Hi everyone. Nothing but good news lately. Tomorrow is June! Let's see what Frank has in store for us this month. =)

IMHO, preliminary result from POD broadcasting tomorrow will be in on Thursday or Friday. The announcement of a political contributor, and one with such high clout, is going to be huge for subscriptions. Think about it. LOGO hasn't even talked about the political/social aspects of being gay. That's the "meat" of what gays want to hear. I hate to say it cause I'm usually the rational one, but this is huge.
I expect we see maybe at most one more buyback. If even that.

well my theory is that they want the buyback done before the POD deal is verified and starts to raise the pps. that starts tomorrow so in my theory today was the end of it.
and that final big after hour trade of 239 million shares may have been the last chunk they needed to complete the job.
we will see what tomorrow brings. lets hope that all our research and addition and pieces of the puzzle that we have put together turn out to be true.
just a thought. LOGO starts in 3 weeks. How long would it take for Q to start broadcasting under the LOGO name if a buy out was announced tomorrow?

What if Frank has made yet another sale to Viacom. This would not be his first sale to them.

I don't think he will sell to Viacom until he has made sure that Q is a living entity that can withstand right-wing pressure without sacrificing its identity. Viacom hasn't proven anything yet. Just look at how their Infinty division has caved in on its support of its own Howard Stern show. The show has been cut to shreds due to threats of fines. JMHO.
BTW, anybody have an estimate on the number of shares believed to be bought back so far. I have heard from 1-2 Billion to 6-8 Billion. I am now confused.

Frank wants to buy back his stock and he has a set amount of money and a defined amount of shares that he can afford with that money. he needs to buy that set amount of shares to reach his goal. the mms job is to keep the price stable while Frank buys back his shares.
with the amount that he is buying, the price would rise without the mm's manipulation, and thus cause Frank to not be able to buy back the shares that are needed to accomplish his goals.
if you look back a couple weeks ago, the price jumped to .003 and all of a sudden the buyback activity after the bell stopped for 4 business days, till the MM's where able to bring the price back down to .002 at which point the buyback continued. then last week we closed at .0022 one day and the buyback activity did not occur that day either. once the price came back down to the .0020-.0021 area again the buyback continued yet again.
so to answer your question, Frank does not want the price to move up till the buyback is done. Plain and simple, market manipulation.
anyone that thinks that Frank does not have control of the pps is dead wrong. the mm's don't care where the price is as they make thier money on the spread, weather is is .0020-.0021 or .0099-.0100 they make the same amount of money per transaction.
now with that said, this is a good thing, as the cheaper is stays the more they can take off the street. the more they take off the street, the harder it is to get available shares and thus the price moved up.
its a matter of time and patience and this whole thing will fall into place.
we have been able to calculate what the buyback shares are going to be each night buy the days volume at 3:50 pm. and we have seen them buy up the 25% that they are allowed each night from April 29th till now except for the 5 nights where the price was not in the right range for the buyback.
we can see where they have bought back in the 2 billion share range.
this is all good news in my opinion.
they are setting up a party with Clear channel. they have something that they want to celebrate.
we are poised for an exciting month and hopefully my calculations are correct in stating that May 31 should finish up the buyback.
If that is so, then in the next couple of days we should see the after market activity stop and the pps will start to head north again. It may take a dip to the .0017 area like it did after the last buyback did and launch from there.
this is my honest opinion, and i feel that these statements are correct, However please do not buy or sell based on my posts, do the DD and do it well. make your own decisions. It is your money you are playing with and you want to be certain that you are going to keep it that way.

We maybe giving Frank Olsen too much credit as him been able to manipulate the pps through the MMs to this degree. I do understand that the pinks are pretty much lawless but to hold the pps in this manner for a buyback just seems unreal after Frank and Rene both stated on the CC that they do not have control over the pps. The simple fact that they are done in AH is a big red flag. Secondly, they are not influencing the pps in any way. Thirdly, we know that as pissed off some of the longs are they are not selling that many shares. So we come to the questions where are these shares coming from? There are only 2 options. IMO, the holder of the 6 bb restricted shares has agreed to surrender their shares for future profits or any other arrangement and these shares are being retired. The other option is that Frank is retiring more of his personal shares. Then the question comes what happens when he retires a bunch of shares and loses his 53% ownership in Q? Well, I can assure you there is a third party involved here..whether it is a consortium of private investors, a carrier taking stake in Q, or a merger with another GLBT network it remains to be seen. I do not think the SEC would let Frank get by with holding the pps in such a range for so long without getting involved. Q must have provided some explanation in a form of a filing to the SEC for all this activity to be going on without someone getting involved..............

Good post! I think you're right about the longs not selling. So where are those shares coming from and who's buying?
Just suppose for the sake of argument Frank is doing exactly what he said and buying. Furthermore you might be right, it might just be the restricted shares. That would sure as hell explain the volume as well as why the price doesn't move. I wouldn't be mad. Not one little bit!

So much for freedom of speach. Everyone thought burocrats where bad. The church is worse in some cases. Hope no one takes it personally but I am going to compare them to the KKK. The good thing is African Americans came through that era and the KKK have moved on to something else as will the churches. When they realize the GLBT era can not be beat, they will find someone else to bother.

sbc and verizon are blurring the lines between the broadcast media content available now. they are able to compete with cable on access to subscribers and have the broadband capabilty infrastructure already established. no reason they can't broadcast content from network providers--the q, for instance. jmho

I am sitting here at work trying to come up with an excuse to go home. Co-workers say, "no, you don't look sick"...."didn't know your dog was pregnant, thought she was a he!"...."son is not sick at school, school's out, remember!!" Oh well, I guess I can't go home just to watch what happens. Sooooo, once again, I have to ask for your help FROM ANYONE in our Q family to keep me afloat on what is happening. I can pull up bigcharts, but there is a delay. If I was home, I'd have realtime streamer on...something, as you all know, I'm too afraid here to put on my work computer! I'm down on bended knee now; LET ME SEE SOME DIGITS, PLEASE!!!!!....about an every 1/2 hour update will make my stomach feel better. Good luck to all of us.
