I've traded more shares and more money in a day jerk off. MAYBE you are the one who should stay out of the pink section (stocks that is) and stick to what you know best.

Yeah I remember the one Frank released.. it was a carbon copy of one released by some other pinkie a week earlier. Anyway, I don't know the answer to this question, so I'm not asking it rhetorically: how can they prove they're being shorted? Especially on the Berlin exchange? This sounds like an excuse to me. I don't think there are many penny investors who are well versed in the German stock exchange...so it sounds like a convenient excuse since no one here can really check it out for sure. TSBB tried this trick about 2 months before tanking, doing a reverse split, and symbol change. They claimed that shorters and MM's were manipulating their stock, and that they were really worth 10x more. Funny! But people believed it...

Fair enough, but how does this benefit the MM's? Don't they own the same shares we do? Wouldn't a 500% increase help them just as much as us? If they had some short positions, I'm sure they have the ability to execute stop losses and buy up a bunch of shares before manipulating it upwards. Which begs the question, why don't we ever hear about MM's manipulating stocks up? When QBID broke through .0042 and went straight up to .028 for no reason, I don't think anyone pointed the finger at MM's. Do they only manipulate down?

Shareholders. When a company has a hot product and does well, people are inclined to buy, price goes up. When a company has nothing to show for its effort and expenditures, people sell, price goes down. It's not all the MM's fault. Sometimes the company's performance may enter into it, don'tcha think? naahhh..can't be!

R, if you look back through the threads, you will find several postings with websites that explain about shorting and mm's too. They can instruct you on how prices are manipulated.

If you look further back, you will find a lenghtly post naming brokerages and unfair trading practices.

Of course, reading facts may not be as much fun for a devil's advocate who is more interested in their own opinion.
