I have been searching as well and have not been able to find much. Usually it takes awhile but typically I find what I am looking for. I do know that the only movie channel purchased by Showtime/Viacom was "The Movie Channel". I cannot find anything on "The Hospitality Movie Channel" therefore I can only conclude 1) it never existed or 2) it is one in the same as "The Movie Channel" currently owned by Viacom.
If I am not mistaken Frank was vice president of program operations for Warner Cable. This is the only way I have been able to tie Frank to Warner AMEX Satellite Entertainment Company.
Not bashing in anyhway, I'd just like to find a little more information on these companies sold by Frank. I'll keep digging until I find more.....DD can be so fun!
BTW....almost at 10,000,000 here and not selling.

quote:I have to point out that I, also, have tried to DD this information to no avail.
I was really curious if anyone could come up with a source that didn't obviously originate from a company-supplied bio... and nobody has yet.
So I have no proof one way or the other as to Frank's reputation, and I don't think it matters much given that he's already on the job. But when it is said that he "created numerous channels" etc.. well i still see no proof in that.
The company (Q) surely supplied the information for Frank's bio which was used to promote his seminar appearance. Fine. That is standard procedure, a CEO's public relations company writes their company bio.
Clearly every single source comes from the same supplied writings, stating "President of the Hospitality Movie Channel which he sold that business to Showtime/Viacom". SEE THAT WORDING? "...which he sold that business..." not correct grammar, and used every single time because it is all from one source.
Google "The Hospitality Movie Channel" and all you get is Frank's bio rewritten several times.
No other results at all.
There are several other points, like "He entered the television arena with a four-hour home shopping program which was the forerunner of the current home shopping channels." but never says "he sold it for billions.
I know I'm putting myself on a limb here, but I DD'd this subject to death and found nothing to back up the SUCCESSFUL SALE of any tv or radio station, or any background DD not provided by the company itself.

I've only invested maybe $2k into this, but I'm looking at needing to see .0020 before I break even. QBID hasn't "popped" since early 2004 when it ran to .02. Each successive high was *LOWER* than the last. Then we find out that Frank has been diluting the whole time and now we're sitting at the bottom. The only thing left now is for Frank to miss the audit date (which he's probably going to do) and for the SEC to get involved.
Welcome to the new CMKX folks. Frank hasn't given us any reason to think otherwise. And he *still* hasn't promised to stop diluting while this stock is under a penny.

I am a relatively new QBID investor (bought in * .0015 & .0016 back in mid-July)so I was not around for the last CC. I wonder if we'll get any indication of subscriber numbers tomorrow? I guess that's what concerns me the most about this company. IS the demand/market for Q really really out there as I intitially thought?

Hopefully that and other questions will be brought to the light tomorrow. It's easy to feel in the dark right now. Frank sounds like he has deep pockets and the accusation sounds more like a personal one to me. If somebody on your job tells others that you have aids and it isn't true, is the company you work for going to sue or press charges against that person? This could be a different deal, but I just thought i would mention it.

That account has now been deleted as well. You have my word that I/the company will see this through with Karzoid and any other poster that posts false as fact. The company understands there are people that will play devil's advocate and that is healthy, but to lie is different and it will not be tolerated. This porcess will not be easy due to the complexity of the internet, but we will continue to follow through.

g-invest Why did you quote my last post about whiners? Are you admitting that you are a whiner? One of the first steps to recovery is admitting that you have a problem. So, repeat after me:
"Hello. My name is g-invest. And I am a whiner."
I think there are 12 steps to total recovery.

Peaser, To me Franks letter about not being ill seems pretty clear. If he was hiding something on a legal basis, I guess he has a right to do so. Apparently he is competent to do his job and grow Q and thats enough for me at this time. As he said, somebody made it up and he is promising retaliation. So I have to take his word for what he is saying. Short of having medical records proving otherwise. SSHHH.

G make up your MIND!!!!
I never *loved* this stock. I like the company, but FRANK is in charge, and he's an idiot. Whether or not you realize that is another thing.
quote:I know many others that have this view as well, they have mentioned it specifically to me.
I'm selling November 1st if the audit isn't done, this delaying crap is bullsh!t. He has Richard playing litigation monkey on forums now? I'm sorry people, that's when you know a stock has hit rock bottom, when they have staff "patrolling" forums.
It means that Frank has no intentions of doing anything legitimate and instead is having his goons try to keep the PPS up.
We got scammed, folks, its time to move on.

I'm sorry, but when this is all said and done, how much will you have invested in this stock? I know you don't want to talk about how you haven't lost because you haven't sold yet, but I'd like to know how much you've invested so that a year from now when I come back to this forum and QBID is either shut down by the SEC or still trading at .0001 I can rub it in your face.
After November 1st, QBID will be trading at .0005 or lower.

I wish this thread would go back to the original intent of what the board is designed to do and that is help people make money by sharing facts and quit complaining. The facts are that over the last 30 days billions of shares have traded hands and there has been no significant change is pps. The long awaited pop in pps was not materilized even with massive volume, something is not right. I finally got out yesterday with a very small profit, once I saw that the thread got to 80 pages within nothing new to report. Could somebody please give me some stars for looking at this honestly, and not babbling about what I wish and want to happen with pps.

I believe that the only way that you can state a fact right now on Frank's health is to see his medical records. If he is allowed to keep it a secret such as in the case of Magic J, than you are just calling him a liar until you can prove otherwise. You need to back up your suspicions before you dive into deep water. IMO

You're right about the pps, if you look at the chart, it usually took a few weeks before it dropped lower. There were some minor bounces, but nothing of signifigance.

As this question keeps popping up, I have an idea. Why not call in and ask, time permitting, on the CC with specifics to you question. You may not get the exact answer you are looking for but aim you in the right direction to the original company name , purchaser etc.. This is just an idea to help you out.

I welcome the chance to discuss any subject you choose . . . but it has to be face to face. No hiding behind screen names, no childish games. Just two adults sharing thoughts and debating opinions. Maybe we can do this in Vegas . . . but if we meet in Vegas, that means Q paid off and we won't have much to debate.
By the way, I define whining as publicly complaining about issues you cannot control, like "I'm getting older and hate it." Now that is a "whine" I can understand . . . but it's still whining.
See you in Vegas. First round is on me.

tqn No, unfortunately. I should have tipped the waiter a little more and got the fortune cookie with the two-page message. I think it had a lot more details and would have been easier to understand.

By the way, I just found out on accident how to ignore members. Not sure if it works for PMs or throughout the website. Either way, if you click on someone's screen name you are taken to their profile page. Below the profile on the right hand side are options to add members to your ignore list or buddy list. I believe I may just start using it right now.
