With its new name to be determined, previously named Good Morning Gay America will air the week of 6/1/05 and be produced by Toria Tolley. The show will be shot on location in Atlanta, Dallas and Palm Springs. Q's management will update more specifically in the coming weeks.
This deadline is coming up FAST! I hope they meet it... it would be nice to know who will be the host(s)?!?

we have exclusive rights for this event that is only 4 weeks away. we have a carrier agreement pending imho. lets think about this for a second. if you have the rights to give, you would want the most coverage that you could possibly get, right? well here has a large audience, so does LOGO, right now we have 3 cities. why would they give it to us? my guess is we are going to have a hole pile more viewers come the first couple weeks of June.
we have a pr coming from the Pride vision deal as well. they are the only Canadian channel, and why bother with the Canadian rights unless you plan on using them.
June is going to rock and roll boys and girls. I'm getting my seat belt fastened and putting on my helmet, this is going to be a wicked ride.
Gettem while you still can boys and girls.

I agree with you 100%. The other angle to look at if YOU were a biz owner would you deal with a company that may not be around to comeplete your deal? Would you deal with a company that did not have the demographic you were looking for?
I smell something cooking, and DAMN does it smell GOOD!
I have a theory on the low PPS - take it for what it is worth:
1. The CPA firm told Frank "You need to get the public float way down to X # of shares" before we can take you to Boston, or OTCBB. 2. Release PR's that will not spike the $ but hold it still while buyback happens. 3. During all this final arrangements with carriers is happening but closed lips till buyback is complete. 4. Some type of PrideTV deal has happened, bought it ouright? selling them content? something happened.
It's all speculation and reading between the lines .

IMO its not speculation, we have been talking about this for the past month or so. It's just a matter of time before they do tell us all

Should be interesting at allstocks tonight. I keep reading the last PRs to find the negatives that someone surely will point out to us . . . but damn . . . I don't see them. Sure, I have questions . . . and sure, I wish there were more details . . . and sure, I wish Frank would send me a personal note and let me know what is going on . . . but Christmas doesn't come sooner if you whine and whimper, so I will wait patiently and be surprised.
By the way, I think Christmas is coming a lot earlier this year . . . like June?

buckwheat That's my point . . . I don't see any negatives in most of the QBID PRs . . . but I know there are some posters who will try to convince us that these last PRs are negative and should be ignored. I was being satirical. I am long and strong on QBID. And I know you are too.

Ya I know, I was just joking with you, only because I agree with you 100% that there is no negative to the PR However what the PR does do is raise some questions, such as Pride deal and a bunch of other goodies we have been speculating on for the past couple of months. Maybe I should not say "raised questions" but actually give us another couple of pieces to the puzzle. I think the puzzle is almost complete and the picture is becoming clearer by the day.

The word on the streets of NYC is the gay community resents the commercialization of gay lifestyle. Even shows like queer eye and will and grace are looked down on. Those shows are for str8 people. LOGO will meet much resistance, whereas Q will be embraced. Carriers will have to work with Q, because they will not get this market otherwise. This is a major reason why I have invested in Q.

I think that you are right, as long as they don't start airing programs that stereotype the community they should be fine.
I am wondering what tomorrow will bring, no buyback activity today.
GO QBID!!!!!

Once Q Television is recognized throughout the world (yes, that's right - the world) by the gay community, I'd imagine that the network would be in such great demand that we will see a PPS well over a dollar. Unfortunately, most will probably sell before then, but I don't see how that price is unrealistic looking into the future.
Does anyone disagree?

Q is still a best kept secret. Just wait until 10% of the population gets wind of this. This isn’t just a channel; it is a cause and Frank’s Dream. I think a huge number of people will rally behind this channel. I think most people underestimate how big this will become, even on this board. Q won’t need anyone to buy them. I doubt anyone can afford to buy them anyway. Make no mistake; there is no channel like this out there. This is still a snowball at the top of a huge mountain… it is about to roll…

It all depends on how much they've bought back and plan on retiring. From what I've heard I'm not expecting a massive amount to have been bought back. There is certainly a lot of strange trading going on with Q however.
I can't help but day dream about Q acting similar to SIRI if they can reduce the O/S that much with buybacks. Current statistics about SIRI from yahoo! finance.
Shares Outstanding: 1.32B Float: 1.31B
I'll have to look into why their float is such a large portion of their O/S. Things could really get interesting if Frank made the float as large proportionally to SIRI's if he retired much of his position.
The companies are similar though. They both provide entertainment media to only those that want it. Both are charging customers a monthly fee. Although SIRI has a larger target population, everyone, they only have 1 million or so subscribers. I see no reason why we can't get 1 million subscribers as well.
It all either depends on how much the O/S has been reduced by and then how much interest we get from other investors. If we only have 6000 investors now, I'm sure increasing that to 100,000 would move the PPS towards 1.00 no matter how many O/S there are. Once we become the hot button on msnbc, cnn, etc, then things will be too hot to handle. Hold on for as long as you can. IMO..hehe. Matt

my best estimates from what i have seen it that htey have bought back between 1.2 -1.5 billion shares in the last month. this is a very aggressive pace. the last buyback of a billion shares took them over 4 months to complete.
earlier in the month when they first anounced the buyback, at the rate that they where buying at, I calculated that ti would take them till the end of the month to buyback 1 billion shares. that was when they where buying 50 million a day. they very quickly got up to 80 - 100 million a day. they averaged about 80 million a day for the month of may so far. 18 days times 80 million adds up to 1.44 billion.
i have added room for error in my calculations and 1 to 1.2 billion is probably very very close.

these buy backs have been done in the past. hope you guys do realize this buyback is worthless, when the outstanding share count is unknown and on top on that, QBID is authorized to sell up to 50 billion shares.
