again nothing more then pure BS.
I read the post. first of all it that was a pr from business wire, it would have been posted here already, whether it was good or bad. we all have our news screeners running all the time. well at least i do, and i get an alert on my cell phone as soon as anything comes out on any of the news wires. I have not received any alerts this weekend.
but after reading it there are to many grammatical errors and stupid things like forgetting to capitalize May in the date.
nothing to worry about.

I agree that such dishonesty should be punished, but I doubt if any official agency will do it, even if they had the time and manpower. So, I guess it's up to us to protect each other. Thanks to all the posters who caught the errors in this "PR" and quickly alerted us that it was bogus.
This should teach us a lesson (one we should know already) . . . NEVER believe anything you read on a message board. Message boards and chat rooms should be used only as starting points for our own extensive DD.

heres an interesting post of QBIDs past failed launches, PRs, etc in the last 5 or 6 years. notice how alot of the PRs are recycled from the year 2000 have been released once again in 2004 and 2005.

This could be the biggest week for Q Television thus far. Just putting my casual "best of luck" out to everyone. I'm hoping for the best. It sure would be nice to take some time off this summer if we get a good run out of QBID.
I feel the need to put this out there. We're all used to missed deadlines. If you still have faith in Q now then why get upset over another missed deadline if it comes? I would be worried about missed deadlines if it seemed they were lying to us about happenings in the company. Several investors on these boards have given us very concrete evidence that QTN is doing great things. All it takes is some time and patience. I have no doubt I shall see a great pay day sometime in the future.
You have to look at the possibilities. If you're complaining about missed deadlines then you're failing to recognize what they very easily could give us. Famous celebrity hosts could do huge things for the pps just like Elvis did to SPEA. Then consider the little information we know about how much of a buyback is being completed. Is your glass half empty of half full? I like to think im topping mine off so I don't have to bother asking that question.
A clear way to explain my thought process is that we don't have any news coming out that is negative. As long as they're taking steps towards progress then I am willing to give them the time they need. No worries. Matt

so until they get off the pinks they are not going to be able to prove this to the carriers.
at the very least they have to start reporting so that thier business plan can bee seen and they can be judged by the carriers.
it costs a carrier a lot of money to set up a channel for carriage, and they want to make sure they can recoup their costs of doing so. a couple months and then the company goes under serves them nothing but headaches, and lost revenue.
I truly believe that we will be off the pinks very very soon.
the fact that the buyback is going on is big evidence to me that they are in a hurry to get it done.
the wording in the pr about the buy back was that they are going to "begin immediately an aggressive buyback of our shares" is evident in the aftermarket sales we have been seeing over the last month, and Fridays display showed us a very aggressive buyback.
they are close to 1.5 billion bought back already is my feeling and they are almost done this round. I stated at the beginning of this that with the money they have and the price they are buying back at, that i felt the buyback would take till may 31 and that they would buyback roughly 1.44 billion. It appears that we have hit that number and have gone beyond. Which would indicate that they have some more money that they have thrown at this effort.
at the end of the day after all is said and done, this company is setting itself up for a major success in my honest opinion.
We have seen more forward movement in this company since January 1 st this year then we have in the 6 years prior to that. this it the final push to success, they are just now breaking the crest of the hill, the struggle is almost over and the momentum is going to pick up just on the other side of that crest. I believe we are beyond the point where Frank can screw this up now.
As my buddy Whiz always said, "All we ever had to do was launch" now it is a matter of time, and i believe that most of the time has gone by now.
Frank is not about to fail on this. He is going to succeed or die trying. I myself am confident enough in him to give him the room to do his job. After all this is not his first start-up network but it is mine. I feel he knows what he is doing and he is impressing a lot of brass in the decision making seats of the big carriers. He has the content, he has the right people, he has the right timing, and most of all he has an understanding of what the GLBT community wants as he and his team are part of that community.

Is it sounding like Frank has been doing more buy backs than we know about? I would be beside myself if he bought back 1/2 of that total. If it did happen then I hope they are getting retired.

nice to see that it is making people think and talk about what they think.
as i was typing that message it was getting longer and longer. I figured at one point no one will read this far into the message and that is when i abruptly ended the message.
if i knew that it was going to get that kind of response i may have given it a little thought on the ending. i was just dropping my thought on the keyboard and it flowed a lot nicer then i thought it would. I'm usually not that good at getting my exact thoughts down to type.

let me clearify. I have a small portion that is set to sell around a penny. my core postitions is not going to be sold till we hit a dollar or Franks sells us at .38 whichever comes first.
the small portion that i am selling in the penny area is money that it never intended on investing in this, but couldnt resist the urge to gain 500 % in the near term on it. If it doesnt happen i cant see me loosing anythign on it as i bought in with that money at .0019 and .0020
it is my first little attempt at a swing trade.
but for that core possition it will be there till one of the 2 qualifiers are filled above.

My core position was bought at .0004 in early Feb 04! I've held it this long with no sweat. I'm looking for a buck unless Frank sells first.
Whenever Frank sells, and he will sell, I will liquidate 90% of what I hold & keep 10% just to see what happens.
