That just says for getting them subjected to the investigation...no admittion of guilt there...
We just have to wait until the amendments come out to be able to say exactly what changes are going to be made...it's as simple as that...

if it comes to pass that mr daryl horton and mr thomas benson "cooked the books" on the financials i am going to file a complaint with the peer review comittee of the aicpa and see if both of them wouldn't be happier in another profession after losing their cpa certifications.

159,000,000 From that PR... Roughly 80m needed for that vote...but then again...didn't they claim that 60M or so were "bought up and put in a trust"? A large portion of the OS would still be in the hands of the old FHAL people...Mike included...

I'm getting the exact thing. A check on whitepage's reverse lookup didn't give anything.
For some reason, I almost seem to remember something like this back in the FHAL days, but its been a long, drawn out time!

Ditto on the reverse lookup, also no luck finding JMS Construction in Texas Yellow books

Someone is going to have a hell of a job cleaning this mess up and getting us where we need to be before it starts trading . Looks like that 2 week camping trip might not be enough after all .
I hope trading stays halted for a while . This is pure madness and there's no way Rufus planned all of this . He was basically shooting from the hip this whole time .

Tut is definately in the know boat....I would tend to believe he has to be in that group of majority shareholders.

I have just 3000 shares of this and if this whole think does blow up, I'll survive with the relative small outlay. I do feel sorry for the people that had 10's and 100's of thousands of shares that were in the same boat hoping for the miracle. It would be a good time to bow our heads in prayer

I'm starting to think this is why Rufus came to Dallas.
I agree. An informal dinner with friends in the midst of an investigation did seem a bit cavalier. Looks like we're headed to Big D:
"RESOLVED FURTHER, that Michael Alexander be authorized to establish the corporate offices for the Company in a location that he deems appropriate..."
In hindsight, it seems that we have been given hints of some of this in the past.
I like what I am seeing. All of the important players are in, the money is there, the power-seats are ready to fill and the much respected Mr. Alexander is running the show. For me, this simply validates that the company is getting everything in order.
As far as incorrect and missing filings; I believe that Rufus was trying to hide as much as possible from the eyes of the shorters so the impact of the squeeze would be that much more devastating when everything was laid on the table - the damage to these people was one of his driving passions. In this effort, certain documents may have been delayed and not yet sent to Delaware. Others have also noted that the original bonds were filed with the Georgia UCC Real Estate records, probably not the best place for them. Neither of these things is necessarily illegal but enough to warrant suspicion.
The irony here is that as much as no one likes to see a shakeup like this, all goals of the company are already in motion, possibly including the short squeeze, assuming we get some nice names added to the Board and positive news before we trade again.
Mike has always wanted this to succeed (go read the merger agreement and look at the number of shares he holds!) and we should be thankful to have him working in our best interest to continue the positive efforts made by the company to date.
Finally, the part about the management subjecting the company to a SEC investigation does not go on to admit anything, only list the points of the investigation. Read carefully.

DO NOT Call the number please....Those may be the new offices or just a needed number for the PR....they cannot give you additional information...I understand much work is going on there with Mike A.

So Rufus was in Texas to meet with Mike and "square away any needed paperwork" and what not...just in case...and he also looked at a "new site" to move the company offices to? At the same time the shareholders turned it into a dinner for a small chin up gathering...? Kinda funny that this was being done "right under the shareholders noses"...Well no one can say that he did it "behind our backs"...
all very interesting ...all speculation...and now we still wait and see what comes AFTER the 7th...Hope they have that MM lined up...

Theoretically, the suspension exists through the 6th, so even with the hearing, we COULD resume on the 7th, could we not? IF there is an agreement between the company and the SEC, why keep it halted? (I do agree not trading is in our best interests, but...)

But Mike said

And I think it is obvious there WOULD be some questions... can't believe he wouldn't be prepared to receive some calls there.

That doesn't sound all that great there Portman. I think they would have put a real number in an official PR. I'm not liking the reasoning you've given here.
BTW, are you in the know boat? Somehow I get the feeling you are or you're at least real close to where it docks .
