They are holding it down hard. Look at the ask. They lower it and two sales go out above it. Then one sale matches it and they lower it again.
MM's are holding it down with all their might.

My ameritrade a little messed up. The bid is at 0.64. But the ask is at 6.35. Way weird

Did anyone notice WDCO (who I have not seen playing this before) just jumped up and collected some shares for a few minutes and then got out and put his ask at .90? Anyone think this is meaningful?

Ah, ok. I really dont know much about MM activity, I'm trying to learn as I just got L2's. Do you know why an MM would do that if they havent been playing a stock at all and then decide to do something like that?

it could be that they know something and want to buy in low and then sell out high when this baby moves up

Yes, KB...tuff to say exactly what they're thinking, but buying and setting your ask that much higher can only be good.

MMs profit by making you nervous. They're like China, with plans that may not be completed until we're all dead and buried. Well maybe not that long.

Everyone trades through MM's or ECNS. When you put the price that you want to buy or sell at, it gets routed to an MM. The MM puts the highest and lowest price that they are willing to buy/sell at. It just so happend that someone routed their order to WDCO (or WDCO themselves bought it) and WDCO put the price to buy it at, after that order was executed they moved to the nearest order in the query which is to sell at .90
The reason for the huge change in price is because they probobly dont have that many orders to buy/sell at and the nearest one they have is at .90.
Other stocks like UBSS and NITE are huge wholesale MM's so they always have a ton of orders and are usually close to the bid/ask compared to smaller MM's.

Okay, let's say that the buyout news comes out that we're all going to get $1+ per share. What are the odds of anyone being able to buy more for less than the buyout price and maximize profit?
