I always wondered why I can't buy stocks sometimes (TDAM). This is a huge mess. Wish I had read the trend last week....which I looked at but never read it. How does a company get shorted this bad??? The MM can hold the trading price to anything they want.....with that in mind....can't they stop or slow down people from buying??? I know TDAmeritrade restricted it from the posts I read....but is this really legal?

Chart, excellent post you had a ways up this page (unless this post makes it to page 114, then it would be the previous page) LOL I agree with you on pretty much everything you said. Don't know about all of you, but I'll have visions of sugarplumb Rufus's dancing through my head tonight.
Good night all! It was a fun day today!

Wondering if I'll get to sleep this evening...... . . FWIW, follows are Tut's tidbits from this evening on H S M.. . . 10:39 PM #2052 tutankhamen HSM Newbie Join Date: Aug 2006 Posts: 151 Quote: Originally Posted by phil there is only one place in the requirements that the pps must hold a level for any length of time and that is #3. You also have to remember that when the price is reset the company will exceed the share price requirement even though it is a new price. Very similar to an IPO. In may ways it is a totally new company listing on the board.

I also paste in the Text of message #12318 for convenience of reference: There could also be good reasons to begin the price reset at a not too "unrealistically" high price. Technical reasons which would make it easier to get to NASDAQ without too may questions and easier acceptance by regulatory bodies of an "acceptable" price reset. Easier acceptance for institututional buyers to step in and that in turn would continue to drive up share prices farther and continue to support the upward movement. This in turn would also force shorts to continue to push prices higher as they begin to cover because of the continued climb. It would technically be very possible to see the pps even climb to $50 or higher even in the first few hours of trading. The continued climb based on the valuation of the company and continued growth could see a sustained climb over days, weeks and longer.

Once again the King has spoken. I love his posts - there is something about them that reasures me that this is really going to happen.

I was thinking about what tut was talking about on hsm. I was thinking yesterday is there anyway that on fri-mon. With everything this stock has going for it there's anyway for it to get a so called express ticket to a NASDAQ listing? If for some reason that was able to happen wouldn't all the shorts have to cover immediately. I don't think they can carry those shorts to a higher exchange all conjecture. See everyone in a little while.

I posted in similar fashion on HSM about the reset.
Essentially, you do not want an overtly high reset for the very reasons indicated by tut. Even if you have a valuation higher you still need to entice buying pressure and nothing will do that like a bargain.
The other is if our valuation is really in the $70 and above area you begin living in split land. There is a conventional wisdom that when certain stocks move into the $70 - $100 range they become too expensive for the average market play and are thus in less demand. Therefore, we often see a forward split to some degree. I do not think Rufus wants this at this time.
I see great potential in keeping the reset to $15 but no more than $20-$30. This does not bother me in the least.

Good morning all. Another crap night of sleep. All is good though, I made an extra strong pot of java which should keep me going. God only knows what's gonna happen today. Wouldn't mind a day of slow climbs.
Anyway, good luck!

Good morning everyone. The clock is ticking and I'm getting anxious! Although I want the reset and to sell a portion of my holding to recoup my initial investment I want to see CSHD do well afterwards and continue to grow. Seems with all the news about the bonds and such they are getting well positioned for future growth.
