Rogers, AT&T Wireless In Pact For Rogers Wireless Stake TORONTO -(Dow Jones)- Rogers Communications Inc. (RG) and AT&T Wireless Services, Inc. (AWE) have reached agreement in principle for the sale by JVII General Partnership of its 48.6 million shares of Rogers Wireless Communications Inc. (RCN) to Rogers Communications for C$36.37 a share.
In a press release, the parties said they are working toward obtaining board and other approvals and expect an announcement regarding an agreement later Monday.
Rogers Communications already owns 55.5% of Rogers Wireless.
Rogers Communications has cable-television, video and publishing operations.
Rogers Wireless is a wireless communications company.

No, hope that not everyone here is a gullible fool who is willing to believe every pumper touting riches for all as they watch their account dwindle. I am definitely not bashing (I have invested quite a bit), however - I think something fishy is really up. Nobody except for an earlier post can confirm that they have actually "SEEN" this. Wouldn't this be advertised somewhere.... with a completely reliable source that has seen such? This makes zero sense that Frank has not put out any PR whatsoever. I know that people think that a low profile is good for now - but if this in fact has launched - the volume is way down and this .0049 is rediculous.

Not bashing but RobinO has valid points. If you don't agree with some of his comments, you are looking at QBID wearing rose colored glasses. Something is wrong with this picture. OK, I'll agree with many of the observations made by U4, or I I havent' done the research myself to tell if therey are true or not. But there are a few I must take exception with at this time since we don't have, nor to my knowledge can we get, the information to come to a conclusion. How do you know this? I've seen no evidence that there is NOT a deal.

I was able to witness some of the "soft" launch on C-Band, which was later termed a "test", if this is what you are refering to My reception wan't good but I think that was problems on my side since others reported seeing the signal sent to the few cable carriers that aired the test. I recall there being at least two programs, a movie and the documentary. That signal could not be found later because the test was only for about 5 hours, I think.

As I posted before, the PR does not say that the "flicks" listed are the only ones QTN got. The way I read it they are just a sample of what we got. I can't attest to the quality since I don't think I ever saw any of them.
25. FRANK TELLS US THAT EXECUTIVES HAVE MADE GREAT INROADS IN FIRMING UP NETWORK CARRIAGE AND MAKING NEW APPOINTMENTS FOR CARRIAGE. NOPE, WE GOT RCN WHICH IS A FINANCIAL MESS.
We don't know this is not the case since we've not been told any details.
26. WE HAVE A HOTLINE TO TAKE CALLS TO UPDATE SHAREHOLDERS WHICH IS NO LONGER USED.
And this proves, what? Maybe they decided that PRs were a better way to go so as to not risk giving out insider information.

I think understand what you are saying. All I'm saying is don't say things like "THERE IS NO DEAL WITH TIME WARNER." or "NOT A SINGLE ADVERTISERS HAS BEEN CONTRACTED". Say "there is no evidence that there is still a deal with Time Warner" or "we have not been told of any advertisers that have been contracted." See what I mean? U4 is stating something as fact for which we have no evidence one way or another. That is just as misleading as what he is accusing other posters of doing.
I will admit that we as the investors are entitled to TRUTHFUL and ACCURATE information from any company we invest in and that QBID, as well as most pink sheet companies, like to really hype things in their PRs. But if we are going to criticize the company for bad, misleading, or contrary information we should expect to be held to the same scrutiny for what we say.

Just got confirmation from Jim Downing at RCN that Q is on channel 255 in SF. Anyone can confirm this by emailing Mr. Downing at Investor Relations <Investor.Relations@rcn.net> ----------- Yes, that is true- sorry I didn't inform you about this yesterday. Our SF market has launched QTV on channel 255. Other markets still slated for an October 1 launch date.

Good to know Trader O. Appreciate the post...thinking the Q introduced in San Fran first because of the number of g/l...perhaps Q is trying to get an idea of the number of possible subscriptions in the area... Sample/experiment with marketing.

It's nice to know there is some glimmer of hope alive on the board. I don't suffer fools lightly, and I don't think anyone else should either... especially when your money is at stake. Apparently we're in the minority though in that regard. PT Barnum said there's a sucker born every minute... What he didn't know at the time is that they'd all end up on the internet.
