RFI OBJECTIVES On December 1, 2005, the CPUC approved SCE’s application for Phase I scope and funding. In anticipation of approval, SCE began the process to define business requirements and AMI system architecture in November 2005. SCE engaged IBM, EnerNex and KEMA Consulting to work with internal technical and functional experts through a systems engineering approach. SCE also seeks to begin formally engaging potential AMI vendors to identify a candidate pool of vendors that have developed or are well underway in the process of developing a commercial AMI solution that aligns with SCE’s business objectives, system requirements and development timeline. As such, SCE intends to use this RFI as a first step in the next generation metering system procurement process. SCE plans to employ a staged development approach that will lead to identifying, testing and deploying next generation candidate technologies. SCE expects to work closely with candidate AMI solutions providers to further develop their next generation technology.

AHD... I know in June the CPU required all the AMR venders be kept under seal until the board released the information. I don't know if any of that still pertains but it gives you an idea how much they think is at stake. IMO Good attempt on your part...Thanks...

Thank you for your interest, but the information you request regarding potential AMI vendors under consideration by SCE is proprietary.

Bought some more today--GLTA on this issue for 2006!! I think FCC certification could possibly move this more than some believe. Like it or not--it will increase speculation about next steps and viability of obtaining contracts sooner than later. Those who have been in this much longer than I (years rather than months) may see this as a cue to get more-aggressive with an even greater postion and 'new money' might come in as well. However with billions of shares out there STNKNG1 your deduction for a move to .0004-.0005 could be dead-on.

I don't think anyone has a clue where this will go when the FCC comes out next week. It sure will be fun to crank it up and start moving finally. The question for the PPS is what happens after the FCC. This approval is the doorway to wherever !!! IMO GLTA

How hard is it to buy a million shares of CNES? I've had a GTC order for a million shares at $0.0002 for over a week now and still hasn't been filled.

Lets say the contract does come. Those who are getting in are just doing it because of the news. Meaning they aren't like everyone here who is holding for huge % change. They will push the price up (Assuming them can after all the CD's that have been dumped) and once the selling starts everyone will sell out and that will be all. Bearclaw you seem to know alot about this company. Any idea what the current o/s is now since the last major run she had?

Pital... Somewhre in the area of 7.8 billion shares...give or take a few hundred million... Most longs are holding for contracts and significant revenue...A contract of 50,000 meters is break even as stated by Spigno in a monthly news letter several months ago...
Some daytraders will jump in if it moves...same as last time...also folks who have been frustrated waiting may also jump out... So there's no telling how this will act...just have to play it as it goes same as everyone else...IMO GLTA

At least you can get some of the stock so when it does run,you will be in.You most likely wont get in at .0002,so bite the bullet and get in before you miss out.

I agree, I have 3,350,000 shares. 1/2 were bought at .0004 and 1/2 were at .0003. cost me about $1200. well worth the risk for the possible reward.
If you were to buy 1M shares at .0003 for $300 bucks, its not much of a risk, worst case is you lose $300 with the chance to at least double your money. if you get in when news comes out, you might not be able to get in until .0005 or so, and if the news comes after hours, it will gap so high you will regret it.
I have been in this since Oct 05. its a no brainer. take care
