Q Television Network Documentary Chronicles Struggle for Gay Marriage Rights; Network Committed to Developing Programs That Reflect the Concerns of the Gay and Lesbian Community

Q Television Network (Pink Sheets:QBID) announces the details of an original documentary exploring gay marriage and the issue's prominence in the gay rights movement.

'I Will, I Do, We Did'offers an inside look at the journey taken by a dozen same-sex couples during this historic time, documenting the political and community chain of events that resulted in San Francsico becoming the first city in the nation to issue marriage licenses to gay and lesbian couples.

A joint production by Q Television Network and Roland Joseph Torres, principal of production firm Red Soapbox Visual Media, LLC, 'I Will, I Do, We Did'is an example of Q Television's dedication to offering viewers programs that educate, inform and entertain.

'Marriage rights are a top concern of the gay and lesbian community,'observes vice president of programming and acquisitions Steven Grunberg. 'Since Q Television Network was built by the gay community for the gay community, it was obvious that one of our first projects would focus on this issue.'

A preview of the documentary premiered in May at the National Cable &Telecommunication Association's annual industry conference and was included in a successful five-hour sample broadcast on May 15. The film is also airing as part of Q Television Network's industry launch, which began June 1. The network is available for viewing on Intelsat America's 7, 129 degrees West, Channel 1. A public launch is planned for July 2004.

Q Television and Red Soapbox Visual Media are currently in preproduction on two additional collaborations: a behind-the-scenes look at the San Francisco PRIDE festival and a follow-up to 'I Will, I Do, We Did.'The team's second gay marriage film will consider the effects of divorce on the gay community and include the perspectives of judges and lawyers, as well as the couples interviewed for the film.

Recently Married Gay/Lesbian Couples Sought for Documentary On Same-Sex Marriages
“I Do, I Will, We Did” Chronicles Groundbreaking Events of
February 2004, Profiles Couples for International TV

Bay Area same-sex couples who were recently married as a result of Mayor Newsom’s historic decision to issue marriage licenses to gay and lesbian couples are sought to participate in an interview for a documentary short currently in production that chronicles the events of February 2004 surrounding same-sex marriage. The documentary, with the working title “I DO, I WILL, WE DID” is a co-production of Triangle Multi Media and Red Soapbox Visual Media, LLC.

“The mayor’s decision to defy state laws and recognize these same-sex marriages is a major benchmark in history. Our project aims at chronicling this,” said Roland J. Torres, owner of Red Soapbox Visual Media and director of the project.

According to Torres, the documentary has been accepted for international broadcast, upon its completion. Additionally, plans are in the works for distribution of the project to LGBT film festivals worldwide.

Couples interested in participating in the documentary should contact the producers via email at marriagedoc@hotmail.com

"We're currently seeking couples who might fit the bill, and who would be open to speaking about their experiences on camera. Interviews should take place at their location (ideally in their home), and will take no longer than half-an-hour" says Torres.

The project aims to chronicle the events of Feb 2004 that led to the Same-Sex Marriage explosion, and to share with viewers intimate, one-on-one stories behind the issue that has been front-page news around the world for weeks. To "put a face" to the issue, if you will.

The completed broadcast version of the documentary will be aired domestically with Triangle (who, according to its 02/04 press release is slated for a 9/04 launch date), and with PrideVision TV in Canada. Welcome back home, hope your trip was pleasant. The Q board and ticks seem to be fairly slow this morning but I think that is ok because my limit order to buy another 150K shares went through. I have not been playing many other markets because most of my "gambling" cash is tied up in the Q and a little in TFCT. MY nerves are being restored after the debacle that happened the last week in this board but it looks like slowly the originals are coming back (good to see everyone again). Well, I'm gonna sit back and get some work done while I wait for QTV to launch!

Ok... So my job entails that I work with the gay community (In L.A. and S.F.) and I've been asking around to see if they knew of the first 24/7 GL network coming out... Long story short they all knew "a little bit" about it, but knew nothing about what it was called ... Now, this tells me that the branding MTV is doing to be called the first 24/7 gay network, or trying to do, with Logo has not been of major consequence to QTelevision because the community knows not of the name but only that there is a network coming out. So let MTV do thier thing, they're promoting us like crazy... As mentioned before on this board, when QTelevision airs to the public they'll think it was Q that was putting out all the info ... Plus the blitz on the 21st will further set us up for the advertising MTV has already done.

This is getting exciting!!! Cant wait till the end of this month to hear about the contracts.

QBID is unchanged today. In the past 6 months, QBID is in a trading range with an average daily volume of 428.82 million shares. It is a liquid penny stock, suitable for frequent trading. Recently it was turning down. Now Tradetrek thinks QBID is slightly oversold.

Seriously, and it is just a single post that made you sell. I am not disrespecting you BUT your investment strategy makes me scratch my head, but to each his own. FYI I am still a newbie but when I was a REAL REAL REAL NEWBIE I got suckered into selling my cmrc because I read negitive posts and the price fell like 20% over a week. Three weeks later it doubled. That was my first stock and if I haden't gotten afraid from someone's post I would never have sold. My point is that this place is great to meet and get ideas, but don't base your investment on what SOMEONE Else says to you, espically someone you have never met, online no less.

We have acquired programiing, TV Camera crews which will record and video tape all the news footage and 'b-roll' that is required to make 'Gay QTV News reports and prductions'. We will be able to tape parties, clubs, events, festivles, prades, politics, boycotts, ect ect ect.

We have a Satellite uplink/downlink facility in New Orleans.

We have a top-rated Public Relations firm, Deveney Communications.

We have access to a woman with over 15 years experince in television and broadcasting and who can speak multiple languages.

We have an extensive video collection (stated in an old PR)

We have already made a DOCUMENTARY, with two more on the way.

We have a production company to make shows/videos/films.

QTV is signing contracts all over the US, including New York City.

We ALREADY broadcasted in Wshington/Seattle area as well as New Orleans on TWO completely different cable carriers, COX cable and Comcast Cable.

What on earth would make you so nervous from a single post?

Ohhhhh There is also a share buy back going on.

How can any of us complain?!?!?!?! Sheesh...
