I don't really plan on paying off the house, just having enough in savings to do it if I wanted to. Really just going to pay down past the stupid mortgage insurance, and probably add on a sunroom, third car garage, and another full bath. It is about as good of an investment as CSHD!
Can't give away that tax deduction, can we? I meant the same actually...although, I won't have enough to pay it off, just a much higher comfort level about it.
No PMI (gotta love doing a 80% first and a 20% second - I had a great mortgage officer!), sunroom, pool, and 4th garage are on our list, along with some painting and furniture needs. If I manage even one of those as an outcome, I will be most pleased.

It is always good to give... will definitely continue to do so, but honestly the amounts may not get bigger until I know my children's education is fully taken care of. I got a house full.

Bud...how did you pick that range?
Look at it like this, there is 2 day's left to cover today and tommorw ok, Most short's must cover higher now because the price is higher then it ever was, some covered some today at a lower price, they will not mess around on friday to cover because the halt may come at the open, so look for some shakes but they will get baked...

Yep... ours was not as big as we would have liked but we walked through the door the day after close with 30K in equity so it was the deal of a life time next too CSHD possibilities. The previous owner had made a mint in Garmin stock, and was upgrading to a much larger house. I think this one has investor's good luck. LOL
Heck, todays gains alone pay off one vehicle. but I agree with the thought that "we don't count our chips until the deal'ns done."

I have been saving up for my very first home, and I think that my 10k of shares will pay for anything that I want in pretty much any price range. After that, student loans for me and the fiance, pay for most of my wedding so that both sets of parents can have a lighter load, and maybe pay off my dad's home equity loan, just as a thank you, or maybe the cottage they just bought. And I gotta pay for at least a few semesters of school for my sister. Told my parents that when I became an engineer, I would at least pay for one of them. This should make up for all the hell I caused them in high school, that I just finished paying my dad back for in January. Just as a reference, I graduated from HS in 1999, so I owed my dad a lot.

It's actually quite touching to hear how everyone would spend the money if it gets to that. It kinda brings the human side to all of the names we see on our screens every day. Me, I would do something VERY special for my parents and take my wife back to Vegas...where we got married. Oh, and then there's the patio, landscaping, lawn furniture,.... ...and Marklund Center...a center that help children with disabilities. I've give to them every year, but not enough. This will give me the opportunity to kick it up a bit.
...nice to dream...let's hope this plays out like we all hope it will. GLTA!

remeber? we have the NASD now PRing the fact that NevWest did in fact NS CMKX.. so at least part of this is true...
write those letters to your Representives on Capital Hill...
even if you are "UP" today? "they" won't stop NSing until you make them feel the heat... they'll be trying to get the next stock NSed to make their losses back...
and? this is and election year.. so let 'em know how you really feel...
Important info on Naked SHorting works, by a basher himself. Good info here on CMKX and who an officer from CMKX sold 250 billion shares and how "shorters" make money on penny's. do dd By: greedy_malone 27 Sep 2006, 12:52 AM EDT Msg. 387051 of 387919 Jump to msg. # It's possible
that Edwards was planted by the shorts and NevWest looked the other way when they were shown they could make $2.5 million for pretending they didn't see anything.
More likely he was planted by the group who paid the shorts to gain control of the claims. Edwards could very well be a "wolf in sheeps clothing".
That control of the $53 million is consistent with the way shorts operate. They usually trade the stock to make the money they pay their employees with. Like I stated before, a naked short share is never covered and therefore never able to collect on. You guys call it a "FTD" but we call it a "terminal hang". Meaning, it hangs out there for eternity. Groups pay the shorts to destory the companies. The shorts generally try a pump and dump to raise some extra funds then short all shares that can be found, covering at the bottom after naked shorting about 10 times the O/S. So they make money up front, then pump and dump, then short every legal share they can get their hands on before naked shorting it all the way to the basement and covering the legal short they have. Yes, they make money 3 times on one company at the expense of the company and those who do not understand how the sub penny market operates.
Looks like Edwards was up there ont he list of possible crooks. So far up that part of the $53 million probably was used to pay me and the others. He might have been one of the unnamed bosses I had.
I'll be interested to see just how this moves in the next 72 hours. I still look for some Andros Island connection. That's where my direct deposits originated from.
