Comcast have been running ads regarding QTV on their information channel in the Sacramento CA area for the past 3 days. They give a preview of the content but only say "Coming Soon" and for more ordering information please call Comcast. Sounds like its going to launch soon IP: Logged |

Doctoall, do you mean on the "What's On" channel, which has the TV Guide scrolling on the bottom half and the coming attractions promos on the top half? I'm in Berkeley/Oakland and it is on channel 11 on Comcast here. Is this the same as up in Sacramento? IP: Logged |

Anyone else having a problem gettiing to the Q website? I went out shopping and it was a boring end to a boring day. I come home a few hours later and all heck's broken loose and the website has disappeared (from MY computer, anyway). Is it just over it's bandwith or something? Anyone know? I'll try to tape the Comcast promo if it is running in my area and post it somewhere for all. I'm running the What's On channel till I fall asleep. Maybe I'll get lucky. IP: Logged |

i don't understand folks that don't like that they hired this guy. The person has to be a little weird to head a gay cable station. I think they picked the right guy for the job and they needed someone that could make some noise for them. It was a great pick for their personel. I wouldn't be surprised if it is being revamped! Maybe it will look completely different &/or have more info on. Unless it's some cheap hosting company which has to take down the site to make changes. Geez, imagine Ebay or allstocks doing that? LOL. A Start up company's plans can change very quickly and often. Promises are easier to forget then to say " We can't deliver that promise" Steps taken to become successful can be accounted for and looked at as progress. As long as they are moving forward, I could care less what they said 1 week ago. I say things everyday that I don't end up doing.

Another fluff PR. I agree, today is red. They have been promising this carrier PR and then they give you a PR about a guy who has been accused of securities fraud regarding a childrens network. I don't see QBID launching July 1st. That is this Thursday. I see the end of July beging of August. That is not a bad thing. The PR that came out stated that they are still working on getting things all finalized. I don't see it happening in 2 days on July 1st. Launching in mid-late July or early August is a good thing. That means they are doing things the right way and organized. Looks like they signed with COMCAST which is a great thing. My friend has comcast and he saw QTV coming soon. where is everyone ... thought this was supposed to be *the* week. "just buy more and you will be happy" as some have stated. Come on guys - its another PR and another down day plus as 1BigTip has pointed out before it was supposed to be a down day. It is Tuesday - it is supposed to go down no? And yes people have been told July 1st. Many folks have been told that. The PR's stated 3rd Quarter. Which could be anytime from now till end of Sept. The letters that Diana was sending out said July in them if I recall correctly. She was also told no delays etc etc just like other folks.

Good Morning all ! It's been awhile sense my last little hissy fit, so here goes another. Hi we are the Q network, we are targeting the glta demographic. This last week all around the nation there were great huge gatherings of our target audience, in an effort to capture this audience we thought it would be best to have no presance at all. That way we would get even more attention by people saying "Hey weres Q, I thought they would be here?" Creating a bigger buzz that way verses haveing banners, floats for parades, t-shirts or an information booth. WTF Not that I have ever run or launched a network, but I would have been stepping all over my d/ck to get the word to thease great gatherings of people. That is my biggest concern, weather it is available or not today, let our audience know it is coming, so far the only people who know about Q are the investors. And it being only us we are not going to make money, who are the only people going to make money by only investors knowing about Q? Oh and by the way instead of announcing a joint PR with our carriers we hired this crook to negoiate our contracts. ok ok i have seen a few reference's between this guy and bill gates... do me a favor.. do a google search on both these guys, the first thing on this mark guy is all bad one of the first things on bill gates talks about a foundation that him and malinda started. yes bill gates has been sued, but when you do a search on him that is not the first thing that comes up.
