http://www.nasdaq.com/services/riskMetrics.stm?&tickers=qbid,plni,wftv,ican,osft,cmkx

These are all the ones that have a rating. The others didn't even make the scale.

Very interseting - I wouldn't be suprised if Clear Channel has made an offer or are strongly looking at buying QTN.
They buy up everything they can media and advertising related.

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate your efforts.

But I only asked the question to get U4's definition since it appears
1) he doesn't know what a forward split is, OR
2) he thinks it is a bad thing, OR
3) he wants us to believe it is a bad thing, OR
4) he is just spreading his bullsh*t thinner and thinner to get more coverage.

I've been away most of the day and am just catching up on today's posts.

Looks like it was another solid day. Tomorrow should be interesting.

well the thing is i was reading this pr again.

the pr states that it will be made available to POD on June 1st. and The programming will be seen by 16 million potential viewers with all stations having the option of running Q Television programming beginning on June 1, 2005
not necessarily going to run it. they have the option to run it.

i can not find a website for POD to check to see if there is anything available to confirm.

it may take a couple of weeks for us to see anything from this POD deal.

i think that we will have other news before we hear from this one.

thier databases get updated between 2-5 am pacific time so buy morning if they have updated thier licence again, then it should show up by tomorrow morning.

if not all it means is they are late and will pay a penalty for being late.

Thanks Rod, I used to work up in Federal Way, there aren't too many places they can be really. I am glad this hasn't ran yet. The longer the price stays down the more I get. I sure would like to get back over at least a million again. [Big Grin]

Does anyone know if the presentation Frank was going to give at The University of California-Riverside yesterday ever took place?

If someone has time duing the day, maybe they can look into it.
Here is the original link.

Or can someone maybe sugarcoat an excuse why it didn't happen.
I'm not bashing, I bought more on Tuesday myself.

I'll state this again for the naysayers:

QBID is not affected by LOGO in a negative way. The reason why is mainly a perceptual one. QBID has been around longer than even the idea of LOGO. One of QBID's biggest problems has been signing carriers. Specifically, because their channel approaches gay lifestyle issues.

LOGO changes this, they are just going straight for gay movies and shock programming. But they are huge, so carriers will agree to carry them. This only works to QBID's benefit, because Q Television will be able to offer a more mature and civil channel that resonates with the heart of gays nationwide.

A similar comparison can be made with the umpteen different Latin channels. You've got the 24 hour latin game shows, 24 hour latin news, 24 hours latin sports, and 24 hours latin soap operas. There's like 15 different Spanish TV channels in the US. And that's only for the fastest growing minority group in the US. If there can be 15 of them, I see no reason why there cannot be three gay tv channels, hereTV, LOGO, and Q Television, in the US.

The question isn't whether or not LOGO will hurt Q Television. There's plenty of room for another gay channel, especially one that caters more to the bisexual/straight crowd like LOGO intends to do. The question is, "Is LOGO going to make Q Television's job of finding carriers EASIER?"

Someone was asking about Franks lecture last night. My brother attended. He was the only stockholder there. Frank talked to University students about responsibility, respect and the giving back to life. He didnot talk about Q. My brother has been to Q in Palm Springs 7 times but this was his first meeting with Frank. My brother was very impressed with the man, especially when Frank talked about being a Foster Parent to 19 kids all of whom were abused. I believe we have the right dedicated man at the helm. I'm on Orlando and plan to meet with the Q people here for the GayDays.
