the pr is confused as h$ll. how does the share buy back have any relationship to the betterness of equipment for the game? does it mean that qbid shares are about to take off, so frank are buying back all the shares at this low price and later, qbid pps takes off, he sells at much higher prices and use the funds to buy equipment? if that the case, i will call my bank to cancel my mortgage. and if that is the case, thank Frank for giving a head up. someone please fill me in...

You are mostly right on this one, its like betting the rent money when you are 100% sure that you will double the investment. He knows that he will get much more $$$ back in time for newer equipment for the games. Frank is not going to gamble what he can't make back
IMO take it as a sign of much better things to come.

Bought 505k more this morning!! I'm hoping that we may run this afternoon when all on the West Coast go to lunch. Any thoughts? Q buying back shares could very well bring the price back up by reducing the float.

Good move to buy more, I have finished accumulating, the buyback will no doubt be beneficial to us shareholders. IMO I feel that it's also necassary to do another buyback to get us to another exchange. Frank, knows what he is doing and once again IMO he has been advised by the lawyers to do a buyback. New exchange here we come

Dustoff you posted, Watch for the main run during lunch EDT..And then again at PDT.. _____________________________________________ Don't you think to keep from running up the stock too high (and costing more money for their buyback) they would put in a buy xxxxxxxx amount of shares at, say .0026 limit, "good until cancelled"?? That way they buy from now until next month on any dips below that set price.

QBID - A Technical Analysis
QBID is a pink sheet stock currently in the sub-penny price range. Because of their pink sheet status all numbers given are pure speculation.
The Outstanding Share Theory
In Februaru 2004 it was noted that there were 15 billion authorized shares with 7.5 billion of those outstanding
To maintain majority vote, Frank Olsen, president owns 53% of the O/S. 3.975 Billion. This leaves 3.525 billion in the float
After a large increase in PPS, Q Television Network, QTN, dilutes the price and releases 2 billion more shares into the outstanding shares from the authorized shares.
After the dilution there are 9.5 billion outstanding shares. Frank owns 53%, or 5.035 billion, and the float is now 4.465 billion.
To expand, QTN receives a loan to acquire movie deals and rights to broadcast the 2006 Gay Games in Chicago. As collateral, QTN creates 6 billion more outstanding shares. Since the original 15 billion authorized shares were not enough to release 6 billion into the outstanding shares, the authorized shares count was increased to 50 billion.
Outstanding shares are now 15.5 billion. Frank still only owns 5.035 billion and the float is still just 4.465 billion. The 6 billion new shares are just for collateral. These 6 billion are restricted shares.
An announced buyback is completed in late December, 2005. Although the official number of shares bought back is not announced, it is speculated that at least 1 billion were bought back.
Therefore there are 3.465 billion in the float, 5.035 billion owned by Frank, and 6 billion restricted shares. We can assume Frank only wants to own 53% of the shares not including the restricted shares. Therefore he can also reduce his share count by 1.128 billion shares to 3.907 billion.
Thus the total, estimated, outstanding share count would be the 6 billion restricted + 3.907 billion of Franks shares + 3.465 billion in the float. Total = 13.372 billion shares outstanding.
After the loan is repaid and there is no need for collateral the 6 billion restricted shares can be destroyed. Future estimated outstanding share count is then 7.372 billion shares.

My theory On the Outstanding Shares
I agree entirely with Ric on the above estimates. I do have some further theories as well. It is in my opinion that we will all receive a much welcome surprise about the outstanding share count. I believe that Frank and company have bought back much more than just 1 billion shares. Here are my thoughts:
For one, there was never an official number given in the press release about the buyback completition. Why would they not release the information on how many shares were bought back? In the same buyback completion press release they also titled it the "initial buyback." Which would lead us to assume that perhaps there will be more buybacks. I believe they are indeed buying back more shares but on a continual basis so as to not cause a stir. If they released that they bought back over 10% of the outstanding shares, not including the 6 billion restricted, this could very well have rose the price and made it more difficult for them to buyback more shares.
Frank also has a history of building companies and selling them. Although Frank is gay and this could be the most connected Frank could feel to a company, history is most likely to repeat itself. Therefore Frank is going to want to build a share structure and company that are appealing to potential buyers. What is a buyer going to be more interested in? Company A that has billions of shares, is a pink sheet, and has a price that is fluctuated by rumors, pumpers, and bashers? Or Company B that has a few billion shares outstanding, is not a pink sheet, and has stable price fluctuations that are directly correlated to the performance of the company? If Frank wants the best offers for QBID he'll want to set up a company that is great as a network and an investment.
Price of QBID Now and in the Future
Just to show the possible future price of QBID and why it is a profitable investment I'll throw out some numbers.
If there are 13.372 shares outstanding, given by the model above, then our current market cap is $46,802,000. Current PPS at the time of writing this is .0035.
Frank Olsen is quoted from the conferance call that he expects QBID to reach a total value of $5 billion eventually. I consider this a very modest estimate considering BET was bought out for $5 billion and they "never made a dime and never posted profit," according to Frank Olsen.
So divide 5 billion by $46,802,000. You'll get 106.8330413. Multiply that by the current PPS of .0035 and you'll get a rough estimate on future PPS. .3739. Not so bad huh?
Now consider what happens when the 6 billion shares are retired. That leaves only 7.732 billion shares to equal 5 billion dollars. The PPS would then be .6782. How many of you would be millionaires at this point?
Lastly factor in my theory that more than the initial billion have been bought back. All of us longs could be in for a wild ride; not even considering that a worth of 5 billion was a modest estimate for the potential of Q Television Network in my opinion.
