Wow, where to start... Huge squeeze starting, potential IPO at the end of the month at as much as $54 a share! We are at battle right now to get over 75 million shorts covered...

We should start e-mailing the institutional MM's with an intro letter and the NOBO list. Make them aware of this situation and try to bring in buying power.

I talked to scottrade. My broker called the headquarters and they said that they looked thru 25% of the shares and there were no shorting on customer shares. He did not say the company did not short. I asked why the list on cvsu site showed so many shorts? He did not know why and stated a NOBO list is just a list of shareholders who do not want to be mailed flyers and nothing more. I asked if this list represented shorts and he said no.
This was the biggest BS fluff off job i have heard!!!
Please give me ammo and I will call back.

Got this back from my senator. Looks like we might all need to send hard copies as well:

I just got off the phone with my Scottrade representative and she said my shares are fine because I do not have "Margin" set up on my account. She said that is the only way they can be shorted. I told her that I have seen the NOBO list and that Scottrade is 14 million short shares. She said that can't be because "you can't short this stock" (not sure what she meant by this).
I led her to http://www.cvsu.us/ and she seemed a bit dumbfounded. She said that they have received several calls on this and the office manager had a call into their corporate office to get some answers. I told her that I will call her back this PM. Hope this helps.

Waiting for further response from E-Trade as well. They were QUICK to respond to another less important question I had, but dragging on this one.

PLEASE ASSIST US CITIZEN RE: SEC MATTER - YOUR ACTION IS REQUESTED
Dear Sir and Madam:
As a taxpayer, member of the voting public and citizen who takes pride in management of my financial future, I am writing to express my concern over a matter recently affecting me – Naked Short Selling.
I have invested in a company with my hard-earned money much as I would deposit my money in the bank – under the impression that there are laws in place and a monitoring system by a government agency to ensure that trading participants and corporations act with fairness and honesty in the free marketplace.
Unfortunately, it has come to my attention that the SEC has been very lax in enforcing what little regulation it has put into place.
Specifically, I am a stockholder in the recently-merged recently-formed company Conversion Solutions Holding Corp (CSHD). The CEO of the company has made blatant and bold statements as to the naked shorting position held by shareholders and institutions and, in a nutshell, stock manipulation in the marketplace. My concern is that none of the accused corporate entities nor government agencies have stepped up to address the matter.
Please familiarize yourself with the content of this claim by reading the press release.
As you can imagine, I am greatly concerned as this matter directly affects me, my financial efforts and my future well-being. If the market is allowed to continue as a free-for-all while government entities turn their heads, then personal investment and personal wealth management will become pointless.
I ask you – what will be left? If the SEC allows the marketplace to be flooded with counterfeit shares, in what state will our open free-trading market be?
I understand there are important matters to attend to in these times, but it will behoove you to make a statement regarding this matter. I IMPLORE you to make a statement on this matter, to protect the integrity of our investment community.
With appreciation for your prompt attention,
~BB baby yeah yeah (insert your name here )
Hitting all these emails with the same subject line will show strength in numbers. I've included both gov’t officials and orgs, and also primary newspapers.

Ask them if they can provide certs for all shares of CSHD issued to customers...remember naked shorting is illegal..I do not think they will admit to doing illegal activities, do you?

I have a ST margin acct. and I have been told that my shares are safe because you can't buy shares under 2 or 4 dollars on margin. I bought these at face value from my acct.

That's what they have.
Or fail to delivers...
Chart: How would naked Shorts effect my shares if they can't be shorted (ie: no margin account)?

Surfer: are you confortable with their response? I'm not so sure I am.

I called on the status of my transfer and they said all was in order. They said 3-5 days. I let them know they said 1-3 yesterday and I would call daily to check.
I also mentioned the discrepancy seemed par for the course with TDA of late. I indicated the DTC and NOBO numbers where out on CSHD and that they were 14M short and that they had been telling customers they either where not short shares or and number of answers (I listed a few). His reply was..."I don't have an answer for that."
If I did not want to share this before my meeting I would have escalated to a manager.

Got a real answer from my emails...but it doesn't seem good for us:

Scottrade says they are not shorting our shares but that only applies to retail customers. They are doing what ever they want to do with their own private stash and do not need to let us in on the secret.

I guess the question I am asking (and I'm sure everyone else is asking the same thing) is what questions to I need to ask, who do I need to ask them to, and do I need to request my CSHD certs in order to protect myself here?
What I am understanding is that there are more people out there who think they own CSHD shares than there are shares....so, come re-set, chit hits the fan when people start trying to sell...correct???
I am not an expert on Naked Shorts as they were not around when I worked at Fidelity (at least I never heard the term).
