madmoney welcome! Bottomliner, Noah thanks!! hey Rich735 lol!!!

ok now Q live used to be 7:30 to 10:00. The reason I watch this show so closely is because many of their newer folks showed up on this show and that was the 'red flag' for me to pay close attention to them......yvonne monet who is part of the WOW group was on there one night and I said hmmmmm wonder why, well read back on my post...there she is the dj for the newest show

http://www.qtelevision.com/site/Default.aspx?tabid=122

and they were blending in a show with Jackie Jett and Jackie Enx called Queer Edge....now that has spun off on it's own so Q live goes from 7:00 to 9:00 and Queer Edge goest from 9:00 to 10:00

now I focus all over everything Firestone does because IMO QTV started their new business plan with this PR from Firestone...

Firestone Communications Signs Q Television Network for Production and Network Origination Services

Agreement Further Diversifies Media Company, Creates New Jobs for North Texas

DALLAS / FORT WORTH - October 26, 2004 - Firestone Communications, Inc. (FCI) has signed Palm Springs, Calif.-based Q Television Network (Q TV) (Pink Sheets: QBID) to a long-term network origination and production agreement. Under terms of the agreement, FCI will make Q TV's programming available via FCI's uplink to the Intelsat America 7 satellite. FCI also will produce long-term Q TV programming, including a three-hour live weeknight block consisting of a talk show, news program and sports show, in addition to a biography series and various other programming. FCI is a privately held media and communications company based in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

The Q TV agreement illustrates the breadth of services and expertise that FCI offers television networks requiring full-service, network origination and production capabilities. Although based in California, Q TV sought a media and communications partner able to provide a state-of-the-art digital teleport for satellite uplink and master control, in addition to a fully functional creative and production facility and staff. FCI will produce and uplink Q TV's original programming and live broadcasts from its two on-site production and broadcast studios and master control facility. Q TV also will rely on FCI's creative team for branding services, including interstitial and promotions.

Due to the large scope of on-site program production services FCI will coordinate on behalf of Q TV, FCI is currently hiring additional production staff. Additionally, Q TV is casting acting talent from the Dallas/Fort Worth area to accommodate their programming needs.

"Firestone Communications' high-tech facility, full-service production capabilities and experienced leadership team provides our network with the expertise and reliability we need as our network expands into new markets across the country," said Frank Olsen, President and CEO of Q Television Network. "Firestone's facility provides all the services we need under one roof. We were looking for better ways to uplink our network and were pleased to learn about Firestone's diverse expertise and broad service offerings. Firestone provides an excellent environment for program production, origination and distribution due to the efficiencies found with their economies of scale."

FCI provides its clients with access to cable and satellite audiences with its 24/7 network origination facility. Origination is one of FCI's core services, providing master control and delivery of video programming using an optimal combination of high-performance fiber optic, satellite, Internet protocol, and conventional delivery methods to reach television, cable and satellite audiences.

"Our agreement with Q TV is a milestone event and further represents the wide range of services and expertise we provide television networks of all sizes and reach," said Leonard Firestone, Chairman and CEO of Firestone Communications. Michael Fletcher, President, of FCI added, "Signing Q TV for network origination and production services is a great example of how FCI can help companies manage costs without compromising quality of service. Our leadership team is comprised of industry veterans and our customers appreciate our hands-on approach to helping them achieve their objectives."

The addition of Q TV to FCI's client roster further exemplifies the customized package of services it provides to both commercial and corporate production companies. ¡Sorpresa!, FCI's own all-Spanish children's network, originates from the FCI facility and has carriage deals in place on Cablevision, Comcast, Cox, Time Warner Cable, and the National Cable TV Cooperative. America One Television Network relies on FCI for its master control play out and C-band satellite uplink services. America One is a 24-hour broadcast network that provides Western, equestrian, and homeland values programming to over 20 million households via 123 broadcast affiliate stations located in 40 states. The Sound Track Channel, an entertainment network now available in 40 countries, signed a 10-year network origination agreement through which FCI makes STC's programming available to U.S. and foreign cable operators via FCI's uplink to the Intelsat America 7 satellite.

The FCI Operations Center is an FCC-licensed earth station, with uplink digital master control, and automated trafficking systems. The C-band satellite uplink is capable of transmitting multiple signals, high-quality broadcast feeds and multiple stereo audio channels in a PowerVue Plus format. The Production Systems features Avid media composers, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Graphics After Effects System, 3DS Max 3D graphics, off-line editing systems and Betacam SX and Digital Betacam, Betacam SP, and other tape formats. Additionally, Firestone has installed Sea Change Media Servers, Sundance Automation equipment, and VCI STARS II+.

