so it seems some are adding shares i wish i had the guts to add more at these prices but im sad to say this qbidiot has lost a bit of faith. im still holding onto all my shares but the fear of the dreaded reverse split is lingering strong in my mind. i truly hope fan can fan away the smell of franks attempted disaster to shareholders. frank really pulled a number on us i am kinda surprised we havent heard of a shareholder with some real bucks putting the hurt on frank with lawsuits about false info. im not saying we have any proof as we all know due to the lack of transparency that we basically know nothing. but all the comments about profitability and buybacks ect.......ect........ ect......... really urks me.

good luck to all and please any and all info and dd is greatly appreciated by me and many others. please q give me a few reasons to buy more shares. how i would love to have 20 million more if only this had a chance to run again.

40 million on lockdown.

Well I finished reading all 8 pages of speculation some good and plausible, some a little far fetched. But some good comes from open disscusion of any scenario, it makes us all THINK.
My thoughts and only my uneducated opinion is that I will hold just as I have since Feb. 04 until there is a factual dialog from QBID. I don't buy or sell on specualation and I refuse to start now. As for an Audit...any audit released now that has been derived from Frank's promised Audit would be worthless. A new and complete audit would have to be done before I would believe any part of it.To much has changed since the audit and no one knows what the truth is we have all been lied to many times.
If I lose my entire investment which is minor compared to many on this board I will survive to invest in something else.
I knew the risk and I took it of my own free will, I trusted Frank just like many of you and we all knew it was a risky adventure with a chance for big rewards.
I'm holding tight and hoping for the best...hope it works for all of us.....John

I remember when Imakemoney went out to the studio, everyone here thought he knew everything and was very nice and polite to him, probably was bombarded with PM's,,,,,

I know I asked him for his opinion...

The response was: "I liked what I had seen and I am buying more"

How much is the QTN studio worth? Is it worth more then what Mr Fan is paying for the shares? Did he get all of it at a bargin price.

I have a feeling that Mr Fan ONLY wants the studio and it equipement. He wants it to start another Home Shopping type network to sell his products. Why else would a manufacturer buy a TV station????

But I really don'y know anything, just a guess.

manfromjax, If those were his intentions, he wouldn't waste time or money to do so. He would've announced this immediately IMO.

My feeling is a combination of the two, shopping channel at night, gay channel during the day. again IMO.

With a specific customer base (GLBT), that has X-Ammount of disposable income. The best plan for him IMO would be to keep the channel the way it is, and choose GLBT oriented products for filler commercials.

Just what my thoughts are.

SD703 thats more like it. And then of course if that didn't work because of the damage that has occured, well then yes, I could see him converting into another shopping network.

Still waiting to see official proof per WA of the transition.

Anyone have a brief summary of the trading history today?

Ameritrade Streamer showed a .0002 trade at 11:36, but Ameritrade's LAST TRADE chart shows no trades above .0001. And the Yahoo charts show a straight flat line, all at .0002.

Anyone have accurate info? Thanks.

I show 2 trades at .0002. One at 11:37 for 1,800,000 and one at 11:36 for 900,000. There might be more before those, be they are off my screen now.

I wonder if there's just a lot of tape painting going on. I believe King Crimson found some weird volume stuff happening the other day. Here's my scenario...the tape gets painted throughout the day to make it look like huge volume is trading, but at the end of the day, there's only been a tenth of that much actually traded.

Now, why would this happen...QBID trying to buyback shares? QBID trying to sell shares? Who knows at this point!

It would be good to get news about something. I don't think these user mgmt types would like it if somebody took a lot of their money then locked them in a sound proof room for 6 months.

Thanks for the info. It's tough finding good data anymore. And I think you're right about the "painting" ... something about the daily trading just doesn't add up. And the huge totals for the day never seen to hold up. This could be inaccurate tracking programs, or manipulation, or whatever. All I know for sure ... I'm confused about what is true and what is false.

In the PR it sounds like the core business will remain the same, with other possibilities. I agree with FOT's post. Who did the board of directors consist of? The ones that resigned?
Does anybody know if Carol Hinnant is still there?

TIA...

(from the latest P.R.)
"The QTN business model presents a multitude of possibilities, and I look forward to taking outgoing Chairman Frank Olsen's vision to the next level," said Mr. Fan. "I am committed to building an exceptionally strong, experienced management team, fortifying QTN's business partnerships and strengthening the network's commitment to providing high quality, engaging television programming focused on the GLBT community."

Has Fan had any other public companies?
If so how has there stock moved?
How has he treated stockholders?
Definately a lot of possibilities in the growing asian marketplace. Maybe the new financial structuring included less pay for the board of directors with the restructuring. He probably wanted some of them to stay but the numbers didn't jive and had to cut expenses.
How deep are his pockets? Seems like Frank spent money a little too easily, and probably paid too much out in salaries up front without the income to support it.
Is Frank still involved at this point?

DAve...
