Oxygen Channel: I just checked their listings and the Paid Programming does not start until 300AM on May 12 2005. The paid programming runs from 300AM to 530AM PST

Thanks, Rod. your analysis made more sense. if the mms wanna inflate more volume, they could trade among themselves for one or two days; not 4-5 days in a row. besides, the volume fit in the 25% rule.

Did anyone see the infomercial on Oxygen? I'm afraid I wasn't up (3:30 AM Central time). From the posts on another board, It sounds like it was on. It's amazing how many of Q's investors cannot figure out how time zones work. Yikes!

I was at work, just got home, and I didn't try taping it this time. I also heard some people didn't see it, but some that did said it was nice. Also, if you have Direct TV you would have seen it. I have Comcast, so not sure if Oxygen would have it or not. So far I heard people who have Direct have seen it. I would love to know if Comcast has it. I am also central time, but last time they were to be on Oxygen, I thought it was 4:30 am cst, Not 3:30. I will have to look into this.

I will try and set up Tivo to record a few hours of Oxygen in the early am and see what I get. I doubt it conflicts withanything but maybe some of my kids stuff so I will have to see.
Also, Rod, and the other riddlemaster sceptics like myself... did you see this?

All I can say is he needs to pass the bong. I ran it through some anagram decoders, a few other cryptology methods, I know another that yanked the vowels and played with it a while.
Its as nonsensical as some of the post of here lately from shlik or whatever that new alias is here. Busy busy week for me so I doubt I can play with it much, but I know my boss will sit in his office and mess with it while we do the real work.
I bet my workload doubles when he reads this post too!

When does everybody expect the next run on QBID. I played Q months ago with the original run, but have been holding about 2 mil shares. I haven't really watched it that much, but do we see anything in the future here? Done some research and it looks like the usual stuff.

My realistic guess is mid/late June, but a lot of people, including myself believe something is brewing that may be sooner than that.
There are a lot of issues unresolved on the table right now and any of them could cause an unsustained run up, a few of them could cause more.
But I will say that any personal friends and family that have asked and shown interest in buying some stock my answer is "always expect to double what you put in within the next few months and if nothing huge happens by June Gay Games in 06 then sell it off and walk away"

i have also been holding for quite some time now and i think this will run again,and hard. as for when? its anybodys guess.some things that would move it. 1. main stream media attention. 2. additional carriers. 3.large verified buyback. 3.large reduction in authorized shares.4. completed audit. 5. move to another exchange. hope to see all of the above soon. GLTA... keep the faith!!

Which takes me back to #3. Frank and co knows what we think or are posting as numbers and I am betting we are way off, hence they are buying stuff up quickly before any PRs related to audit numbers happen.

thanks for the feedback,i am and will continue to be a very strong beleiver in qbid. all numbers matter in this game,# subs, # carriers, # authorized/outstanding, # sponsors ect.. everthing is comming together nicely its only a matter of time, and not much more, in my opinion. one day soon this will start running, it will blow through the 028 mark and keep going and i WILL be holding when that happens. GLTA... resistance is futile success is inevitable!!!

Good morning fellow "Qbiddians" and members of the "Qmillion" club. I was able to pick up a couple more mil shares with some profits from PLNI. Still holding lots of PLNI and will convert to Q at some point.
It looks like it will be a steady day with a bit of green in our forecast.

You're right. $.028 is not too high assuming we get around 150,000 subscribers. I'm thinking an AKOL-like (Look at the last 3 months, btw, this might even run again!) jump to .07 or higher and then a fall back down to support at .028 to .025. (However, if they are reporting, we're going to know exactly how much they should be worth)
There's 260 million people in the US, assuming 7% gay (using the lowest statistic) that's 18.2 million gays. I think it's relatively safe to say that not every one of them is going to subscribe, but then you have gays and transgenders, so you'll have to assume that all in all, there's a target US audience of 18.2 million. That's not including the straight men/women that support gay rights.
Then you take out maybe half because they don't own cable or satellite or even watch TV and you get a respectable 9 million potential subscribers who are looking for a target price that will work with them. If Frank keeps that at seven bucks per month, we're still only going to hit maybe a target of 150,000 subscribers. but if they are each paying seven bucks that's a lot. Still, I think a $4.95 channel might pick up an extra 100,000 subscribers (They are no doubt doing surveys/research on this now) so we might see a price drop just so they can get QTelevision into more gay households.
Maybe I'm wrong though, maybe they will end up with 400,000 subscribers. If that's the case though, then we'd all be insane to sell at anything less than $.10.

