A buyback doesn't mean the price goes up necessarily. In fact, if the price doesn't go up after a buyback (and maybe news of one), it might suggest there is something unhealthy going on. The fact that there have been several buybacks, reported or not, and we haven't seen any rise in the pps does give some pause, wouldn't you say?
I'm just trying to be realistic. I do think Q has a chance to make some dough, but this does cause for concern...especially in the face of all these "fraud" allegations.

btw..I'm not saying I think they are frauds, just that they might be hiding something. (possibly something good that they want solidified before leaking out...but I think it might be something bad)..like they are not in as good of shape as they claim.

Richard, the IR guy, already emphasized that no r/s a few times. i guess you can check the q site for this. so no r/s, and i take their words for it (unless a take-over or reverse take-over taken place).

just wanted to let everyone know this will prob be my last post for a long time. i'll be in kuwait for four+ months. i won't be selling before i leave so hopefully when i get back we'll see more than a dollar a share. but i'd be happy with ten cents. good luck to you all.

Have fun in Kuwait airdoo. If you get a chance check out the MWR area by Doha if you haven't yet. I believe it is called the crystal palace or something like that. It was closed when I rotated out of theater but everyone said it was pretty cool. And good luck over there.

Maestro Thanks for the feedback. I don't agree that you are "just trying to be realistic." Sounds to me like you want to be "right" . . . no matter which way it goes. It's not what you say as much as how you say it. But I'm not a shrink, so only you know why you do and say what you do.
Your comments above support my theory: You said "I do think Q has a chance to make some dough, but this does cause for concern" . . . so which is it? You told us you own QBID stock and recently bought more, but you seem to have nagging doubts. Which causes me to ask, WHY DO YOU STILL OWN QBID SHARES?
Risk? Hell yes. Investing in any stock is a risk, no matter how blue chip that stock may be. But so is every other method of earning money, including farming (too much rain, too little rain), working for a major corporation that might downsize you, playing professional poker (the best hand does not always win), drilling for oil (not good when you hit a dry hole) and prostitution (hmm, kind of like drilling for oil).
Everything in life is risky . . . so we all have to determine our own risk tolerance. I still like the risk-reward ratio of QBID.
One more comment: What the hell do you mean by "especially in the face of all these "fraud" allegations"? What fraud allegations? Are you referring to comments from bashers and others who never do any DD but will listen to anyone who posts lies and accusations? Anyone can shout fraud and find an audience, because there always will be people too insecure to trust their own judgement. Are you one of those people?
Better check the laws of libel and slander. Repeating a lie is penalized just about the same as creating a lie.

airdoo You stay safe over there. And we will take care of the Q for you. I hope it is much higher than a dime when you get back, although I won't promise a dollar. Keep in touch if you can. At least check on the Q every chance you get. They have computers there . . . but they may operate on camel dung (just a joke, everyone, so please hold your comments). Good luck. I am buying shares and holding shares. Clearly, as you guess, that means it is worth the risk to me.
What bothers me is all of this blindly positive spin so many of you have on everything here. You make wild statements about how the stock is going to explode.
I'm invested because it is worth the risk, but what I am trying to say is that people need to be talking on this thread as if it is a risk, not as if it is a sure thing...which is how you are talking about it.

M22, everytime you post something here you are sending some kind of energy out with it. No one here is blindly talking as if this stock is a sure thing...many people here do, however, like to put out positive energy regarding this stock when they post, because they want this stock, and themselves, to be successful. Also, there is a ton, literally, of solid DD on this thread and all past QBID threads, so no one here is blind. Be sure you are aware of what kind of energy, positive or negative, that you send along with your posts and relax when it comes to other postings. It's hard to keep from getting excited if you've been watching this company grow for any length of time. GLTA and let's keep it real. GO Q!!!!

Except that QBID actually - 1) Has a product 2) Has customers 3) Is very out and open in the public, in fact, they are doing live shows *EVERY DAY*.
For a pink sheet stock, QBID is the least likely to be a pump and dump. Granted, I don't know about the legitimacy of the PRs that Frank releases, but this is clearly a legitimate company.
I highly doubt those afterhours sales we were seeing over the last month or so were buybacks though. I would say the O/S is currently around 7.6 billion. I explained why I thought this before in my analysis between QBID and SIRI.

17 x 18.... this is daytrader disgust with Frank & Company! I am holding on... not happily, but I am holding! If 17 gets hit, we very well may see LOW teens or triple zeros.....
I hope that Frank gives us something soon, else this train ride will be getting ugly! The bashers are loving this and will be coming out of every little crack and crevice now!

Well, those that want to sell at .0016-.0017 is good. Because I have a large buy at that price. Strictly looking at TA, it shows that pressure is bulding but hasn't been reached. More then likely it will drop a couple more digits unless some great news comes out to meet these pressures. Thats what the charts show and they have worked on this stock quiet well in the past. It will be at least another week IMO but the rubber band is tightening. Me and BigT called this the last time and its playing out the same why. So don't be to concerned about it dropping a couple more digits because market forces say it will before it can run. JMHO

The POD distribution started June 1st. QBID and Frank have not released the new subscription numbers. If you guys are sending Richard emails, it should be about this. No one (at least me, anyway) gives two chits about how many times they are going to say they are buying back shares. I *do* care about the Products on Demand broadcasting numbers.
It was a potential 16 million subscribers, so where is the estimated 80K(.5%) that I estimated would sign up? You'd think QBID would be busting at the seams to release this info, but they aren't. So I can only guess they haven't gotten the numbers, or Frank is holding the info to give his buddies a chance to buy shares before the stock moves.
It's not that ludicrous to assume they at least doubled their 15K subscribers (16K is only .1% of the 16 million potential) is it? Maybe someone should be releasing PRs about *THAT* stuff.
I'm starting to be yet another upset long-term investor. But ironically, not because they are pumping and dumping, but because it would seem that they are purposely holding good news in an effort to keep the PPS ridiculously low. And to be frank, I'm pretty pissed off about it.
Can anyone confirm or deny they are actually on POD?

IMHO, I think Frank has PR's triggered to fire off when the stock taps .0017. MMs are just shorting hard to get a few stop losses before they let it go. This *always* happens before a sizeable run. look at the last one.
