In all fairness, I don't think people who post here get upset about reading posts that are unflattering to QBID...I post both positives and negatives...never been shy about ranting and raving about Frank.
However, I do think it is the MANNER in which negativity is dished out that riles people up...for the most part, this is a really good board...people are smart, funny, creative and enthusiastic...most are willing to read both sides...it's just the overboard, and excessive negativity that get's under everyone's skin....of course, that's just my opinion...

U4 you need to decide which angle you are going to go when you bash. In one statement you are saying that we have not aired yet and in the next statement you are argueing your facts and saying that "on day one we have had no advertisers." Now either you are pshycic and know that when we eventually do air the first day there will be no advertisers or you have watched the first day already and know this for fact. Either way you are cancelling out the validity of one of your statements which really jeaprodises the validity of anything you say. You are talklign about Frank lieing and here you do the same to support your own schedual. just because you write long winded posts doesnt mean that we have short attention spans and dont see the inconsistancies.
If you dont like this stock i can appreciate that. If you dont own then you shoudl feel great with your choices. But what are you still doing here. Unless you are looking to buy more of the stock in which case you have faith in the fact that the price will go back up. thus showing that you are here for no other reason then to scam us out of our shares.
People beware. do your own DD and make your own decisions. U4 has a hidden agenda that will result in him buying your shares from you at a large loose for you.

I recall there being at least two programs, a movie and the documentary. That signal could not be found later because the test was only for about 5 hours, I think.
10. WE ARE TOLD THAT THE LOCAL WORK FOR Q-TV SHALL BE "SUB-CONTRACTED" OUT TO THE LOCAL STATIONS WHERE NEWS IS HAPPENING. TO DATE, NOT A SINGLE LOCAL NETWORK HAS BEEN RETAINED.

True, we've not been told of any advertisers, but how does that prove we have not contracted any?
18. THE ONLY PEOPLE FOR THE MOST PART WHO KNOW ABOUT Q-TV ARE THOSE OF YOU RIGHT HERE ON A MESSAGE BOARD. 250,000 HITS ON THE Q WEBSITE ARE FROM THOSE OF YOU CHECKING OUT TO SEE IT. THE GENERAL PUBLIC KNOWS NOTTA ABOUT Q-TV.
While I suspect this is mostly true, we really have no way of telling exactly where the hits come from.

As I posted before, the PR does not say that the "flicks" listed are the only ones QTN got. The way I read it they are just a sample of what we got. I can't attest to the quality since I don't think I ever saw any of them.
25. FRANK TELLS US THAT EXECUTIVES HAVE MADE GREAT INROADS IN FIRMING UP NETWORK CARRIAGE AND MAKING NEW APPOINTMENTS FOR CARRIAGE. NOPE, WE GOT RCN WHICH IS A FINANCIAL MESS.
We don't know this is not the case since we've not been told any details.
26. WE HAVE A HOTLINE TO TAKE CALLS TO UPDATE SHAREHOLDERS WHICH IS NO LONGER USED.
And this proves, what? Maybe they decided that PRs were a better way to go so as to not risk giving out insider information.

I know we're all aggravated by the absence of a PR. But it seems like some of us here think we know so much more than Frank. So, whoever on this board has the ability to start a TV network, raise their hand. Uh huh, I thought so. The fact that Frank has gotten to where he is means he probably knows more about this business than we do.
Do you all think if someone called Frank, and asked him why he didn't release a PR about San Fran, he say, "Oh crap, I forgot," or "Why? Are PRs with good news in them a good thing?" Let's get real here.
Whether we like it or not, Frank HAS a reason. Here are some maybe's. (kommoncents addressed some of these already @ 14:23 today)
• MAYBE Frank doesn't want the pps to rise until he's finished buying shares back. • MAYBE Frank realizes (as we now do) that there are always delays in this business, and you can't delete PRs once you release them (as U4 proves over and over and over again). * MAYBE one of the mistakes Frank has vowed to not repeat, is to PR every little step in the process. ("Ah," you say, "But launcing in SF is NOT a little step." Read on.) * MAYBE Frank believes that a PR for every city that airs may be a GOOD idea, but a BETTER idea is a PR that Q is on the air nationwide with advertisers. (Shock and Awe) • MAYBE Frank knows it is easier for the opposition to stop a network that is starting up, than it is to stop a network that is up and running.

