Frank wants to sell this company. He will do this with in the next couple of years. He will not accept .10 a share! Basically that means he will have to get this thing tuned up & polished. My DD tells me the smartest way for him to lower OS is buybacks. Frank's smart. Obvious conclusion, Buyback is happening now.

Rich735, I have never had any doubts about Q being successful. I have been a TarHeel fan since 1957 when they beat Kansas for the Title. Raymond Felton's Mom works at the same Hospital that Mrs. Ricardo works at. Cool, Great Family values. Just heard a rumor from my son that Coach Odom, (Gamecocks) is headed to Virginia. Maybe we get Tubby back or maybe Bobby Knight. Would that be cool or what, having Spurrier and Knight. Have a BIG Q day Amigo Ricardo

Ricardo I live in Illinois and didn't attend the school, but I am a Fighting Illini fan and this should be a great game. Orange all the way. Whiz, I really hope Frank is buying back, would be great in a pr that he bought back a huge chunk. I am long and really feel this will work, just how high the pps can go is the question. If Frank isn't buying back, then I will be very dissapointed.

XXXXXX,
As you know, they purchased a building last year. Since then, they have struck a deal to create programming in Dallas at Firestone’s studios. If or when they begin filming in PS, only time will tell. The studios in Dallas are very advanced and anything they would build in PS would be sub-par to Dallas.

Richard,
Can you please let me know where Q Television is in regard to the building of a Palm Springs studio? This information was in a 9/16/2004 press release and was supposed to be completed January 2005.
They do request “real names” etc. so no need for you to apply!
• I owned 17-gay bars, a hotel, and was a big part in the creation of Showtime.
You’re correct here. He had no part in the creation of Showtime. It was The Movie Channel!
“Olsen, an entrepreneur with a significant background in broadcast, was instrumental in the launch of The Movie Channel prior to its acquisition by Showtime. A pioneer in the development of new radio broadcast formats throughout his 40-year career, Olsen helped create African American radio and started the first gay radio stations.”

• 12-10-04 - Q Television Network announced today that the company has completed its repurchase of company stock. (no proof for shareholders)
The company stated is was complete. What proof do you expect? If you wanted to see SEC Filings you never should have invested in the company. Or at least you should have known you’d not see filings before investing in this particular company.

3/7/2005 - RE: Seattle
As many of you know, QTelevision signed an agreement with an independent television channel in Seattle. That Seattle station's digital feed is pulled from a much larger carrier and that carrier requests to view all content prior to it being aired on this independent television station. That said, the parent carrier has shown interest in The QTelevision Network and QTelevison's management has been discussing alternatives to possibly broadcast on a much larger platform via the parent carrier. QTelevison is speaking to all necessary parties and will report to you as soon as talks have finished. http://www.qtelevision.com/main/investorinfo.asp
• 36-hour corporate seminar in Fort Worth, Texas to address Q Television's programming, goals, and management structure. (any updates?)
3/3/2005 - RE: 2/15/05 Press Release
Highlights of Corporate Seminar
The seminar held in Texas was deemed a great success by all that attended. The open forum meetings were divided into many topics and everyone from senior management, sales, network, talent and support was there. The goal of the 36 hour conference was to address the current climate of the company, discuss future goals and repair past mistakes.
Internal Communication - Create a new internal structure to better communicate with senior, middle management and support staff. The company's main focus will entail enhancing better software management solutions.
Meet & Greet - Senior management, sales and support met and interacted with Q Television's talent. They discussed ways to work together in achieving content success as well as business appreciation.
Future Planning
1. Importance of carriage - Continue discussions with national carriers and to aggressively target certain demographics important to the company's business model. Continue to build the necessary team to ensure carrier agreements. 2. Sponsoring Events - From the plethora of sponsored events, choosing and implementing a strategic plan to support and sponsor as many relevant events in the G/L community. 3. Advertisers and or Sponsors - Stronger sales initiatives in regards to advertisers. This will be done by enhancing the current sales force and equipping them with the proper resources to close deals.

Gays More Discerning Than Straights On What TV We Watch by Ed Welch 365Gay.com Los Angeles Bureau
Posted: April 4, 2005 2:03 pm ET
(Los Angeles, California) A new national study of what we watch and read shows that the media consumption habits of gay, lesbian and bisexual adults differ from those of their heterosexual counterparts.
For example, GLB adults (76%) frequently or occasionally watch basic cable, compared with two-thirds (67%) of heterosexual adults.
Similarly, six in 10 (62%) GLB respondents report they frequently or occasionally watch specialty cable networks (compared with 56% of heterosexuals) and 45 percent report they frequently or occasionally watch premium (pay) cable networks (compared with 37% of heterosexuals).
These are a few highlights of a nationwide survey of 2,630 U.S. adults, of whom 177 self-identified as gay, lesbian or bisexual. The survey was conducted online between March 8 and 14, 2005 by Harris Interactive, the market research and consulting firm, in conjunction with Witeck-Combs Communications which specializes in marketing to gays.
The online survey also highlights preferences toward reading alternative newspapers among GLB and heterosexual adults. While one-half of GLB respondents (49%) state they frequently or occasionally read the alternative press, one-quarter (27%) of heterosexual adults say they do. Likewise, three in 10 (31%) GLB respondents say they frequently or occasionally listen to independent and alternative radio stations, compared with one-quarter (25%) of non-gay respondents.
“Gays, lesbians and bisexuals are as avid as ever about connecting to television programming and publications that are directly relevant to their lives, needs and tastes,” said Bob Witeck, CEO of Witeck-Combs Communications.
“This research tells us they are looking beyond traditional mass media for news and entertainment trends that intrigue them and, more importantly, that also include them.”
Expanding on what previous Harris Interactive studies have shown about GLB Internet use, this survey indicates that two-thirds (66%) of GLB adults frequently or occasionally visit mainstream online channels (compared with 57% of heterosexual adults).
Gays also read web logs (or “blogs”) more often than their non-gay counterparts (27% of GLB adults versus 18% of heterosexual adults frequently or occasionally seek out blogger websites). Furthermore, GLB respondents are more likely to read specialty or niche magazines than are heterosexual adults (15% GLB versus 4% heterosexuals frequently or occasionally read them). This difference is particularly apparent with travel (31% vs. 19%), the arts (16% vs. 6%) and entertainment (40% vs. 28%) publications.
However, the study also found there is virtually no distinction between gay and non-gay viewing habits related to conventional broadcast television channels. More than eight in 10 gay and non-gay adults alike say they frequently or occasionally watch national and local broadcast channels.
Gays, lesbians and bisexuals are as avid as ever about connecting to television programming and publications that are directly relevant to their lives, needs and tastes,” said Bob Witeck, CEO of Witeck-Combs Communications.
Now this is great news about their community, you think they will support "Q" when it becomes available? You bet you they will

Greetings from San Francisco!! To date, the convention has been a huge success. We have met with every cable and satellite provider in attendance and their response has been that Q's programming is superior. Our executive suite has been the perfect meeting place to discuss carrier options with high level executives from various carrier companies. We will update the shareholders fully when the convention ends.

This is great.... If Carrier A sees Carrier B talking to the Qbid Team... maybe there will be a little peer pressure to get them first?!? This is a great move on Franks part to have a second booth! One to pass out the freebies and another to hold discussions and build carrier relationships!
