Something from the other side related to the buyback counts. [Smile] He really did call the 5/9 million buybacks before they started back hard and heavy last week. So he either knew what was up or had caught on before we did to the EOD stuff and just got lucky.

I told the 9 mil buy back blocks will be coming fast and furious. Add them up over the last 50 days and you have over 3 billion shares.

As somewhat of a mixed situation, LOGO and it's carriers/advertisers is/will encounter pressure from Christian and similar organizations that do not want their channel on the regular cable lineup. Our advantage is that being a pay service we are not available to the public, you have to choose to see us. So in essence, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. At least for now..

Good point. But I find it more likely that they settled and Frank apologized. If Frank doesn't say something this week on the investor relations page about the Oxygen lawsuit that EVERYONE knows about, then we'll see this hit .0015, IMHO.

That's wholly incorrect. If you think all 16 million RCN receivers are going to all buy Q Television, you're insane. That's why they say "up to" 16 million and not "16 million". It'll most likely be about 150,000 homes. Yes, that's only a tenfold increase.

Be reasonable. You guys are starting to sound like pumpers again. Which means that I'm going to post sound posts and you're going to keep giving me 1 star ratings cause you're upset I'm not pumping.

Personally I do not believe the 16 million number Frank is throwing around is related to RCN. I could be wrong but the last few months when it has been mentioned he has not ever said (to my recollection) that RCN will have Q in 16 million homes. He just says that Q will make that mark.

IF it was related to RCN I would be with you 100% and screaming at Frank for saying imbecilic things again, but I think RCN is major small potatoes to what is going on behind the scenes right now.

The 16 million is not with RCN....

PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 30, 2005--Q Television Network, (Pink Sheets: QBID - News) announced today that it has reached an agreement with Products On Demand Channel Inc. (POD) to make Q Television's signature programming available to 107 stations. The programming will be seen by 16 million potential viewers with all stations having the option of running Q Television programming beginning on June 1, 2005.

Q Television programming will be shown 2 hours daily in an effort to continue the national interest shown by carriers as well as potential subscribers. The signature programs available to be shown in its entirety are Q Television's incredibly popular, "Q on the Move." and "In Foqus", two programs that are suitable to be shown on an unscrambled basis.

"We are thrilled that our programming will be available nationwide. Our agreement is with POD, and they will make the shows available to 107 stations in the demographic areas which we have listed below," said Frank Olsen, President and CEO of Q Television Network. "We have an obligation to the G/L community outside the RCN area and now our potential subscribers can view what they have only been able to hear about. We are confident that we will be available indefinitely in all towns very soon," added Olsen.

You guys are getting way to lazy! This took me five sec to find..

First, let's assume Frank's health is fine. We have no reason to believe otherwise.

And Frank is not over-the-hill at age 70. Many people work well into their 80s and seem to thrive on hard work. Colonel Sanders founded what became KFC when he was 65 and worked until age 90 (died of leukemia, not "old age"), Kirk Kirkorian is still going strong at age 87, Warren Buffet is still the Sage of Omaha at age 75. So, don't worry about Frank's age. We all go when it's our time, and sitting in an easy chair doesn't seem to extend anyone's lifespan.

I also believe Frank is smart enough to surround himself with good people (many news reports have indicated that). I don't know if Renee is the next in line . . . but I am confident that there is a "second in command" who can continue moving QBID forward if anything happens to Frank.

But I certainly hope nothing does happen to him. He's earned the chance to see his dream come true.

Frank, appeared to be healthy in his interview. Apart from the fact the he was a bit nervous that is all that I could pick up. In no apparent distress what so ever.

Given that he has a hx of Diabetes and now doubt some respiratory concerns from working in those bars for all those years; even if he was not a smoker (which he was) the second hand smoke would give anyone breathing problems.

If I were his PCP my only suggestion for him would be to loose a few pounds. From what I have seen of him he has good mobility and as they say he is a sharp as a tack.

Once again the only thing that I saw was he was very nervous, but wouldn't you.

In any case a leader is only as good as the people he surrounds himself with, and there is no doubt that Frank has some very qualified people around him.

Frank you are looking great, keep up the good work the dream is moving forward and soon we will all be banking some $$$ [Big Grin]

GO QBID!!!!!! Bring On The Green.

With all due respect, Bottomliner, Frank is 70, he is clearly clinically obese and obviously short of breath in the Marketwatch video. While I wish him many, many successful years to come, I am uncertain that his body will sustain him. I don't think he's over-the-hill because he's 70 and I don't think my concern is unfounded.

Also with all due respect . . . I don't see the purpose of your original post. You've expressed your opinion that you are concerned about Frank's health, and you certainly are welcome to express any opinion. But such comments could create negativity about QBID (such as "Someone said Frank is sick . . . better sell my shares quick.")

Not trying to fight with you . . . I just want to see my QBID shares increase in value and unsupported negatives get in the way of my quest for riches.

Hope you have the same goals.

Bottomliner, my original post was to note viability concerns and ask who was next in command. I always thought succession planning was key to future success. I don't think what you perceive as negative was unsupported. Let's move on...

That is not 16 million viewers guaranteed or even estimated. That's how high it can go, emphasis on POTENTIAL and having the option. I think everyone should realize that by now, yet we still get people quoting 16 million, like QBID could actually go from 15,000 viewers to 16 million.