I don't think it's that we only want to see the positive stuff. I think we only want to see what's TRUE, not somebody stating as fact, good OR bad, something that is only their opinion or they can't substantiate. I get just as annoyed with the hype as I to with the bashing. And I don't know most of the time what the poster's motive is, basher's especially. I don't think either type of poster lives in the real world - the pumpers want to believe everything's great, find wonderful things in every PR and are greatly optimistic. The bashers see everything as a scam or see every PR as a lie. And when a future event touted by a PR doesn't come to pass, well that's just more proof of the scam. It's also possible that they bash because that's how they get their jollies, causing chaos and making people uneasy about their investments.
Now, I can't say if QBID will turn out to be one big scam, a poorly managed company, one that just can't make a go regardless of the management due to things external, or will be become the next great television network. As for me, my 20m shares are all free anyway so none of my own money is in it anymore (OK, technically the money is mine, but if the stock tanks I'll have no net loss). I try not to stress over this one way or another (and yes, if it went straight up there would be stress in trying to decide when to sell out). But for me it's fun to dream about the possibility of making major money in this. Maybe even enough to retire.
But I digress.
My point is extremism in anything is bad. It would be nice if people would just post as DD credible sources and information. But that's not going to happen since everyone has their own agenda. I may get annoyed at some posts but I don't loose sleep over it, and in fact very seldom even post.
So to answer your question, no I don't just want to see the positive stuff. I want to see facts and respectful opinions. And maybe I've just hit upon the thing that really annoys me is the lack of respect. And maybe people get on the bashers more since they seem to be the ones who show it the least. You talk about freedom to post, which is true. But with any freedom comes responsibility. Showing respect to your audience is one of those responsibilities.

New Member I see posting this. But the last changes in my cable line up nearly took 6 months to update on Yahoo and excites TV listing. That means nothing. It will take time for there listings to update.

There is a twisted openness in his contradictory posts--he's a guy on a mission who will do whatever it takes.
At least the boldness in his posts have made him transparent unlike those who circumvent to provide his support.

I agree with this. These people are here for one of two reasons. They are either a paid basher or pumper but more times then that, they are here to boost there egos. Most of these people have nothing better to do then to come in here and get your goat. I seen it when my wife used to go into AOL chat rooms. You have the few people that are so bored with there lives they have nothing better to do then to come into chat rooms and boards to disrupt and get your attention. They love the attention. They thrive on it. If you want them to go away then you can only leave them alone. Unless you like the fight then just keep on replying.

Just got caught up and most of it was scrolled right through. I do want to say this: U4, this might come as a surprise to you but you're words are very powerful and it does have effect on a lot of people.
It did when you pumped and it does when you bash. Only the smart ones will figure out what your objective is. I'm here to help people, and your here to help yourself or other investors/MM's.

Gonna ask again since I got no response. I keep hearing advertisers this advertisers that. We are waiting for and needing advertisers. My question is, what pay channel has advertisers? There are none, thats why you pay extra for the channel. They make their money off your subscription to their channel. There are no commercials or advertisers on any pay channels I have ever seen....???

As far as pay channel having advertisers. There's a first for everything, and if advertisers are willing to pay me, I wouldn't think twice about doing it.
Plus the fact I don't think a Gay & Lesbian channel would fit well in basic cable for free.

I agree 100%, sunny! It's not about negative vs. positive, it's about blatant, mistruth negativity.
Everyone wants to see positives instead of negatives, but you learn to view both and make your decisions. That's why I don't understand all of the time spent "protecting" us by bashing.
Of course, I've learned to tune most of them out, since trying to reason/argue with them is fruitless.

Been a hectic day at the office so no time to respond to anything just yet, but the bit about QTV airing in SF caught my eye. I did a quick search on Google and came up with a bunch of stuff about a GLBT cable access show called QTV that has been airing in SF for 10 years. So yes, you might say that QTV is in fact showing in SF
Anyone know anything about that show?

LMAO! You beat me to it kommoncents! I was just gonna go there! For the record, everyone, those people did NOT get what they paid for.
I seem to remember promises of a report to accompany the few pictures that surfaced, but it never materialized. Instead, what they got was a bogus claim of "I didn't have time to type it up before everything became obsolete" (I paraphrased, but used quotes just for effect).
I also see that U4 is still using ALL CAPS to try and feel important.... or to compensate for other shortcomings. In either case, don't fall for his hidden (yet obvious) agenda.
P.S. this message is just for U4 ---- it's 'nada' (as in, Spanish for 'nothing'), not 'notta' (as in, well.. it doesn't have a meaning since it's not a word).
