Northwestern Mutual is a long historied, very conservatively managed insurance and financial products company, more than 100 years as a mutual insurance company.....they always are able to maintain and increase dividends....I would call them an "institution". My insurance coverage is with them and has been since 1974....FWIW

well the good news is that it does sound like the tide is changing, with more stocks now asking for the NOBO list, that would tick me off if I was a MM

Yep, I noticed that too. Until a few weeks ago I never heard of the NOBO, Now everyone's doing it.
