Komm- Obviously his outlooked has changed. All you are showing is that he use to pump the stock and now he "bashes" it. I did the same. I was a huge supporter of QBID and then changed my mind when I believed things were not going the way they were suppose to. I sold and got out. When companies actions change and promises are broken and lies made, people have the right to change their outlook as well. Most of what he is saying is true. Yes, he does exaggerate a few of his reasons, but for the most part he is right about what he is saying. Just because you are totally for a stock one day does not mean you can't change your mind the next, especially in penny stocks. Any other way of thinking is absurd and you are sure to loose money.

As most people know, take what someone else say's with a grain of salt and do your own DD.

I use the term "pumper" and "basher" very loosely. I mean pumper in the sense that I believed in the stock and rooted for it. When things in the compnay changed from my point of view, I got out at a very nice profit. It was at that point that I became a "basher" in the sense that I did not support this company and was not posting positive things about it. I let everyone know my opinions about it and moved on. It is in that sense I think you are confused as to what I mean by "pumper" and "basher". I would have loved to have kept "pumping" (posting positive things about the compnay) however, it was at that point that positive things about this company were hard to find. The plethora of negative things emerging was overtaking any DD most people were doing. I do agree with you however that there is no point to sticking around and continually "bashing" the stock. State your point of view and move on. On this board, I do still lurk and very rarely post. That is because since I sold off my investment in QBID, I have still traded it. This stock does have its perks in its volitility, and it is in that, that I still continue to make money in QBID. However, as an investment, I have no faith in this company. I won't get into posting my reasons, been there, done that. I just think it is hilarious that people on this board want to jump all over Robin and U4 for posting what is for the most part, correct. I do agree that U4 may have some joy in seeing this stock fall, and probably does have alterior motives. However, this stock is not falling because of what U4 and Robin are posting, it is falling because of the incompentance of your CEO Frank Olson. I have posted this before, and will say it again, the best news you guys could get that would send this stock back up is if news came out that Frank Olson was stepping down as CEO as was being replaced by anybody with a sense of business. Even I might consider buying back in as an investment if that were to occur. As for now, I am going back into lurk mode on this thread, but I will be standing by, reading everyday, ready to jump back in at any money making oppurtunity I see. Good luck to everyone.

Kbpkt--well put...not trying to get in the middle of this conversation, but even I, a QBID fan, am not thrilled with Frank. Still holding QBID.
Like I've said repeatedly, Frank needs to heavily promote QTN...publically...press releases, significantly more newspaper ads, magazine features...he needs to hire himself a "Director of Communications" to handle press releases and field phone calls from inquiring minds....This silence tactic is indeed ludicrous...especially with QTN airing in SF. Boggles the mind.
Not bashing at all. Just quite perplexed as to why Frank would intentionally hold back positive public information (press releases.)Enough said.
I'm holding my QBID shares, because the potential to me outweighs the risk right now.
I'm fervently hoping that Frank snaps out of this 'stealth' mode and hires himself a freaking band and cheerleading squad to promote QTN...

Mdec--very conservative government for sure...but I'm betting the greed of corporations is more important than touting conservative agendas. I think advertisers, who recognize this is a relatively untapped money well, will jump on board quickly if given the opportunity. Increased revenues for their own companies positively affect their own pps'...Maybe we'll find out soon enough if QTN has advertisers.
Would love for someone in San Fran to write in...and tell us what they are seeing.

Just phoned QTN. Spoke briefly with Troy. He confirmed that they are indeed airing on channel 255 through RCN. I asked (quite nicely) why we haven't had this wonderful news formally released from Frank...he said that Frank had been out of town most of last week and has just returned. I asked him if he knew when or if a press release would come out...said he personally did not know but he was limited on what he could say.
I didn't talk to Troy but for a minute or so...sounded professional, kind and patient. Perhaps once Frank gets a good night sleep, he'll give everyone some welcome news.
Q Television Network continues its drive towards its public launch and will air on May 15, 2004 a test of its broadcast signal. This signal will be sent out in analog format and will be viewable to all C-band dish owners. After this test is concluded, network will revert to a digital scrambled signal as it continues towards its regular soft launch to cable, satellite and advertising concerns. Further information regarding satellite and transponder for viewing will be posted in the coming days.

Posters may and do stretch the truth, state facts, omit facts, slam, pump, bash, whine. . .on and on--all part of the process.
However, when negative posters show up sporadically with continuous patronizing comments about other shareholders, it is beyond reason to believe that they have concern for anyone other than themselves.
Where were many of these concerned "protectors" before the big dip?
Do you agee that they do seem to have excellent timing when protecting and benefiting themselves?

At least wait until October before you consider this one a lie. Chill out man, if you don't like this stock then leave this post and don't come back. If you don't have any of this stock than why are you here? Unless you are trying to get the price down to a level where you want to buy it. I think it is time for you to get a life and move on to something else.
I beleive this will be something big in a year or so however it takes more than a month to get things up and running in good shape. Patience is a necessity when it comes to pinks.
i got an idea U4....they need to get billboards and put them up right next to the big baptist church or maybe flyers that way they might get some to those methodists that got the gay bishop and then had churches close all over the country over it. i'm sure we'd get on the differant news outlets then, of course all the cable companies would block franks phone number but hey we'd have big time advertizing.

- I really have to say something about that. These boards are for the most part unregulated (read to mean by law - sec). Every now and then something will cause a chain reaction for someone to cause the SEC to investigate but usually by then its too late and a lot of people have lost money. What I am trying to get at is that people need to be skeptical about each and every single post here. Anonymity almost always guarantees that a few people out of the bunch will try and create an environment that is more beneficial to themselves as compared to others. If "serious" people are using this public board to make decisions regarding their own portfolios then best of luck to them but do not try and even complain for one second if something does not work out the way a thread is pointing. In the short run they might get lucky but the odds are against them to really make out. It is very risky to go by a lot of what is posted. Everyone needs to do their own research and decide for themselves. If they are too lazy or just do not want to and want to follow a heard then at some point they deserve to get trampled. Start a "private" group with some people that you "trust" from here. Get to know them - their real names etc - talk to them on the phone - cheap a$$'s out there use yahoo voice chat or something else. Make group decisions etc and that will probably work out a lot better than just going by the top threads at any board.
Just remember people that in the grand scheme of things we all want to do good and make a lot of money. Some of us unfortunately just want a bigger share than others but you know what - that is life. They will screw people no matter what is at stake.
This is a message board. Not everyone will be in agreement with everything. Not everyone has to own a position in a security to be able to post on it. This is all public domain. Dont like what you are reading? You dont have to respond to it. If some of the pay scales are accurate for "pumpers and bashers" then by responding to them you are paying them. Good job!
