you are absolutely correct. he is buying the maximum that he is allowed to buy back everyday since the announcement. he is definitely in a hurry to get this done. nice to see the volume up today.

the higher the volume the more he can buy, I'm not complaining even if it does go below .002 the lower it goes the more they can buy back, the more volume the quicker it gets done.

the quicker it gets done, the quicker we get the good news that has sparked the company to do this buyback. think about it, he is buying back because there is something good coming. no one soaks that kinda cash into a dieing company. they soak it into a company that is about to soar.

am i worried? not at all, the only disappointment is that i don't have 10 grand to gamble on this one.

i would dump it on here in a heartbeat.

I wish I had 10 grand to put on Q to Rod!

A couple of questions here. How long do you think Q has been buying shares back? And how many do you think they want? 1 bil 2?

Yes Rich, I liked the interview. I am actually more excited about Australia and backing through 2008.
Frank looked good but was nervous. That's OK he is front page Market Watch news.

I agree, Frank seemed nervous BUT, this is good practice for him, talking about the Q in interviews...soon he'll be giving interviews on shows like Squawk Box and Jim Kramer's mad money and he'll be sounding polished.

At least they're playing by the rules.

Thanks, Penny-Trader for posting those rules on page 10. For once, we can actually see what's going on behind the scenes. Very cool.

We know that Frank has been holding off releasing any large PR, he is in the middle of a major buyback. IMO he is using the equipment budget which is in the range of $3-5 million for this buy back.

We have to remember that Frank is also in this to make money, so it stands to reason that he get the buyback done at a low PPS. When he finishes the buyback, then we get major PR's and the PPS will get us to the bank. Frank is planning on making a bundle on this and there is no doubt that the longs will also benefit $$$$,

Go QBID!!!!! The Green Is On The Way [Big Grin]
Long, strong, holding and accumulating.

I'm curious. If several people on here own 5 million or so, and the O/S is getting bought back down to 5 billion, with half owned by frank, that means we might have some future board members on the forums. So who wants to run for a spot first? I'll throw a 500,000+ share vote for you if you got some good ideas. (Like Australia, that's an AWESOME idea considering the ratio of straight/bi/gay there)

quote:
also I wish hereTV was public.. I would think whatever they trader at we wouldn't be far behide and it would get more investors in the Q..
hereTV and LOGO are so similar, I don't know if they'd have any effect in increasing or decreasing the PPS of QBID. Pridevision's OUTTv might, though.

QBID- Triangle Multi Media -9.09%
MM's exchanging large numbers of shares low at the closing bell so that Frank can buy large numbers of shares back? Or maybe someone didn't like the interview. [Razz]

also no mention of advertiser income. so the numbers are still a mystery. but they are advertising so there has to be some income there that we have no idea what it is .

First gay channel to launch 'by autumn'
Ben Townley and Christopher Curtis
Friday 1 April, 2005 11:52 | More from this date | Today's headlines

The UK's first gay-specific channel could be launched as early as this autumn, according to the company behind it.

Faze TV bosses have made a formal announcement of the channel's proposed launch date to media industry bible Broadcast magazine.

It is expected to follow along the same lines of similar channels in France and Canada, combining informative content with lifestyle and entertainment programmes.

Speaking to Gay.com, spokesperson David Bouchier said the details were still being finalised but viewers can expect a range of programmes tailored to the lesbian and gay market.

He said lesbian and gay people can expect the channel to be fully revealed in the near future.

Faze TV would be the first lesbian and gay channel in the country; previously only gay programmes have existed on mainstream and subscription broadcasters.

In the trade announcement to Broadcast magazine, Bouchier also said the UK's lesbian and gay community were an "important niche audience".

The channel will be subscription and is likely to appear on Sky digital.

Meanwhile, Canada's PrideVision, the world's first LGBT television network, is set to expand.

USA-based Q Television Network is in talks to purchase the network, with the two companies announcing they signed a letter of intent to consider joint programming yesterday.

Q Television Network's president and CEO, Frank Olsen, said, "I feel this is the first step in a long relationship between the two networks."

"This also shows how committed Q Television and its executives are at making LGBT televisions [sic] succeed for the queer communities," Olsen added in a press release.

Meanwhile, PrideVision will begin offering pornographic programming around the clock on April 7 while spinning off its lifestyle programming to a different channel, which will be named OUTtv.

The content of Q Television currently consists of purchased programs and original content, which is filmed in Fort Worth, Texas. Q Television is available in half a dozen US markets

Q Television is being talked about in the UK [Big Grin]
