Comcast has kept a small piece of New York, but the number one market still belongs chiefly to Cablevision and Time Warner. Time Warner has succeeded in consolidating most of Los Angeles, except for small pieces owned by Charter and Cox. Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston and San Francisco are in Comcast's hands, after it was able to boost Boston subs 10% following the Adelphia trades. Comcast, however, has exited Dallas, which Time Warner now shares with Cox and Charter.
Washington, DC, and Atlanta are also split markets: Comcast was able to grow in DC, but shares that market with Cox, while in Atlanta Comcast shares the DMA with Charter. In all, Comcast has approx. 10.6 mil. subs in the top 10 DMAs vs. the 3.9 mil. held by Time Warner.

Viewers Can Tune in for 24 Hours of Pride Celebrations as They Happen in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston and Honolulu
PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Jun 20, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Six cities, millions of people and one enormous nationwide Gay Pride celebration... As this year's Gay Pride festivities kick off in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, Houston and Honolulu, one thing will be strikingly different. Q Television Network (QTN) will capture it all LIVE with the first-ever, multi-city Gay Pride telecast. An unprecedented move, this expansive coverage will take television audiences right into the heart of America's gay and lesbian communities, giving them a larger voice than ever before.
"We are both delighted and proud to be the first and only network to give these events the exposure they deserve," said QTN President & CEO Frank Olsen. "This live telecast will not only provide some fabulous entertainment, but it will also help in uniting and energizing this country's GLBT communities."
Beginning Saturday, June 25, QTN subscribers will be able to tune in as anchors Jack E. Jett and Scott Withers get the party started live from San Francisco, the broadcast's hub city. Throughout the weekend, Jett and Withers will connect to on-the-scene hosts strategically positioned at Gay Pride hot-spots in each city, giving viewers virtual "backstage passes" to the crowds, special VIP guests, live musical acts and larger-than-life parades. As a bonus, QTN's coverage will also include exclusive, previously taped footage of the Berlin Christopher Street Pride Parade.
"What we're planning to deliver is truly the next best thing to physically being at the festivals in these six cities over the course of a single weekend," added Scott Withers, Host of "On Q Live."

So far they have another 30,000 who is in the process of hooking up to the Q.Frank said that this time next year the Q will be worth between 1 and 1.5 billion dollars at the low end. Frank wasnt to worried about Here-tv or Logo. He said that the two would help the Q in the long run. I asked Frank about the low PPS. He said that Knight and other trading agencies are still killing the Q.The stock is still being run down bye short selling and some naked short selling. They are working very hard to solve this but it takes forever because Q-is a pk stock with a dirty shell.Frank said the audit is just about over and in Mid July the paper work will be finished.Rene and Gary are in Europe working to get Q off the list.He said it was slow going but it will be done.I asked Frank where the PPS should be this time next year.He said that a number around .15-.25 was in sight if all goes with his plan.I told him that the Pr bull does more harm than good .He thanked me for telling his this.Frank also said that Q-live will transmitt from six cities at the same time soon=Atlanta,N.Y. I don't know about the validity of this account of events. I sent a copy of this to Richard at IR and his response was that he did not set up any tour as indicated.

Please note the times, this investor is for real, he mentioned the 6 cities thing before the actual PR came out. That means that we can expect to be off the German exchange within the month and probably through with the audit and at least doing pink sheet reporting by mid July.
Also note the decreased daily volumes. It would appear that fewer people are selling and that true accumulation is finally happening. I'm excited we were able to get to these levels, but still expect a shake before July 15th.
Lastly, the PRs were pissing me off, but then last week I realized something, Frank is releasing these PRs for the *viewers* not for the investors. It's not that he is ignoring us, it's that he wants the viewer demand to continue to build, and saying they are broadcasting live from all these events should get the GLBT crowd out to request the service. If we're at 15,000 more subscribers that means we've doubled in just 3 months time.
Couple this with the exposure the Q is getting and the idea that this stock will go for a short run is no longer appealing. I'm raising my exit price to a minimum of .067, with a good bulk of it into the .15 range. I now regret ever having a lower exit price.

An honest question for those bashing this stock: (Please answer this for those of us long to take you seriously) Why do you deem it necessary to comment on QBID? We don't comment on your stocks, do we? Do you really care who is invested in this stock?
I understand legitimate concerns, but many on here just say, "if you're in this stock Frankie the fraud is scamming you" and just leave it at that. Do you really think we are so dense as to take one-line responses and actually act on them?

Gay-themed TV channel in discussion to come to Triad
6-20-05
By Chris Coletta, Staff Writer News & Record
GREENSBORO — At least one TV channel aimed at the gay community soon could hit the Triad’s airwaves, network officials say — and others are likely to follow suit. Here! TV , a premium service that airs in 42 million households nationwide, is in negotiations with Time Warner Cable to bring its on-demand programming to the Greensboro area, said Karen Flischel, channel general manager .
The deal is in its earliest stages, Flischel said, and lacks a timetable.
But the entrance of Here! into a market with relatively few gay-themed programs — NBC’s “Will and Grace,” Bravo’s “Queer Eye ” and Showtime’s “Queer as Folk” and “The L Word” come to mind — would be a first for cable viewers in the Triad.
Local subscribers to satellite services Dish Network and DirecTV already can pay to get the channel’s programming.
Mark Harrid , a spokesman for Time Warner, said the cable carrier’s deal with Here! allows each division to choose whether to air the channel.
“It’s decided on locally,” he said. “The people of Greensboro would have a better sense of how to serve their people than us.”
But asking the people of Greensboro what they think just complicates the issue.
Supporters and detractors agree that no pay-TV channel is going to create a rift in the community. And nobody’s threatening to boycott a station they never have to watch.
The Rev. Scott Kidd, youth pastor at Willomore Baptist Church in Greensboro, said that while he finds homosexuality immoral, he’s not anti-gay. He just wants television to start airing pro-family shows again.
Here! isn’t helping, he said — and neither is MTV, HBO or any other channel with sexually explicit or violent shows, regardless of whether they include gay characters .
“I believe the big entertainment companies, like MTV and these that are so prevalent in today’s kids’ society, they don’t have any room to accept the traditional values that have been passed down,” Kidd said.
Gary Palmer agreed that TV has too much sex, violence and trashy programming. It’s getting out of hand, he said.
But he insists that it still doesn’t have enough people like him.
The co-chairman of the Greensboro chapter of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network says the culture wars have rendered many gays and lesbians invisible in society.
Palmer doesn’t think he’ll pay to watch Here! because he’s never paid for an on-demand show and sees no reason to start . But if it can help change hearts and minds, he said, he’s all for it.
“I’m not wanting to be some type of other, different thing,” he said. “Most (gays and lesbians) are just saying, 'Hey, let me be part of your community, part of your world.’”
That world could be opening up faster than most people think.
There’s Here!, of course. There’s also Q Television, a similar pay channel that airs gay-themed shows.
And then there’s Logo. Backed by MTV parent company Viacom, the basic cable network will launch in major metropolitan areas June 30.
The Triad is not one of the areas scheduled to debut the network, and Time Warner has no immediate plans to bring it to Greensboro.
“It’s probably more important for (Logo) to reach the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender community in Greensboro than for any other city,” said Damon Romine, entertainment media director for the national Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
Gays and lesbians in places such as New York have a sense of community, he said — a sense Here! or Logo could help to provide in the Triad.
