Just to give some insight. I was with Scottrade for a couple years, moved my account to Lowtrades. I also opened an account with Freetrades. Scottrade: Not to bad overall but a bit expensive. The 7 dollar trades are for market orders only and you can't market order pennies, then again you wouldn't want to unless you want to pay top dollar for them or sell them really cheap. They do have their own streamer that you can do all the trading from except pennies with which most you have to call them to trade. Costs: Lowtrades: Platform for trading is cumbersome and at times slow and locks up. They do only charge $5 per trade and you can buy and sell any stock including pennies without having to call them. There is an extra charge when you sell a stock that is supposidly a sec fee. Support is by phone, however good luck getting ahold of someone. I have tried a few times and half was quick answer and the other half was no answer. Costs: Freetrades: As the saying goes you get what you pay for. The first 20 trades per month are free then the next 80 are $3 the next 100 are $2 and the rest over that are $1. SEC fee is included with the selling of stock. What I meant by you get what you pay for is that people are right when they say you only have email support. Also there is no streamer that you can use and nothing extra unless you pay a monthly fee to use Ameritrades Streamer and Level II. However with the low trading prices you can't beat it. If you don't need to call them for anything then Freetrades is the way to go. I use Medved Quotetracker and it integrates well with Freetrade so that I can do any trading and have a streamer without ever signing into Freetrades. It doesn't work with Lowtrades though so I have to sign into them to do any trading. I hope this helps to give a bit more insight of what you are looking for. Steve IP: Logged |

My trade filled so I only have over 500k now. I found this on another board. Quite interesting. Ok let us use a bit of math to really determine the current worth of QBID. IP: Logged |

I use etrade, and pay 9.99/trade for all my trades. I also have an account with Ameritrade but prefer Etrade. I like etrades' accessories, like power etrade, charts and also, that I can transfer money into etrade account from my personal bank and trade with that money immediatly. Ameritrade will make me wait 5 days before money can be used. Freetrade sounds like a bargain, but I'm not familiar. Goodluck dz

The Hollywood Reporter is a (and some say THE) huge Film/TV Industry publication. Q Television mentioned tonight in this article: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/thr/television/feature_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1000564268 IP: Logged |

Nice article, gives us a little bit of info, more than we have received from Frank these past weeks. But in any case any GOOD pr helps. The article does state that QTV is working on Sat Agreements. Someone from QTV had to give this info to the writer. ------------------ IP: Logged |
