That's the part we're all wondering about.
But it's no big deal!, it happends all the time! It's not like they just bought $500,000 worth of stock, just a tiny bit.

I have seen this north of the border in some instances where the stock remains just below the offer mark by a very small percentage however it is usually institutional buyers who can afford to do this.

This is looking good. This has been the normal time for a pullback but we're plowing right through it. Up this afternoon IMO

If you continuously buy 10K shares at .63 wait two minutes and sell at .64 then start over again, you would make $100 dollars a pop minus the $7+ dollars commission. By the end of the day you could probably make about $1000 bucks [Smile]

sorry DIG my answer referred to this question....i replied that i have seen take out offers of companies at let say 2.00 and people still buying up until the buyout date at around 1.93 - 1.98 it is usually institutions doing the buying and if you ask then why would people sell below that price some just do not want to wait and put the money in something else sooner...if you can understand my broken english

Chart shows 3 days of consolidation after a run, and then another run. If we don't run this afternoon, tomorrow will be a very good day IMO.

10000 shares is not going so quickly but a one day hold with a morning gap such as the last two days is much better......wed open .6875 and today .64 then quickly to 66 we hope for another gap to open tomorrow and then sell hopefully around 68 once again...just do not take this as advice it is my opinion only I am still holding the bulk of mine long

Seems at 0.68, there is a resistance. The whole morning and now, the price is bouncing between 0.62-0.66. Following the possible news next week, this should be a good sign.

I am expecting news tomorrow. I still feel that since Monday is the deadline date they will want to release news prior to Monday to relieve any panic that shareholders may feel if the deadline were to come and go.

I also think tomorrow will be the day for at least one of the PR's. I think the best way to do it would be to release it tomorrow afternoon so that it drummed up all kinds of buzz over the weekend. But, like I said, to my knowledge, the only time the company has ever issued a PR is before the morning bell.

If the company knows something that we don't (God forbid) than they may not even be concerned about an early PR, since they know where it's going anyway and to them that could be all that counts. A price is a price panic or not. JMO.

When this switches to the OTCBB, won't there be 3 days or so where we won't be able to trade it?

I dont believe so, if there is no symbol change there should be no problem trading.

Govt. preparing sweeping changes to tax laws - deputy PM - 1
16:21 | 24/ 04/ 2006

MOSCOW, April 24 (RIA Novosti) - The government is preparing to submit to parliament a comprehensive package of long-term changes to Russia's tax laws, a deputy prime minister said Monday.

Alexander Zhukov said the amendments sought to improve tax administration, as well as encourage oil production, index customs tariffs rates, and increase social payments as part of income tax.

"After the amendments are made to the [tax] law this year, it will remain unchanged for quite a long time," Zhukov told a Cabinet meeting attended by President Vladimir Putin.

Zhukov said one bill was designed to increase oil production, stimulate oil companies to develop new deposits and intensify work at the oil fields already on stream.

"The law includes a zero tax rate for mineral production in East Siberia and on the continental shelf," he said.

Plans are also in place to introduce a sliding coefficient for oil fields with production exceeding 80%, Zhukov said.

"Lower severance tax will make their development cost-effective," he said.

The deputy premier also said that the government had drafted a law to index excise rates by an average of 8.5% for all eligible goods.

"However, excises for oil products will not be indexed so as to avoid increases in petrol and diesel fuel prices along with growing world prices," Zhukov said.

Zhukov also said excise payments would be switched to oil refineries.

"It will make the system simpler, and increase excise collection," he said, adding that social payments including education and health care within income tax would be raised from the current 38,000 rubles ($1,380) a year to 50,000 rubles ($1,817).

"We will consider these draft laws, approve them and submit to the State Duma at the next government session," he said, adding that if adopted, the package would come into force on January 1, 2007.

Putin said the government should seek stability in the tax sector, and praised the government's proposals, especially regarding tax administration.

"We have discussed it at length with business circles," he said, adding that he favored harmony between fiscal services and businessmen.

Is this the part of the day where we start posting all kinds of hype to create price movement for the day or do we just depend on the merits of the stock itself?
