I think well know that this company has a design unlike anyone else out there. This month on their site, you will see a release in detail showing their design vs. everyone one of the "competition" . I have faith that this will be huge in the future.(6 months or so) I think it will creep up with every small press release and than explode on the first contract signed!!

Hello, one more thing to ease mind... Does the fcc give grants to scams? The fcc gave CNES two grants..One for the H-net metersystem and H-net basestation systems. I look at it like this, the fcc had the faith in them to give them the grants and work with them, because they have the knowledge to do this,I have the faith and time to invest into them as well.
As far as the future price????? Well, I have more faith in this company than I do right now in some of our oil stocks that we have been playing with.I say with a signed contract, a penny is not out of line and I think some of their comepetitors are in the $40 range. Not saying this will be there, but anything with their product, anything is possible.

Your probably right...why else would the review be taking so long...it just may very well be a technological concept unlike the rest. Think about it. jmo

AMEN I have the faith, but not the patience. Wait, I might have that too, since it has been a year ago I started buying this sliced bread maker. So after FCC approval I really hope they move forward, and not say,"now we are waiting on ANSI Certification"... Objective The test objective was to perform the certain Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and other electrical stress tests to certify the device on selected ANSI C12.20 tests. Additionally, a test from IEC 687 was also performed. Purpose To determine the performance of engineering samples of the meter, with respect to the requirements of ANSI C12.20-1998, the American National Standard for Electricity Meters, 0.2 and 0.5 Accuracy Classes.
Good Luck to you, and me, and all of us. P.S. Brian, your last name is not Spigno, is it?

I've been in this stock for the long haul also. When folks asked me in the spring what I saw as a future for the PPS....I was excited and impatient at first and had short term high hopes. After learning more about the industry my thinking changed ...so... My short answer was to invest and put the shares in a drawer until after Christmas and not worry about it. That's why a site was started called "CNES Long" for shareholders who committed for the long term. I had hoped it would move some so I could swing trade for more free shares but it hasn't with the exception of a couple minor small moves in the PPS. So, I continue to slowly accumulate more shares at the current PPS.
The demand for this technology is evident as described in the Energy Bill. It really is important to sit and read what the Federal Government wants nationally and how it relates to CNES if your holding long.
CNES is a very small company trying to find it's way in a huge marketplace with changes that the market is resistant to implementing. Anyone in this for the long haul has to also be appreciative of the time it will take to penetrate a market that is historically slow to make these changes. I think we are close to making a dent and am confident CNES will make an entry in the next 2-4 months. A significant penetration will take longer than that.,...so...patience is a real virtue with this stock...but...a virtue that may very well pay off...Just remember this is Pinks and you really never know...but I'm betting on the technology... EMO...

what would be a conservative estimate for this stock if it was to be successful? Would 10 cents be very conservative?

.10 seems high to me with the amount of shares outstanding right now. There would have to be quite a few contracts signed and revenues coming in to be that high.
However, .10 in a few years after some buybacks, etc doesn't seem out of the realm to me. ASSUMING they get a contract LOL
I'm still holding long. GHo

Who wants to call CNES to see if they know and are known by this company?
Announcements EnerNex Selected for Southern California Edison Advanced Meter Project Knoxville, Tenn. September 30, 2005 - EnerNex® Corporation has been awarded a contract from Southern California Edison (SCE) to provide consulting and systems engineering services related to their Advanced Integrated Meter (AIM) development initiative (http://www.sce.com/PowerandEnvironment/ami/).
EnerNex will be responsible for defining the product requirements, guiding design options, providing technical oversight and assisting in the management of the product development process through selection of a meter manufacturing supplier. EnerNex will be working alongside IBM and KEMA on this effort for SCE.
EnerNex personnel will apply their extensive electric power communications systems architecture and metering systems expertise to this effort. They will assist SCE staff in the development of relevant use cases necessary to ensure a requirements-driven design based on best industry systems engineering practices.
The company will also provide consulting services to the core meter design team, communications network technology assessment assistance, and meter design reviews; and will facilitate coordination with the OpenAMI, Intelligrid and GridWise organizations. EnerNex is heavily involved in the activities of these organizations and can efficiently facilitate bidirectional technology transfer between all parties.
According to Erich Gunther, EnerNex’s Chief Technology Officer, this project represents a seminal step forward for EnerNex in the area of advanced metering infrastructure: "This project will result in a state of the art, next generation, low cost advanced integrated meter that leverages the extensive background, experience and participation of our personnel in the development of communication and measurement protocols and standards."
An Advanced Integrated Meter is an electricity meter that has the capability to measure and record interval (at least hourly) data, and communicates it to a remote location such as a utility facility. The utility then uses the advanced metering system, which has the capability to accept data from one or more advanced meters, and processes the data into information on energy use. This can be used to support important activities such as demand response, emergency load control, outage notification and other applications to improve the reliability and usability of electric power infrastructure.
EnerNex Corporation provides engineering and consulting services, along with software solutions and customization, for energy producers, distributors, users, and research organizations. EnerNex offers these in the areas of electric power system studies and analysis, utility communication and automation, systems integration, and technology analysis and transfer. The company was established by Erich Gunther, Jeffrey Lamoree, and Robert Zavadil, who have more than 50 years of collective experience in the electric power industry and are all internationally recognized in their various areas of expertise. so if this was an established company, do you think .50 would be way out of the question or very much in the realm of possibility?

Play CNES like a "penny" (stock) until it's not a "penny" anymore. Then play it like a growth stock. When it's not a growth stock anymore, play it like it should be played.
This one's about to be fun again....

I guess we will all need patience. This was an E-Mail reply I received from EnerNex. I think SCE gives EnerNex a list of companies to evaluate, and to recommend who is best.
"As far as I know, this process has just begun and no decisions will be made on manufacturers until next year. Any information related to manufacturers will come from Southern California Edison. You can track the progress of this project at SCE’s web site at" http://www.sce.com/PowerandEnvironment/ami/

The following is the SCE Website listed above...
Advanced Metering Infrastructure Next Generation Metering System
What if your electric meter was much more than a meter. What if...
...your electric meter gave you both an incentive to save energy and helped you reduce energy costs without interrupting your life.
...your electric meter could communicate with your appliances to produce big energy and money savings.
...your electric meter helped the whole electric system operate more efficiently, reducing the chance of power emergencies, rolling blackouts and too-high wholesale electricity costs.
...your electric meter made it easier for you to keep track of your energy use so you could adjust your energy use, plan, budget and even pre-pay your electric bill.
At Southern California Edison, we know the next generation of electric meters could do all this and more. And we think it should. We think the meter should help us offer the best possible service to our customers at the most reasonable cost.
