All 10.75 million of mine is in at .0022, so I think I am in low enough to have no worries.

Good luck to all.

Brought to you from Skunksyard at IHUB:

Q TELEVISION TOP-LEVEL SPONSOR FOR PRIDE ~ network supports Atlanta with flying colors
ATLANTA, (June 3, 2005) -- The Atlanta Pride Committee (APC) has announced Q Television Network as the top level "Rainbow" sponsor for the 2005 Atlanta Pride Festival, June 24-26. Rainbow level sponsors are those who contribute $50,000 and above.

"They will begin their broadcast in the Atlanta market sometime in June," says Donna Narducci, APC executive director. "So being at Atlanta Pride made good business sense, in addition to the fact that it's the largest Pride event in the South East."

Atlanta is one of only five cities selected by the Q Television Network to receive sponsorship dollars. Those other five cities include Boston, New York City, Chicago, Houston and San Francisco.

Boston, New York City and San Francisco are the only cities receiving Q Television at this time, although negotiations to carry the network are underway in Atlanta. Once approved, subscriptions will allow customers to receive the channel via either satellite or cable.

Q Television will make its first visit to Atlanta on June 7-10 to film its show "On Q Live" from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Joe's on Juniper. The 2 ½-hour live talk show airs every day and covers various topics of interest to the LBGT community.

Atlanta Pride Festival attendees can visit the Q Television booth in the market at Piedmont Park and will also be able to see its float in the parade as well as commercials on the video screen of the Coca Cola stage. The second entertainment stage at the festival has been named the Q Television stage and the network will have exclusive broadcasting rights for the festival.

"How amazing that for our 35th Anniversary Pride celebration we have Q Television Network as the top level sponsor of our event," says Narducci. "Thirty-five years ago, the police were raiding gay bars and arresting people for associating with each other as homosexuals, now we have our own television station dedicated to the LGBT community. Wow! That's progress!"

# # #

Atlanta Pride Committee
The Atlanta Pride Committee produces the annual festival and parade at Piedmont Park, attracting as many as 300, 000 participants from the greater Atlanta area and neighboring states. Held this year on June 24-26, the celebration commemorates the Stonewall riots in New York City that launched the modern GLBT rights movement. The Atlanta Pride festival it is the largest of its kind in the Southeast and one of the largest in the country. More information can be found at <www.atlantapride.org >.

2005 Sponsors
This year's sponsors include: Coca Cola, Delta Air Lines, BellSouth, Labrys Atlanta Magazine, Instinct Magazine, Southern Voice / David Magazine, Hewlett Packard, Atlanta Gay Pages, Sheraton Midtown Atlanta Hotel, Einstein's Restaurant, Esurance, and Smirnoff Twist, Bud Light, Q Television Network.

So, RCN is not in Atlanta. Far be it from me to be reasonable, BUT. . . . Why would Q just waste a large chunk of cash in Atlanta if they don't plan to have a presence there. . .and soon.

O.K. everyone, did some DD and some checking. The address that was listed on the business license isn't a real address. The address I did find that most closely matched it was 28609 14th ave S. NOT 14TH AVE SW. No big deal there really, half the pizza places that deliver have me living at 5th Ave E and the other half have me living at 5th Ave CT E. Addresses can be funky like that here in south Puget Sound. Anyway, back to the address. The address is a house in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It is for rent right now. I am going to try and have a realator friend look up who the owner of the property is. It could have been an employees house or maybe one of Franks. It is in a realatively high rent area of Federal Way. I have a picture of the house if anyone wants to see it [Big Grin] Just gotta figure out how to get it inot a post.

If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all.

Does POD broadcast to Atlanta? That must be what she's talking about. Either that or something big is going on. Does anyone have the list of places where POD goes?

This is interesting. I have a link to an aerial photo of that property, I wonder if this is the same house, and what's the connection.

http://www.terraserver.microsoft.com/image.aspx?t=4&s=8&Lon=-122.35277128&Lat=47.27916708&Alon=-122.35277128&Alat=47.27916708&w=1&opt=0&addr=14th+Ave+SW%2c+Federal+Way%2c+WA+98023& qs=28609+14th+Av.+SW%7cFederal+Way%7cWashington%7c

I looked up those Palm Spring addresses awhile back, both were not very far from eachother near the airport.

So, was the business license renewed? Does anyone know?

From DoubleK on IHUB!!!!

Okay, along Fifth Avenue on each street corner there's
a banner announcing the Gay Pride parade on June 26th;
underneath the heading there's a sponser on each banner:
Washington Mutual, Delta, American Air Lines,YMCA...
QTelevision is featured on the banner that hangs on
the corner of 25th and Fifth Avenue.
I did take digital photos of the banner but unfortunately
I can't upload them to this post; I need to upload it first to
a website and then provide the link to you; but I don't have
a website.
Sorry...

With help from Q friends...
Here's the link to the photos:

All this coverage, now get it on TV so that all can enjoy. In order to suceed "Q" needs to get us a carrier, I believe that they have carriers, just need to "get it on", all this programming will not work unless the masses can tune in on their cable [Big Grin]

Long, strong, holding and accumulating.

This is interesting someone on IHIB pointed out that if you check the yahoo chart for QBID.PK it only shows the 1d and the 5 day charts, the 1 year and the 2 year charts are gone. Some on IHUB are speculating that this only happens prior to a symbol change...it may just be a simple malfunction..I guess we will see.

Wendy, I am still wondering when/if you will be carrying the “Q” programming soon. I really would like to see it broadcast in Canada soon. The last time we did an e-mail thing, you indicated that the encoder was set up but that you were still not getting a signal, has that situation changed ?

I hope that all is well with you.