Yet you guys let LEO get away with saying this:

quote:
She said Logo will begin in 10 million homes, a significant percentage of the roughly 45 million homes with digital service. Logo isn't trying to reach analog homes...
quote:
When LOGO launches Q Television will already have six million more viewers in place!
They should pick a much more reasonable number, like ten times current viewership, 150,000. But even I have a feeling the demand for Q might be over-hyped, so we'll be lucky to get there. Still, at 150,000, viewers at 7 bucks/pop, that's $1.05 million per month in revenue.

Now, take that $1.05 million and buy back 477 million shares at the current price, and you just ate what people say would be maybe a seventh of the float in one month. Then this thing would finally be trading in about the .02 to .03 range again.

I wish he'd quit talking about and releasing PRs about getting audited and just freaking audit. Do any of you (including the bashers) know where I can find out exactly how long it takes to get filed with the SEC and/or audited?

Another thing that irks me: none of you attack the bashers with direct arguments. A "basher" posts that QBID is actually SELLING shares after the close to deal with the costs of the Oxygen lawsuit I find that less likely than they just settled (but then maybe they are paying for the costs of settling). Instead, you all resort to ad hominem attacks, claim they are other bashers without direct evidence, and let others on the forum make gross mistatements.

Here's a link from AllStocks that indicates what kinds of stocks to stay away from. From their definition, QBID fits the bill for "RUN AWAY":
http://www.allstocks.com/copia/html/the_basics_of_otcbb.html

quote:
And if the company does not report their financials to the SEC. . .RUN AWAY. Don't even consider them, because they will surely rip you off any way that they can. And if they SAY that they will soon be reporting their "audited" financials. . .run even faster. . .this means they have NO INTENTION of filing with the SEC. And even if they say "we will be filing with the SEC" or even "we HAVE submitted our financials to the SEC." DON'T BELIEVE THEM.
New investors: Understand the risks involved. You are betting on a hunch. There's a lot of GOOD reasons to be in QBID, but don't let any rumors from this thread or others like it convince you, do your own research.

looks like i've started yet another debate. forgive me please. i noticed frank's heavy breathin and obvious obesity and made a couple of comments. i don't think he is going to kick the bucket anytime soon. but he is the image of Q and he may turn off some people from investing. you know people might be like "wow if this is how he takes care of his body how does he take care of his company?" i meant no harm with my original post. and i don't think 4Tune4ME is being overly negative either. i think frank is doing a great job and i hope he sticks around for a while to see his dream come to fruition.

Not trying to fight with you . . . just trying to determine if we share the same goals regarding QBID. You say you refuse to PUMP QBID. I hope that also means you refuse to BASH QBID.

I define a QBID PUMPER as someone who posts untrue positive comments and represents them as fact and a QBID BASHER as someone who posts untrue negative comments and represents them as fact.

Both are liars. Both are bad. Both should be punished in some way (low star ratings are not enough).

However, posting positive opinions about a stock does not make someone a PUMPER . . . and posting negative opinions about a stock does not make someone a BASHER.

If you don't get many stars, it may be because most shareowners prefer to hear positives about their investments. It's just human nature.

And I do not agree with you about people with 1-star ratings being "among the most sound posters in QBID threads". The statement is too general to be acceptable because many total liars are included in that group (and in every other star group).

I agree. But it's tough knowing who your "friends" really are. This board is like a Poker game. You have to assume everyone is trying to get rich at your expense . . . and that they will lie (bluff), cheat and steal from you if you let them. But when the game is over, you buy them a beer and talk about the next game.

5/10/2005 - RE: Marketwatch Interview

Please watch Frank Olsen in an exclusive interview on CBS Marketwatch.

5/10/2005 - From Frank

Dear Shareholders,

I would like to address all of the owners of QBID. First, things are going very well and although there are many items I cannot discuss because of confidentiality agreements, we are confident that we will make each and every one of you proud to be a shareholder. We are well beyond our estimated target with both discussions that our team is having with carriers and our internal restructure to have QTelevision fully reporting. Our network is a first of its kind and it's very important to have all its components in place to achieve complete success. The approach we've taken in being a 24X7 network will represent the GLBT community best. Our business plan has not veered and we know that this approach is more difficult than VOD, but ultimately it is the right choice. That said, all of the underlying components must continue to be in place for the large growth we are experiencing. All of the press releases we have disseminated have been to inform the investors of what we have been doing. We feel the investors should always be aware of our day to day activities and I understand that some investors have shown dismay due to some missed deadlines, but these deadlines are made to the best of our ability. Careful analysis goes into each release, but there are many variables that go into these contractual agreements and when legal departments take longer than expected or a key person involved is removed from the project, etc. this delays the negotiation. What is important for all of you to understand is in the end, all of these press releases will have come together exactly the way we intended it.

We have assembled the most sought after team in the country. Cathy Rasenberger, Carol Hinnant and Rubenstein Associates, Inc. are the "Dream Team" any new network could ask for. We have assembled this team to lead our company towards securing carriage, to continue subscriber growth in all areas and effectively hand over the responsibilities to our senior management once completed. We must show the industry that our network is viable, can produce revenue and justifies the limited bandwidth these MSO's have - our team is doing exactly that.

Our management team has internally been getting our company poised for the significant growth that will be coming shortly. We are working diligently on getting QTelevision fully reporting so both our individual investors as well as the institutions can better gauge their investment. Our company is fully funded until break even, 2008.

Again, I would like to thank the investors for sharing the same dream we've had for many years.

Frank
