ya...that's the way I understood it: NASD (not the exchange, NASDAQ) is supposed to be notified, whether they "approve" or not.
on SPR? Rufus indicated that he was giving notice as of that day (yesterday)....
i see the problem on not giving advance notice for the shareholders.. ] however? do we know that he didn't give notice to the authorities? and if he did? how would they notify the public, since it isn't a split or a dividend?
he is saying it's part of the reset, not a divvy or split... i understand what he means, i just don't have anything to compare this to...
i GUESS the SEC doesn't either...
SOMETIMES? it's alot easier to just go ahead and do something and ask for forgiveness after than it is to get permission...
the SEC would have a hard time taking awya everybodies shares without a big fight..

nope...not as far as I've seen.
However, I see your "however" and raise a However...
from what I've gleaned? Roofie is saying the 10-day notice applies to the 30th... iow, he has not addressed 10 days *before* the 16th...

Since when does a brokerage decide that a company gets an "E"? I would think this would be the job of the otc or sec. I wouldn't think that each brokerage has to go in and actually figure out which companies are deliquent and then change the symbol themselves.
This seems real fishy, but I would have expected it from TDA and not ETrade.
If this opens and anyone had an "E" in their account...well, lets just say I think there would be a good buying opportunity!

am trying to listen to SPR loopcast...am *very* surprised to learn Simon doesn't get the difference between a halt and a suspension...
simon is just like us Tex...
he knows alot, but not everything and he seems to be genuinely interseted in learning.. not an "instant expert".. .. as you recall? at first i was expecting an expert on CSHD and when he turned out to be NOT and expert? i was dispappointed, until i realised he was just learning about it... he does inquire...

It's an individual. Seeing it through a 144 makes me believe that these were formerly restricted shares. More than likely he has been holding these for quite some time and probably pay pennies for them. This was right after the notice of late filing. The only one that can explain it is ther person themself. However, if he had it since pennies and now stood to cash out at $187K hey who can realy blame him.
Just my take on it.

OK, has you can see from the number of posts, I am new to this thread. I have been reading your posts for a couple of weeks. I have been in CSHD prior to finding this thread. I am still in CSHD!!
I apologize upfront if the information in the link below has been covered already. But it appears to me that article from **********.com would make most investors very nervous about Rufus and company. Perhaps the article is full of fabrications. Although I am not sure why.
Can anyone shed some light on the article and the claims that are made?
This is NOT bashing!! I just want to get your collective take on the article. I will still need to decide for myself. And please, keep the emotional part out of your analysis. After all, it is all of our money here.

Sorry, I did not know that certain things are censored here. Why would that be? Just getting all of the info out, so informed decisions can be made.

I was not looking for bashing of S T O C K W A T C H. I know nothing about them. But the report surely is not full of lies. I was hoping that the claims they have made can be refuted.
Like I said, I am long a large number of shares and would like to tap your knowledge regarding these claims. Are they all FALSE??

The claims have been refuted. Go back and read. Sorry, I have no more patience for this. Do some DD and then come back. Sorry, I sound rude but this is about the 100th time I've seen this approach. Mods, it seems pretty obvious!
