I don't mind Purl and Dust posting in this thread when they have sound critiques. But lately, they just come here to dance on people's graves. And Purl talks about Karma...please...

Dust an purl, what should we do if we start making more money here? Should we try to explain that its a miscalculated mistake and offer to give it back? I'm at a loss throw me a bone here.

Start the BBQ cause I'll be eating a ton of Crow..As long as I don't have to drink Thunderbird with it, I should survive..
In California is Thunderbird a crime against nature yet? Is it punishable by Funny Farm time? LOL

I imagine they are including North West, Dig. Here is another tid bit to ponder. If the private investors of NWO are recieving restricted shares, and the Russian Gov't will not allow any foriegn firm to have controlling interest (I think 41% seems to be the common number on foreign investments in oil companies) That should somewhat cap the float. This doesn't mean that the float can't be higher than 41%, just no single foreign entity will be able to purchase more than 49%. This company really seems to want to go public, which fits the with the goverments latest campaign to draw in foreign investors, and develope their fields.
I imagine NWO is aquiring shares right now, and this will have a potent effect on the price later. I can't imagine this company scamming it's shareholders right now. This looks like a long term plan and scamming people now would be of little use. In one year when the restrictions are lifted on the private NW investors, they still will not be able to flood their shares on the market due to their government restricting the foreign control. This could create kind of revolving door on stock prices, and generally create a stable market. I am sure they are not going to dump shares for .80. I also think this company needs to leave the pink sheet daytraders at the door (I am one myself) with out creating distrust. I am certain these guys are moving to another board, with more creditablity and a higher price eventually the penny guys will sell, and the price will be high enough so as NOT to attract new penny guys.
In my opinion investor confidence is what is holding this one down. People are scared and alot of people could still sell this for a profit. When it goes up, I bet alot of people will sell it, just to break even. I bet there are people reading this board that just want to break even with the price and sell. This will slow the short term progress, but if NWO gets a new audience this will change. I have DD every oil field these guys have, and I still can't tell you how much oil they have, but it is alot. So now when you see people posting 200 mil is just probable and that is worthless, go do own DD and you choose just how worthless it is. Purl has upset alot of people here, but I have done so much DD to counter her points, that I feel very confident in the future of this company. I have called the company myself and so far they have been truthful about everything that has come out. They have been WAY to concerned about the public ie. the PR dening a Chinese takeover. They should never have issued this. They were reacting to rumors. If people had done their own DD, they would have already known this. Bad idea for the company, but I think that is some of the growing pains a small company goes through when they start growing so fast.
Sorry for the long post. Good Luck and go NDOL

Well said hawk...I believe the powers to be over at NDOL could have done less damage to the pps if they had said, "Just kidding...we have 4 billion tons of proven and probable gummy bears".
Good intentions, pathetic execution.

hawk, I buy penny stocks, but i'm not prejudice of ones that cost a lot more when I get in at the bottom. Ya people will want to sell. We need to enjoy some of the fruits of our labors while we are still young. No doubt I will sell some when the price is right and keep some for down the raod and hopefully some hefty stock dividends along the way.

I wonder if the Chinese will think twice about buying oil from Nord after them defending a lack of involvement with the Chinese.

By the way it might be advantageous for me to hold this for over a year for a lower tax bracket. It could be a tens of thousands of franc savings. In Iraq dinars it would equal many millions.

OKAY, question here? If you all had 40k collecting hardly no money in the bank, how crazy would it be to buy this at this price?

it would be a very good long term investment and probably a very good short term one as well
but that's just my opinion!

The only thing that is due out is the 8k and 10k. But at the rate this company gets things done it might take weeks for just those.. Plus this stock just drops on news. So I don't know.. I might have to hold it a year to just break even at this point.