About Q Television Network:
A wholly-owned subsidiary of Triangle Multi Media, Q Television Network was organized to create and develop a network devoted to providing television programming for the gay and lesbian community. While the company expects much of its subscriber base to be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will attract many other segments of the viewing public. The company's programming will be available on a subscription basis to those desiring its programming. The network will broadcast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

Firestone Communications, Inc., is a privately held media company based in Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas. Fall is a great time for all this to come together. summer ratings are always low and that is when most networks show thier reruns. September October is always a sweeps race amongst the networks, Lets hope that we are part of the Sweeps race.

I can live with that. as far as moving to a new exchange, I dont expect that to happen until into the new year.

lets face it, Franks says no r/s. if he is to stick to that promise, then in order to get to a new exchange, we are going to need to move up in price. As we have seen this is not about to happen overnight, but once the reporting status happens, our price should shoot up rather quickly, but i still feel that the price is going to have to stabilize and sustain a certain pps for a set amount of time before we can make the move to a new exchange.

Slowly but surely i believe we will make that point, and im not in a hurry for that to happen. I know that i will be holding for a couple more years yet before i see the price i want to exit this thing. So dont expect to see the end of my posts any time soon. lol

P-T This is good news. Aug should be an interesting month.

and we can connect OBN Holdings (parent company of PODCHANNEL)...podchannel.com

http://www.obnholdings.com

with Firestone now with this PR off of Firestone's home page...

Firestone Communications Signs OBN Holdings For Satellite Uplink and Transmission Services

Multiyear agreement expands OBN Holdings presence in the U.S. market

DALLAS / FORT WORTH - April 5, 2005 - Firestone Communications, Inc., (FCI) has signed OBN Holdings, Inc., (OTCBB: OBNH) to a multiyear network origination agreement through which Firestone Communications will make OBN's programming available to U.S. cable operators and television stations via FCI's uplink to the Intelsat Americas 13 (IA-13) satellite.

The agreement with FCI increases OBN's programming reach which already is airing on a network of more than 100 U.S. television stations. OBN programming is available to 40 million households, and the agreement with FCI will help fuel additional growth.

"Moving our uplink and transmission operations to FCI's transponder on Intelsat Americas 13 is the logical next step as we expand our network's reach," said Roger Smith, President and CEO, OBN Holdings. "Partnering with FCI is a great fit for our long-term growth because FCI offers a cost-effective combination of a cutting-edge facility, the right technology and deep management experience."

Smith continued, "FCI has the experience and perspective of launching and running their own network, ¡SORPRESA!, which makes them a great fit for OBN Holdings. We have a large amount of programming available to distribute and a similar mentality, philosophy, and going-forward strategy in terms of growing a business."

The IA-13 is an appealing satellite for cable operators, and it puts OBN Holdings on a satellite which already carries popular channels including A&E, ¡SORPRESA!, The Soundtrack Channel, and The History Channel.

"As FCI's fifth network origination customer, OBN's decision to change providers and sign a long-term agreement with us reinforces the benefits that the FCI facility and our seasoned staff offer diverse media companies," said Michael G. Fletcher, President of Firestone Communications. "We provide advanced technology and deep management experience in a manner that allows our customers to manage costs without impacting the quality of their service. Networks can maximize their investment with FCI because we offer program production, origination and distribution services under one roof."

The Firestone Communications Operations Center is an FCC-licensed earth station, offering fully automated digital playback and uplink and satellite services. The C-Band digital satellite uplink transmits multiple signals and multiple stereo audio channels in a PowerVue Plus format. The Company also offers full production services featuring various high-end Avid editing suites, Final Cut Pro HD, Adobe Graphics, After Effects, 3DS Max 3D graphics, DVD and tape duplication, field and studio production on film, video, or digital formats, and live studio inserts and broadcasts. Additionally, Firestone provides clients access to SeaChange Media Clusters, Sundance FastBreak Automation, VCI STARS II+ Traffic System and world-wide connectivity via fiber.

OBN Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: OBNH), is a holding company for the wholly owned operating subsidiaries Omni Broadcasting Network, Inc., All Sports Television Network, Inc., Eclectic Entertainment, Inc., Products on Demand Channel, Inc., resulting in the company covering all major facets of the entertainment industry. B/L HAHAAA, I hear you. How many people can invest in those blue chip type stocks and really come out a big winner on a .50 cent increase unless your holding 100000 shares or something.

I saw those posts and meant to send you a "smiley" for your comments (so, better late than never [Big Grin] ).

