fire The problem with the allstocks system is that the longer you are here and the more positive you post, the fewer stars you end up with . . . because you make the "bad guys" mad. So far, skunksyard has done a great job of "being positive" about Q so far and only "good guys" are awarding her stars. The bad guys have not found her yet. You both get the top rating in my system (BL Star Ratings), and no one can take that rating away but me. I like my system better.
P.S. to skunks. I called you "her". Am I correct, if you don't mind telling?

folks I've been watching VACM because it directly relates to QBID. They have a QTV production contract until the end of the year and they sold QTV the 143 films...this stock had no volume and the past couple of weeks it's been going up and down...I'm watching it for QTV further involvement, if any....and I did pick up some shares in VACM a few weeks ago....

ValCom video assets acquired
Pay-TV firm caters to gay community
By Eugene Tong, Staff Writer
VALENCIA -- A pay-television channel specializing in programs for the gay and lesbian community has acquired the video assets of a local entertainment company, officials said Tuesday. Q Television Network said it has finalized a deal with ValCom Inc. to purchase its 143-film video library. Officials said the nearly year-old, Palm Springs-based satellite channel intends to use the programs to raise revenue to grow its television content.
"We have worldwide rights to these films and will sell them in the domestic and international syndication marketplace," Frank Olsen, Q Television's president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. "Our goal is to always produce quality original programming for the (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender) community, and the revenues from the sale of these films will allow us to produce new shows."
The deal includes an undisclosed sum and contracts for additional production services for ValCom totaling in the millions, ValCom head Vince Vellardita said. Q Television officials said the films are expected to generate annual revenues in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
"We're all feeding each other and it's great synergy," Vellardita said. "Q Television is the 21st century, and the timing cannot be more right for what they're doing."
ValCom purchased the television movie and feature film library in August 2002, which includes such titles as "Final Justice," "Mr. Scarface," "Fear in the Night," "Project Kill" and "Beneath The Twelve Mile Reef."
Founded in Valencia, the studio and production services company has been struggling financially since its production subsidiary declared bankruptcy and was forced to sell most of its local studio assets in 2004. ValCom has since moved most of its operation to Las Vegas but still maintains an office and two studio leases here.
Vellardita said the company will complete the move to Las Vegas in the coming month.
ValCom posted a net loss of $746,000 over six months ending March 31, according to a May Securities and Exchange Commission filing. It also has a working capital deficiency of $838,000 and an accumulated deficit of $9.14 million, the filing said.

if I remember correctly VACM has 100mil a/s and 33mil or so in the float. It's an OTC. That's not enough shares for QTN to r/m into but I'm watching for any increase in shares on that stock...and also what activity they have with QTN. They could grow with QTN.....
QTN doesn't have to launch on Monday...but we can watch for it
also OBN Holdings like I mentioned before the parent company of Pod Channel was recently launched via Firestone per the 7/12 PR...so we can watch this connection also very closely

you can see by this communication that Firestone is looking to expand....and that was dated 4/1/05...and since then we've seen OBN Holdings announcing their launch from Firestone via Firestone 7/12 PR....and on the same date QTN as I posted earlier put out a PR on 7/12 about the POD CHANNEL launch and we see POD CHANNEL as i posted updated their schedule...we need to figure out how all these pieces of the puzzle fit together

skunks If you mean when you reply to someone's message, all I can tell you is how I do it (I hope someone can tell us both a better way): I click on the "reply" icon (quotes) at the top of the message, then edit out all but the comments I want to reply to. Sometimes takes a little time and sometimes I take out too much, including some of the symbols I need, but it usually works okay.

Skunk,
No, that's the way this forum is set up. A forum is set up to discuss a certin topic. Unlike the Q Forum and others, AllStocks and the Market Millionaires Investment Forum, each topic is set to discuss a certin stock. May not be the best format, but some like it better. It's kinda like a board except you have to see all posts in the thread.
A board (which you're used to ie Ihub, CBS, and RB)is set up to throw aot posts that are not orginaized and hard to keep track of a particular topic. The topics are pretty much in a section of "blurb". Kinda like everyone speaking at one time. That too is quite cumbersome to me as well, but at times it seems works.
Hope that helps.

To post without other stuff on your post go to the bottom of this page. On the left hand side you will see the words post reply. That will give you your own clean slate to do whatever you want with.

Skunk, the best way to view this forum is the way you're viewing it now. What I do (which requires the use of my memory), is to remember what page and where on that page you left off of. Can be very frustrating at times though. One can't miss a day here, otherwise one will be lost.

Skunks, regarding a post earlier, about all the links you are adding. You have my support in doing so, as I know this stuff is all pertinent to the subject at hand . Which is Q exposure,Q progress,Q coverage etc. And it is impressive, because they are doing exactly what a shareholder would hope they would do. They are getting right into the heart of this. Notice that a lot of these events that are real life stuff to gay people don't mention HEREtv, or logo when they are talking about who is on the scene. They are blowing those guys away.

qrocker I agree . . . too bad each post is not numbered on the page. That would really make it easier to refer back to. Hmmm . . . maybe allstocks can modify their system a little? I like this format better than the ones used by other forums, except for "losing" posts I want to re-read.
Bob Frey, what do you think? Any chance of allstocks adding a small "improvement" to a great format?

qrocker
I use a Mac, and have what are called "Stickies". I assume PCs have an equivalent. It's just like a sticky note, and stays open on your desktop. I suppose you could just use an open text document as well.
Anyway, I keep track of the threads I read. For instance, "Q 1053 79" means the last thing I read was the post at 10:53 on page 79. When I read more posts, I just double-click the 1053 and quickly type in the new time. Then I can move on to another thread.
Hope that helps somebody.
