Website Update!!!

Upcoming films, apparently stuff from the recent "test" signal launch but they are moving steadily ahead to illuminate their programming plans for the world. Can't wait to see some mention of the original documentary film they commissioned, right now they only list 3 old movies, but it is progress. Once original programs are mentioned, I'll rest easier (and some advertisers) but for now the website is looking great and we are first to market by a mile.
Go Qbid!

IMHO... MTV is running scared. That's why they are getting LOGO onto the airways months before it is ready. What a coincident that they begin this "rush" of advertising about LOGO at the very same time QTV is actually getting on air.

Competition? It's a pretty darn big part of what American capitalizm is all about. Without it, we don't have our American business culture improving, growing, reaching for that next big deal. Don't worry about MTV. MTVs' advertising now is actually going to increase excitement in the G&L community, and make them the G&L folks super happy when they discover they don't have to wait until 2005 with MTV. And once QTV launches it will be a big beautiful discovery for those in the dark.

Not to mention, MTV's advertising through various channels like David Lettermen will get the rest of the country & world ready (before QTVs hard launch) for acceptance into the mainstream.

Keep in mind, sometimes in competition, you want to keep your mouth closed, remain a mystery, so that the competition doesn't sneak in and steal all your great ideas before you even LAUNCH your business. To keep silent until the big opening (or BIG launch) so that any negative publicity doesn't have time to take hold...

Come on fellow Americans... love this competition! That is what will drive the price of QBID up over time, but be patient! Don't think like a day trader on QBID unless that's who you are & what you're really good at, that's cool. Otherwise, sit back, relax and let THE HARD LAUNCH, excitement & buzz, the big news & chatter, time & investors do their respective "thing".

Breath'n & sleep'n fine in AZ over QBID.

Bob, Whiz, & Ticker, and everyone else positive:

Very well stated. I was thinking the same things. It doesn't matter if LOGO is advertised to hell and back. People will remember "gay channel" and not the name. So when Q becomes available, they'll think it's what they've been hearing about. Besides, don't underestimate word of mouth by people in a bar or club. Once we're launched, it'll fly. Nobody's going to say "hold on, let me wait until NEXT YEAR to check out the competition to decide which one I want". It just won't happen that way. Two channels? Who cares? I have HBO, SHO, TMC, MAX, Encore, STARZ, and all of their various subchannels. The point is that I DIDN'T decide... I have them all! Why wouldn't gay people have both networks? They would. Remember that $500 billion in disposable income? Do you think that $3.95/month is going to break that bank? Exactly, it won't.

As far as Q being more vocal right now, they may not need to be. I think Deveney/Q are smart to let Viacom do all of the spending. Why not let someone else foot the bill to get awareness up for a gay network and to stir the bee's nest with bible thumpers against a gay network... what' was it called again? Remember, nobody will remember who advertised, they'll just sign up for the one that's available,.. and that'll be Q! For the few consumers that DO remember, they'll not be questioning Q, they'll be asking Viacom why they weren't first, and why they lied to them about being first. I see it as a win-win. Let LOGO be the "me too" network. It took Showtime decades to catch HBO with programming because everyone thought they were a "me too" movie channel.

Well, I just have to say one more thing. STOP BEING SO NEGATIVE ABOUT THE PRs. They are designed to inform the general public, NOT THE INVESTORS! The idea is to stir up interest by the public for a new product and to stir up potential NEW investors. They are not released to breastfeed whining investors. We are privvy to more information because we are doing our own DD. If a press release gives you more info than you expected, that should concern you because it means that your investigative skills s(_)ck. What it should do is confirm things that you already expect. Bear in mind that it may not contain ALL of the information that you hoped to hear. If you tip your hand to the competition, then they won't be your competition for long. You'll find yourself scratching your head and asking "what the h3ll went wrong?". Have a little faith in Deveney. They didn't get their reputation by fumbling through the business world.

Relax, enjoy the ride, and make the extra cash daytrading it if you have the stomach for it (or an extra bottle of xanax handy). GLTA today.

You're correct about M-TV, if Q-TV comes in July, that is it. However, I do feel like there are many people that are not aware of Q-TV.

Thats my point though. If MTV and Viacom get all this air time and we launch then all of a sudden, They are not the first and the Qbid starts getting attention that they may have never gotten without them.

The last PR started, "Move Over Fab 5..." Well, maybe their next spin will be something like, "Move Over Logo". They could play the "We beat Viacom" angle, and you know what they say- Everybody loves the underdog. Plus QTV will be running shows for at LEAST 7 months before Logo shows anything. 7 months is a lot of time for folks to get hooked on their new "favorite shows".

Yup, like Whiz says..
"All we have to do is LAUNCH"

Once we launch, does people know that there is new TV channel available? May be Q-TV needs to run some ads/coomercials?