Speaking of "high priced stocks", I have a good friend who tells me his $20-$50 stocks sometimes go up 50 cents in a day and laughs at my sub-penny investments. When I tell him I occasionally have doubled my money in a day, he lectures me on risk. But he's my daily entertainment.

Hey Skunks.

Good to see you here. I left the "other place" when all of the fiasco and power struggle was happening and haven't looked back. I was frequenting both but was much happier here already so it was easy to quite going back and stay here.

You will recognize quite a few of us for sure, even some of those you wish you didnt...

Anyway, glad to see you are here and bringing the DD in as always. Good people here. Other than a few exceptions pretty peaceful intelligent posts most days.

DIGDOUGH..I love to investigate...I was thinking Firestone was hanging around QTV a lot and maybe they were financing so I spent DAYS LOL! looking through the archives of the internet to see if Leonard Firestone was connected with the Firestone Tire Harvey Firestone family...and yup! I found he is...he's Harvey's great grandson...now I don't know that they are the financing people but I did think the money possibility could be there..here's the report I put together....(thrown together)

bingo! found the Leonard Firestone connection to Firestone Tire founder Harvey S. Firestone...

here we go:

Harvey had 5 sons and 1 daughter....

Harvey, Russell, Leonard, Raymond and Roger, and daughter Elizabeth.

son Leonard K. Firestone b.1907 (vintner).

"Mr. Firestone is the father of two sons Kimball C. and A. Brooks and a daughter
Lendy (Mrs. Darrell) Brown and also 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren."

now the connection

Summer weddings bring lovely memories

By Mary Rogers

Star-Telegram Staff Writer

Summer is the season of weddings, and there are a few that were so beautifully done that people are still talking about every lovely detail -- and then there was that unusual renewal of vows in Vegas, but more on that later.

When Nicole Hartsel married Leonard Firestone at Fort Worth's All Saints Episcopal Church, guests said every detail could have been a movie scene. Red trolley cars transported the wedding party from the hotel to the sanctuary. When the ceremony was over, a white horse-drawn carriage carried the bride and groom through the leafy twilight to River Crest Country Club, where guests waited by the pool.

Dinner was served inside, and every dinner napkin was tied with a satin ribbon imprinted with a message from the bride or groom in their own handwriting. Half said "With All that I am . . . Nicole," and the others read "To Love and to Cherish . . . Leonard."

"The attention to every detail was amazing," said Judy Shannon, who created the bride's wedding gown. Nicole, a Paschal graduate who went on to earn a Harvard MBA, wanted to wear her late mother's wedding dress, but the style needed updating. Judy snipped off the lace, bleached it and incorporated it into a new silk satin gown.

The most eligible bachelor in the crowd was Leonard's cousin, Andrew Firestone, whom everyone recognized from his reality TV role as "the bachelor."

Nicole is the daughter of Gerald Hartsel and the late Anne Marie Hartsel of Fort Worth. Leonard is the son of Laurie Firestone and Kimball Firestone.

Nicole and Leonard live in Fort Worth, where he is a media consultant for a cable network specializing in Spanish-language children's programming. She handles private equity investments.

and see where cousin Andrew is mentioned? well here's Andrew:

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/gossip/story/171998p-150026c.html

