I believe she was in the possition for 7 weeks but with the company longer.
either way she sees something worth leaving the security of a up and running company to come to a smaller startup company. My bet is that she is far more informed on the dealings of our company then what we know.

love this main stream media attention!the more the better! q is on the move!.this may be a little late comming but i have been thinking about this pride buy out offer and though it sounded great on the surface i was puzzeled? why would frank want to get his hands on here wich seems to be filled with gay porn, from the outset frank has maintained q would not be about gay porn but would would provide family programing designed to entertain, enlighten and inform. then out of the blue he makes a play for pride. first pride says theres no offer then they say not interested then they anounce out-tv a family oriented station free of gay porn filled with the very same types of shows q is offering.now heres my thought what if this whole out-tv thing is just what frank was after, what if pride spins off out-tv and q buys it as a stand alone station after its up and running on all of prides carriers, he could then change the name and piggyback into all of prides stations. i dont know, just looking at possibilities however far fetched. maybe it could`nt be done maybe pride sees a good plan in q and wants to copy it (look at the kind of programing they are talking about)whatever happens i believe frank will get this done one way or another.food for thought or just a good laugh. anyway i`m in and holding make or break! GLTA and have a good night!

This has become the "wait and see" game.Based on all the excellent DD here and a good game of connect the dots, ie:who is connected to who, doubt quicky fades. The only two questions I have which remain open to pretty much all is:
1/ Who is the backer for all the cash being pumped in? I know who we suspect, but need proof.
2/ If Q is going to take over the world, when will this happen and make at least the .10 mark +
Both questions only have speculatory answers to them presently.IMHO, I am not holding my breath for the begining of June, but I have a good feeling for some time in 2005.
I rub my kids heads for good luck, Q better hurry up before they go bald. LOL!
On another note, I think we will see low 2's before we see another rise in PPS. I am betting another 1,000,000 shares on it as that is my buy point to add to my collection.

BusinessWeek has learned that the nation's largest telecom provider is preparing to seek cable-TV franchises in parts of Texas and eight other states so that it can offer video in head-to-head competition with cable companies. The service would provide a powerful new source of competition in the pay-TV market, where most consumers have a choice of one local cable-TV company and two satellite operators.

I think the Qs been whittled pretty hard as of late and most holders are pretty core followers. Until an answer comes out about Oxygen today I think it will be quiet.
Infomercials are for failing or desperate companys, in my eyes, and ones that typically appeal only to the impulse buying insomniac. I personally hope we pulled it off there myself.

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Apr 05, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Q Television Network (Pink Sheets: QBID) announced today that they have inked an agreement with Oxygen to publicize the network to national audiences.
Starting April 14, 2005, Q Television Network will air nationally for half an hour per day via the Oxygen Network.
"We are very pleased to have made this agreement to promote Q through Oxygen," said Frank Olsen, President and CEO of Q Television Network. "The number of inquiries from potential subscribers to national carriers has been staggering, and Q Television feels strongly that by using Oxygen to promote Q's programming we will strengthen our relationship with national carriers and their audiences."
So where's the beef, I do not see "Q" on the programming list and my e-mail to Oxygen have not been responded to.
Frank we need some answers!!!
Lomg and holding here, but curious about this PR

By DAVID BAUDER AP Television Writer NEW YORK (AP) - Three new TV networks catering to gay and lesbian viewers are trying to establish themselves and all say they support one another - at least publicly. Competition breeds interest and shows doubters the business is viable, said Frank Olsen, president of the Q Television Network. He once applied the same theory when he owned four gay and lesbian bars near each other in Seattle. “I think there’s room for all three of us,” said Olsen, whose network is the underdog of the trio. “We’re different types of channels, just like you have ABC, NBC and CBS.” Sure to be the most visible is MTV Networks’ Logo, scheduled to start as a basic cable network on June 30. Q and Here are both pay services operating now and available to a limited number of viewers. The gay and lesbian community has been underserved by the media and these channels are long overdue, said Damon Romine, entertainment media director for the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. “There’s definitely an audience out there that is hungry to see their stories being told,” he said. “We’ve seen this with the tremendous success of `Queer as Folk’ and `The L Word.”’
MTV’s Logo Logo has two original series that will be ready this summer. One is “Noah’s Arc,” about a black gay screenwriter from California and his friends, and the other is “My Fabulous Gay Wedding,” a comic makeover reality show. Otherwise, Logo will rely heavily on movies and documentaries until it is better established. “It will be programmed to the sensitivity of a basic cable audience,” said Nicole Browning, president of MTV Networks’ affiliate sales and marketing unit. Logo has spent years on parent company Viacom’s back burner, and already has seen its starting date postponed from February. This year’s delay was partly to get more programming in place but was also because it only had agreements to be in 2 million to 3 million of the nation’s nearly 110 million television homes. Browning said Logo will begin in 10 million homes, a significant percentage of the roughly 45 million homes with digital service. Logo isn’t trying to reach analog homes.
Here’s Approach Political trepidation is one of the reasons Paul Colichman, Here’s CEO, believes his business plan is superior. Interested viewers can subscribe to Here full time, for an evening or for individual programs. “Unless you want the channel, you don’t receive it,” he said. Colichman claims ownership of the largest gay and lesbian film library in the country, with such titles as “The Crying Game,” “Longtime Companion” and “Gods and Monsters,” which he produced. He has original series on gay families, how gay couples met and a supernatural soap opera called “Dante’s Cove.” “Look at HBO and Showtime and what they do and compare it to a basic cable channel, and that’s where you will see the difference between Here and Logo,” he said. Roughly 80 to 85 percent of homes with digital satellite or cable can order Here, he said. But Browning noted there’s a big difference in visibility between an advertiser-supported network like Logo, which will be seen continually in millions of homes, and a subscriber service whose audience is likely to only count in the thousands at any given time.
Smallest: Q Q is aggressively marketing itself but, to date, is only available on the small RCN satellite service. Olsen said it would be available in 16 million homes by June. Olsen concedes his rivals have shut him out of the market for many films. It has a documentary series, “In FoQus,” which is preparing a tribute to Elizabeth Taylor, and a morning talk show which recently changed its name from “Good Morning Gay America” to “Gay Day” after representatives of ABC’s “Good Morning America” threatened legal action, he said. When Viacom announced it was going ahead with Logo, Olsen said he started getting phone calls from cable companies returned. “Having a company like Viacom validate the niche automatically made the concept of a gay-oriented channel more viable,” Colichman said.

I still believe that the MM's will slowly push this down lower. I have firmly decided to buy back in if it gets to 25. I will get back my 3mill and then some....
As far as the buy out rumors... I don't buy them..at least not yet anyway. Viacom I believe, wont touch Q until they have all the dirty shell problems taken care of. Why would they buy something that could come back and bite them in the butt.... unless of course, they make a low ball offer to accept the liabilities that come along with Q as it is right now. That is what typically happens in every buyout I have been a part of. The buyer estimates how much money it will take to clean up the mess and they chop that right off the fair market value of the company.
I honestly would not want viacom to do the buy out just yet, but that is just my opinion. I want the viacom buy out to occur after Q cleans everything up and maybe moves off the pinks.... then we will be getting primo value for our shares!
FOT here is your chance its at 0.0025.
