What were they approved for last year or earlier this year when the PPS went up and if they did have some sort of product that could have been put out, what happened to this. Sorry if this has been asked many times, I can't seem to find the answer to it.
Thanks
You may be speaking about the original approval on the single channel H-net wireless AMR device approved last year. It generated a lot of excitement, and well deserved. They've been working on it for years. They then went on to try and test the multi-channel version for FCC approval and discovered a glitch in the power supply?? They since fixed it.
The pps lost momentum and since CNES needed to secure extra funding for operations over the next segment of development they sat down at a board meeting and approved another 7.5 billion shares of stock.
They've promised not to use them unless absolutely necessary (CD's). Of course dilution will occur at that point if not already, but if things go smoothly in the next few months, we could be in for a 'big ride'. (Retirement of shares is also a possibility later.)
They've re-submitted approval for the H-net mult-channel device and that seemed to go off without a hitch last month (no increase in pps either), but now waiting on the basestation test approval by FCC, supposedly by Dec 17.
If that news is announced, speculation could run up again that contracts won't be far behind. Leaders of the company say that just one contract could make the company profitable. Multiple contracts with multiple electrical companies wanting to upgrade...., and we're all meeting in FIJI to retire. Ha!
CNES has recently signed a 3 year lease for buildings to house their basestation data retrieval equipment. Operations offices are separate. There were 10 or more contract proposals out there to various electricity comapanies, maybe more (6 mos ago), no word on progress.
They have a ongoing pilot program in Valencia, CA where they are centered and are talking about expanding it to gain more attention. The industry has been very cautious to endorse the product until it is proven... partly because of the past regulatory envirnment that hasn't worn off yet, and partly because of the enormous capital expenditures needed for retooling meters. It may also get resistance from meter reading employees of electrical facilities who would basically be displaced on a large scale when the technology is fully incorporated. (it elimenates physical drive by meter reading and supporting equipment)
Government legislators are pushing for new technologies in electrical meter reading devices and the political environment looks poised to embrace a good product. (H-net will be great! because it is the only real-time product so far)!!! Hopefully, patents on the design will give them enough of a head start against competing technology in order for them to get a good foot hold.
So,That's basically it, as I understand it. Other than that we are all just waiting for news. PR has been far and few inbetween. That in itself has given them a lot of credibility, as far as news releases goes, but has weighed on the impatience of others who want them to 'pump' up the stock price.
Hope that answers your question, because the 6000+ thread up last year with that awsome due diligence on it is all gone (it got cyber erased after bashers invaded). what's new?

Well that was a lot of helpful information. Thank you very much. Was the Single Channel device something that could have been marketed or is it just the multichannel that is going to be sold?

It (MR)sounds like the best to date!! I'll only buy more when they have a contract. Good luck to all in this game. The MR makes me believe, "it is a matter of when, and not if".

CNES has officially joined AMRA. As it is a largely respected association amongst utilities and industry leaders. Its membership represents more than 800 international utilities and corporations in gas, water and electric industries. http://www.amra-intl.org/

Wow, that last PR basically tells us again that it is only a matter of time. Legislation is looking to exclude almost all AMR technologies, CNES may be the only company that can meet the standards 2 years from now.

When I last spoke with the CEO in October he mentioned WITHIN 6 months they will make a PR with info related to contracts they have been working on,but that was all he could say. If anyone gets a chance, call the guy he is full info and is glad to share as much as he can. I hold full faith in this company, but I know that things of this nature takes time.

This is what gives CNES such explosive potential. There's still a lot of nay sayers though.
I'm liking some of the latest posts. Things are looking up. There's a kind of 'buzz' in the air..

B) The naysayers have nothing to say, this stock is just about time and patience (like any long hold), unless they go bankrupt before the technology gets some solid contracts. The only factor that really change anything are your entry point. The potential even at my high entry is x10000 or more. If I lose, I lose a few hundred bucks, but if I win the winnings can go past the millions. The naysayers have nothing on this one.

I sent Conectisys a e-mail this morning and they replied back to me already. Here is a copy and paste out of my e-mail box.
Brian,
Understand you concern but we do not release press unless we have substatial news.. The only thing that multiple press releases would do is make us look like we are playing with the pps. We do not want that. The reason it is so low is due to CD selling which is currently the companies only source of funding, this source will not let the stock breath at this time. If you believe in the product and its potential, you are on our team because we are in the same boat as you and we will not let this project go sideways. It has been over 10 years of R&D and over 20M just to get us where we are now. Though this is a slow period, we are on the verge of success in one way or another. We are straight forward, this stock is not going to move until we get rolling with contracts and pilots witch we are moving fast towards and getting closer every day... We will release news as true and substantial news is present.

Hello I am a investor and was wondering when we may see our next press release? I have talked with you in the past and you were very very helpful and informative. I feel that the lack of press releases has weekend the pps and feel that one would put a lot of investors minds at ease.

I wish that SEC would say CNES, but everyone is tight liped about the process.
Commission Approves Phase 1 of SCE’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure Development Program December 5, 2005
ROSEMEAD, Calif., Dec. 5, 2005—The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) has approved Southern California Edison’s (SCE) initial development of a next-generation electric meter, the first of a potential three-phased program to investigate, test, and deploy an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) for SCE’s 4.6 million customers.
Business requirements, technology feasibility, and cost/benefit analyses will be performed during the 18-month first phase. SCE has assembled an engineering team comprised of IBM, EnerNex and KEMA to help with the first phase and is also seeking input from providers of AMI technology.
The second phase will focus on final development activities, including field testing advanced metering solutions. After successful completion of development and CPUC authorization, full deployment of the company’s AMI program could begin in late 2009. SCE estimates it could take about four years to replace current meters with advanced ones.
“We’re developing a system to take advantage of available technologies to better serve our customers over the long term,” said Lynda Ziegler, SCE vice president for customer programs and services. “We want a solution that won’t be obsolete in a matter of a few years.”
An advanced metering infrastructure can reduce the costs of day-to-day utility operations, eliminate the need for employees to do work typically done manually in the field, provide real-time information on usage and pricing, communicate with “smart” devices such as thermostats and energy-management systems, continuously monitor service quality and distribution system performance, and provide customers with better information and service when they call with a problem.
“We want a meter that improves on the cost and performance of today’s solid-state meters,” said Paul De Martini, manager for SCE’s advanced metering program. “We want to be able to enable dynamic pricing and demand-response actions so that customers have more usage information, more pricing options, and more energy-management choices.”
Interested parties can visit www.sce.com/ami or contact De Martini at ami*sce.com.