Yeah I had to pop to .0022 and it filled almost immediately after sitting on the .0021 order all morning. A little closer to 2 mill now.
I could have gotten the 2 mill today but FOT called VNBT and it looked good so I went that way for some possibly quick money. At least to break even and keep the free ones and go buy more Q. Plus PHBT keeps threatening to jump and cant seem to get up out of the wheelchair. I need more Q funds!!!!! lol

I'm not. I picked %7 because that is of the population that in one report by a conservative source, so likely the lowest. Something on 365gay.com in 2002 indicated that as many as 18% of people were gay and quoted a gallop poll that I can't find. I think they are both inaccurate. I find it likely that 12% of the population is gay or trangendered. I also think that maybe up to 18% would include those who consider themselves "bi". (Which means some of the investors here are gay/bi but probably still in the closet about it, and I respect that) Something along the lines of 1 in 5 gay people know someone else who is gay in their extended family, I don't know how to draw a statistic out of that, but it's worth noting.
As for true numbers - Q has a lot of room for improvement. They need some good marketing folks, and they need time. LOGO will doubtfully make a dent in this thing, simply because LOGO is too "mainstreamish" and just plans to play movies and pretty dull shows. But they'll break the ice and QBID will be able to finally get the carriers they need.
Nothing against Frank himself, but as some posters stated in the past, certain things need to happen so that QBID survives if he were to pass away. Naming a successor and giving them the reins for a lot of the carrier talks would be a good step in the right direction.
He may have many good years left in his life, but he needs to find someone that can, on a second's notice, hop on a plane and go out to meet a potential carrier or advertiser. Someone that can network well and get people talking about Q as if LOGO was used as a ruse so that people wouldn't see Q step out of the shadows and establish itself as the dominant station in the US.
hereTV has broken some ground, but it's got the same problems LOGO has. LOGO has the conservative backlash against it, and Q will just float on through and no one will even notice a thing. They need some star power too. They certainly have the potential, they just need more coverage.

Logo Unveils New Shows by 365Gay.com Entertainment
A reality series following one man's decision to come out as he opens a new gay bar, a global travel show and an on-the-road look at the Annual AIDS/Lifecycle ride will all launch on Logo, the new LGBT network from MTV.
The announcement of original reality series Open Bar ; the Out & About travel series; and the multi-part documentary The Ride (all working titles) was made in New York by Brian Graden, President, MTV Networks Entertainment; and President, Logo.
"These new series for Logo all explore similar themes of a community expanding its definitions and quite literally being on the move," said Graden. "Whether it's part of the internal journey found in Open Bar or a trip across country or around the globe, these shows are entertaining takes on personal empowerment within the LGBT experience."
Logo will launch June 30 and provide a mix of original and acquired entertainment programming. Already it has lined up more than 200 LGBT themed movies and diverse original series.
Open Bar: This new series follows one man's personal decision to come out as gay to family and friends, told against the backdrop of his work to open a new gay bar in West Hollywood. From the ground breaking to the grand opening, Open Bar tracks the entrepreneurial owner as he channels the building of a successful business into his own process of coming out. It will be produced by Trio Films from Los Angeles.
Out & About: With gays and lesbians two-to-three times more likely than other demo groups to travel, Logo is launching a show designed just for their adventurous tastes. Out & About is a globe-trotting travel magazine series that ditches the usual sites and well-worn paths to seek out the entertaining and little-known alternatives in one international location each week.
With interviews with some of the gay personalities in each destination, Out & About features travel tips on each visited city and profiles local businesses, artists, restaurants, clubs and boutique hotels.
Featured destinations include Stockholm, Hong Kong, Mykonos, Paris, Berlin, Miami and Sydney, Australia. It comes from DemonAngel Productions of Australia.
The Ride: Logo celebrates this year's AIDS/Lifecycle 4 with a multi-part documentary capturing the determination and joy that's all part of The Ride, a first-person look at some of the cyclists who travel an unbelievable 585 miles in seven days from San Francisco to Los Angeles to fight HIV & AIDS.
Seeing it through the eyes of individuals among the massive alliance of more than 2000 gay and straight participants, The Ride focuses on what drives all of them to train and go the distance on their personal, emotional journeys.
Held this year from June 5-11, AIDS/Lifecycle 4 benefits the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, raising awareness about HIV & AIDS and money to help continue to provide the critical services and education needed to meet the growing needs of facing and fighting the disease.
The Ride is produced by Stone & Company Entertainment from Los Angeles.
Logo says it has more than one thousand hours of programming content in the can and ready to go. It has assembled a huge library from the majors to the independents, including HBO's Emmy Award-winning Angels in America, Mulholland, Drive, Kissing Jessica Stein, High Art, Philadelphia, Latter Days, Far from Heaven, A Home at the End of the World, Six Degrees of Separation, Chuck and Buck and Fried Green Tomatoes.
In addition it will run Patrik-Ian Polk's Noah's Arc, a scripted comedy-drama series based on the web phenomenon.
The show follows struggling screenwriter Noah, an African-American gay man navigating love and life in Los Angeles with his three best friends; and First Comes Love , a comedy/reality series from Canada hosted by actor/comedian Scott Thompson ( Kids in the Hall ) who has to fulfill the wedding dreams of gay and lesbian couples in just two weeks.
Logo says it already has signed up approximately 10 million subscribers across the U.S.