Is this a great country or what?: In the land of the free and the home of the brave,
anything is possible. So even 28-year-old "Bachelor" cad Andrew Firestone can dream of
future political office. "By 'the future' I don't mean the next couple of months.
I mean the next 10, 15 or 20 years," Firestone tells Us Weekly. "Political office
is earned. You have to have life experience." At least Andrew has a role model.
His Republican dad, Brooks Firestone, was just elected a county supervisor in
Santa Barbara, Calif.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
now my only one thought is....how old is this guy? cousin Andrew is 28.
http://rasenbergermedia.com/site/about_txt.html
and I'm not familiar with that Anime stuff but there is some of that Japanese programming on QTV which I'm thinking since Rasenberger is connected with the launch of Anime might be from there, not sure
well if QTV gets a PrideVision alignment it might be good news....it would be back to back coverage of both games....although Pride isn't televising them, someone else is (but only the open and closing ceremony)...so maybe QTV/Pride if aligned could get the middle...(the games!)...
I think this is new. There is a webcam link on Q Telvision website. It is right below the top banner. Looks like it is going to be used for the "opening ceremonies" in Portland, Maine. However, when I click the link I get a page that can't be loaded... anyone else?
Q Television Network Activities At CTAM Summit Are A Huge Success
CTAM Summit
PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 2005--Q Television Network (OTCBB Other: QBID), the first 24/7 premium network for the gay and lesbian community, announced today that their presence at this week's annual CTAM Summit in Philadelphia was a huge success for the network. The CTAM Summit broke all previous registration records with about 3500 cable TV programming and marketing executives in attendance at the Pennsylvania Convention Center from Sunday, July 24 through Tuesday, July 26th. This event provided the premium cable TV network with a unique opportunity to have direct access to the cable TV industry's top decision makers, all within one location.
"We wanted to make a good impression with cable operators at CTAM. I believe we were very successful. Cable operators can now see that Q Television is a player," said Frank Olsen, President, CEO and Founder of Q Television Network.
The network managed a series of meetings with key cable TV system operators about carriage of the network. These activities were supported by a dynamic print media campaign that dominated every trade publication, as well as an in-hotel room video presence. The promotional prominence on-site was topped off by the CTAM closing reception, sponsored by Q Television.
The network used this reception as a platform to kick off its 12-month countdown to its unprecedented live telecast coverage of Gay Games(R) VII from Chicago next July. At the reception Q Television Network brought the energy, passion and international flavor of Gay Games(R) VII to nearly 1000 of the attendees of CTAM Summit with an unforgettable celebration. The party -- which took place immediately after the closing session -- featured several of the network's on-air talent, a representative from the Gay Games, plus a booming and colorful "parade of athletes" to represent the Games' international participants, and a glamorous and celebrated "gender illusionist", or drag queen, who was carried by four muscle-bound gladiators in a gold "Q" sedan chair.
Cable industry guests also enjoyed viewing the world premiere of a special 4-minute video designed to give a preview of next year's groundbreaking coverage, which begins with the "Road to Gay Games(R) VII" series, which will feature the personal stories of individual athletes in training for next summer's Chicago Games. This series is hosted by Saskia Webber, former member of the 1999 World Cup Champion U.S. Women's National Soccer Team.
"We wanted to inform cable TV operators about the importance of these Games to their gay & lesbian subscribers. Premiering the video gave us the chance to introduce the industry to this world-class, sporting and cultural event, and to emphasize that QTN will be the first network ever to telecast the Games," said Joe Schramm, President of Schramm Sports & Entertainment, the New York agency responsible for developing the trade brand image and consumer marketing for the network.
As the official television network for Gay Games(R) VII, QTN will provide an unparalleled lineup of both live and packaged programming that not only takes viewers into the Olympic-style action, but also connects them with the hearts and personal stories of the participating athletes from all over the world. Next summer's Chicago games are a featured highlight of what has become a signature of the channel -- on-site live coverage of major events that are important to the gay and lesbian audience.
About Q Television:
This 24/7 premium television network is organized to create, develop and feature television programming for the gay and lesbian community, including live & interactive content every weeknight, plus sports, information and entertainment. While the company expects much of its subscriber base to be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will attract many other segments of the viewing public. The company's programming is available on a subscription basis to those desiring to subscribe. The network is telecast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Q Television Network is the official network of Gay Games(R) VII. The network is also ad-supported.
Cable industry guests also enjoyed viewing the world premiere of a special 4-minute video designed to give a preview of next year's groundbreaking coverage, which begins with the "Road to Gay Games(R) VII" series, which will feature the personal stories of individual athletes in training for next summer's Chicago Games. This series is hosted by Saskia Webber, former member of the 1999 World Cup Champion U.S. Women's National Soccer Team.
"We wanted to inform cable TV operators about the importance of these Games to their gay & lesbian subscribers. Premiering the video gave us the chance to introduce the industry to this world-class, sporting and cultural event, and to emphasize that QTN will be the first network ever to telecast the Games," said Joe Schramm, President of Schramm Sports & Entertainment, the New York agency responsible for developing the trade brand image and consumer marketing for the network.
As the official television network for Gay Games(R) VII, QTN will provide an unparalleled lineup of both live and packaged programming that not only takes viewers into the Olympic-style action, but also connects them with the hearts and personal stories of the participating athletes from all over the world. Next summer's Chicago games are a featured highlight of what has become a signature of the channel -- on-site live coverage of major events that are important to the gay and lesbian audience.
About Q Television:
This 24/7 premium television network is organized to create, develop and feature television programming for the gay and lesbian community, including live & interactive content every weeknight, plus sports, information and entertainment. While the company expects much of its subscriber base to be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will attract many other segments of the viewing public. The company's programming is available on a subscription basis to those desiring to subscribe. The network is telecast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Q Television Network is the official network of Gay Games(R) VII. The network is also ad-supported.
