i hope this (today) is a serious attempt to start to cover as many of the naked shorts as they can...
today was just a minor dent in the NS...
i cannot know if the NS will be covered, we'll know soon...
i don't believe all of the NSes that are supposed to exist (75 million) can possibly be covered under teh current share structure as i understand it.. when the 10K comes out? we'll better understand the share strucutre...
if today was the beginning? we won't need a reset...
which is what i've been hoping for all along...
as the PPS goes up in short cover? much more volaitlity will occur...
they will shake this HARD...
on the other hand? today may have been a buy-in by people that read the PR's...
send those letters to your Senators and Congressmen... NSing by traders needs to be fixed...
NSing to create liquidity in the market by a bona fide MM is needed....
i read SEC filings... we really don't have many to go on yet...

I agree with you in that the real problem here for the brokers has been FTD's. What really is interesting to me is that this stock appears on the SHO list. My understanding has always been that the SHO list was for legitimate Shorts on a stock yet no one has been able to find even one broker that says this stock can be shorted, so how is legitimate shorting happening?

I've spoken with 3 different TDAmeritrade staff and they flat out deny the news posted by Rufus. They state that they are trying to get a retraction to that story and that they are taking this very seriously.
They say that they DO NOT short penny stocks and the reason for stopping the BUYs is because of a pending litigation, but couldn't tell me what it was about. That all makes sense! I asked them if it was because they massively shorted this stock (stupid question, like I'd get an honest answer), and they still claim they hold NO possitions on this.
It sucks that I couldn't buy more because of them..

My understanding has always been that the SHO list was for legitimate Shorts
the SHO list means that for whatever reason? the shares have NOT been delivered, and continue to not be delivered for along time ...
when someone LEGALLY shorts a stock at the retail level?
the shares are BORROWED, and a receitp is placed in the account the shares are borrowed from...
the shares are then sold short to someone else, and they are delivered....
the "missing shares"? they are in th account they were BORROWED from....
the borrower has to put up colateral fro their loan...
the person who loaned them can sell whenever they want, (according to the contract i saw, but? there could be many variations of contracts) and the broker has to "locate" more shares for the short-seller to borrow....
Naked Shorting? without borrowing? is perfectly LEGAL by bona fide MM's making liquidity in a market...
if this NS postition is really 75 million? somebody made an accounting error IMO....
it could be that the NSer thought Rufus would be Reverse splitting, which can cause a loto of confusion in th eshare counts, and the NSers seem to be able to take advvantage of that somehow...
the CMK? naked shorting appears to have been done by a retailer thru his brokerage... a couple hundred billion shares of it..sheesh
CMK? sold about 500bilion, it looks like, so it was easier to hide them...

I guess the closest thing I can compare it to in my world is the shorting going on in Silver..
there was a letter from schwab offering as much as 6% for CSHD or FHAL shares, but they wanted yu to have 50K shares as i recall... they were very unhappy that someone released it to the public...
when you borrow to short? you pay CREDIT CARD interest rates...
another little peice of info the shorts don't want you to know cuz it adds up the longer you hold your short position... so? it gets less profitable as you wait to buy back... IMO? that's why sourstreet and stockfruit do their gig... it speeds up the drop...
the other thing is colateral.. suppose you have shares of GOOGLE set aside for caloteral and google drops 50% (yeah right LOL) but suppose it does? you lost a lot of yuor colateral...
shorting is for people with deep peckets...

there are companies htat have had more shorts sold into the market than there are shares in the float..

You have to know when to pull shares off the table and ride free one's, I also just got a pm from a source saying they are talking trash about me and a few others in Paltalk well that's great they have nothing better to talk about, and i will say it again I have never told anyone to sell there shares or to buy any shares, I hear they are saying i told TXprincess to sell. well she has posted many time's i never told her once what to do, she told me she was selling i told her it is your money do what you want with it. If you sold to protect your capital and ride free shares, Hey great job. I did the same and post that I had and why I did. I just remember that when you said you sold the reasoning was different. Thus my post the other night. I have always advocated for people to protect their captial and would never begrudge you or anyone else doing that. Just like things to be on the up and up.

If this is playing out like I think it is and remember this is pure speculation on my part, I would be surprised not to see a PR before or shortly after the market opens tommorrow. Have no idea of the content but based on the impromptu survey on HSM last night, I would not be surprised to see a PR stating that they have decided to use the option of paying the shareholders that requested it a $15 buyback. IMO, it's about the only thing that will help this stock skyrocket in the next 2 days. Without that PR it could have some nice gains but that particular PR would create a buying frenzy and force any short positions to cover no matter how the shorts occurred.
Like I said pure and utter SPECULATION nothing more.

So, if the prices rises significantly tomorrow like today, would the chances of a reset to say $54 perhaps be lower? Im kind of confused now. All hypothetical of course, just want to get the info straight for myself, and maybe any others who might be confused.

This is a point I have posted on in the past and receive some resistance to. Rufus has never said that the price would be reset to anything other than $15. He has said that with the new bonds it COULD justifiably be reset higher but never stated that it would. Therefore, IMO, the reset is still $15. It could change but that will not be known until the 10K is filed.

Hey all I just got off of work and had to watch EOD through Level 1 gerrrr. It was still awsome though I love you Rufus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11 And Allstocks! This has been a great ride and it's not over!!! I bought a little more this morning to flip it and I did not sell it yet. I holding my motherload for the motherload!!! This is great!