Okay, time for opinions. Who thinks QBID will move Tue./Wed. after the soft launch and who thinks it will take the hard launch to move it?

I think you'll see the same kind of movement that you saw with the signal test... I think it will move after the hard launch, but don't expect $5/share overnight... JMHO though... I could be wrong (and I often am).

SAMPLE LETTER:

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE OF THIS PRESS RELEASE. I AM A CURRENT SHAREHOLDER IN THE QTV NETWORK STATION. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW YOUR OPINIONS ON QTV. I HAVE DONE EXTENSIVE RESEARCH ON THE COMPANY AND SINCERELY WISH FOR IT'S SUCCESS.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND CONSIDERATION IN THIS MATTER. I FEEL THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT MATTER THAT NEEDS TO ADDRESSED IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Move Over Fab 5: Q Television Has Arrived; New Gay Family Television Network Showcases its Unique Perspective Prior to Public Launch
5/26/2004 6:00:00 AM
NEW ORLEANS, May 26, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Q Television Network (Pink Sheets: QBID), headquartered in California, announces the launch of a subscriber channel for the gay and lesbian community in July 2004. An industry soft launch for carriers and advertisers begins June 1, 2004.

"It has taken more than seven years and millions of dollars to arrive at this day," says president and chairman Frank Olsen. "Clearly, the time to launch this network is now, and I am confident that the gay and lesbian community will embrace the unique perspective we offer as a family channel."

In a pre-public move to preview a sample of its programming to cable and satellite industry professionals, as well as potential advertisers, Q Television Network will offer a compressed daily broadcast that includes featured programs. The sample highlights Q Television's availability for carriage and sponsorship.

As executive vice president Steven Grunberg notes, "This is built by and for the gay community. Rather than a smattering of stereotyped gay characters offered because current market projections indicate it would be profitable, we offer a channel that will unite the gay and lesbian audience through a network that educates, entertains and informs - a network of real value."

Beginning June 1, the network will be available for viewing on Intelsat America's 7, 129 degrees West, Channel 1.

Olsen, an entrepreneur with a significant background in broadcast, was instrumental in the launch of The Movie Channel prior to its acquisition by Showtime. A pioneer in the development of new radio broadcast formats throughout his 40-year career, Olsen helped create African American radio and started the first gay radio stations.

"Just as CNN had tremendous hurdles to overcome, Frank and Q Television Network have had an uphill battle in the launch of Q Television," observes CFO Rene Schenk. "Q Television is positioned to successfully meet the demand that exists for a gay family channel."

Original and Acquired Programming

With a system of production crews throughout the United States, Q Television Network will offer a combination of original and acquired programming, which includes sports, fashion, travel, health & fitness, talk shows, plays, documentaries and movies. Teams of producers and directors will also bring breaking stories of interest to the network's audience via access to bureaus in Washington, D.C., New York, London, Paris, Moscow, Jerusalem and Iraq.

A preview of original programming premiered in May at the National Cable & Telecommunication Association's annual industry conference and was also included in a successful five-hour sample broadcast on May 15, which aired on Cox Cable in Louisiana and Comcast in the Puget Sound Region.

Included in that preview was "I Will, I Do, We Did," an original Q Television documentary exploring gay and lesbian marriage in America that offers an inside glimpse of the challenges faced by this community. Independent films, such as "An Intimate Friendship" and the award-winning "Straightman," are other examples of what will be available on the network, as well as commercial fare such as Bette Midler's "Divine Madness" concert.

About Q Television Network

This television network was organized to create and develop a network devoted to providing television programming for the gay and lesbian community. While the company expects much of its subscriber base to be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will attract many other segments of the viewing public. The company's programming will be available on a subscription basis to those desiring its programming. The network will broadcast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

Safe Harbor Statement

As a cautionary note to investors, certain matters discussed in this press release may be forward-looking statements within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995. Such matters involve risks and uncertainties that may cause actual results to differ materially, including the following: changes in economic conditions; general competitive factors; the television network's ability to execute its business model and strategic plans; and the risks described from time to time in the company's Securities and Exchange Commission filings.

For more information regarding carriage and advertising opportunities, contact the network at 760-323-4455.

Just an email reminder. Do not copy & paste too many email addresses into your letters (generally, more than 5) at one time, since many email servers are designed to view them as spam and to simply delete them before they are delivered. Just copy/paste a few at a time. This has been your Q-friendly public service announcement... regular programming will now resume, already in progress.....

Di,

Apparently there's alot of people doing just as you've asked. I've tried for 5 minutes to pull up the mailing list and it keeps timing out.

Proactive...what a novel concept! Much better than speculating on speculations... though I'm bad about that as well.

Go QBIDders!
