I'm still setting that up so i can, but it takes a couple days to do it, but the first deposit has to be at least $5000, i don't have that much extra cash to do that, thats why i have to transfer my securites over so i can meet the initial $5000 deposit, after my stocks get there i can make deposits of any amount

Hmmm... Ok... So I'm brand new at this stock stuff and sorry if this is a very simple question... So can I transfer my Qbid position from TD Waterhouse to say Ameritrade?

Yes you can. But there may be a transfer fee.. $10 to $50 seems the norm. There would also be a 'slightly random' period of time during which you can't trade any securities that are being transfered. Places like sharebuilder will lock you in for 30 days, others take 7-10 days, it really depends on both the sending and receiving brokers, etc.

Yes, but make sure its worth not being able to access it for a couple days, i daytrade part of my QBID position and am changing from Scottrade to Freetrade to stop paying Scottrades ridiculous fees on pinks, i knew i would be unable to access my stocks for a few days, but Freetradee said 10-20 and its only been 2

just to clarify, it would take 10-20 days to begin the transfer and it started after 2 days, Freetrade is charging $25 to make the transfer, I'm not sure if Scottrade is charging me

Last night I had tried to open a discussion on the possibility of a September launch (the start of the new season). Well, at least, today I got to hear it right from the source. Glad they removed that "3rd quarter launch" vagueness, and restated July. I feel better. Glad to be wrong on that theory.
Hey, I wonder if their goal is to air the piece on the MA weddings for the soft launch?

How about a sitcom that takes place in a local gay bar? You could call it "Queers". Everybody sing along:
Sometimes you gotta go where everybody knows you're gay and they're always glad you stay they all know you're not hetero just by the way you sway you wanna go where everybody knows you're gay

Many of you are still wondering if QBID is for real. Well I had that same thought but here is what made me erase that thought. ~ They have an actual office ~ There are people behind Q Television Network ~ They showed up at convention ~ QTV was on TV ~ They respond to emails
So the question is not are they real, the question should be, "Will they be sucessfull?"
Let me fill you in on something...When you first started trading stocks, did you think it would be a breeze? Did you think there would be only good news and companys would be profitable everyday? You can buy IBM today and they could claim bankruptcy next week. You should purchase stocks you believe in & QBID is a start up company. Yes things can go wrong (Eg:Enron) but the reward is much greater then the risk.
Dont look at what has happened in the past 3 weeks, look at what CAN happen with a Gay/Lesbian Network!

You have got to send that in to Q Television...That would be classic....hurry original programming like that may be getting piloted already by HBO!!!

Thank you, thank you. I'm here all night. Don't forget to tip your stockbrokers. Yeah, I'm sure QTV would love to start off their new network with copyright and trademark infringements!

The Q will be fine. Those that are into it know that it will eventually be a terrible day trading stock with the soft and hard launch fast approaching. IMO, it will be a great hold and those who commit to the hold will be happy. Happy Trading! For Now

July is only 29 business days away and the hotline message this afternoon asked for programing ideas? One of the "Sneak Previews" aired during the test was also being shown on pridevision the same day , another is being shown on ABC in June. The only exclusive and new clip from the test was the documentary. It looks like the big question is do we have any new , current , unique or relevant programming that will grab everyone's attention and make us a success? I have a lot of shares that I expected to be worth much more than they currently are and I am worried. I know they are real but my question is how serious are they? Did they a bigger and better response than they expected and are now scrambling to make it happen? For a company that has tried in the past and failed you would think they are better prepared this time. The last failure was due to a dispute with the Dish Network and not being able to find another means of getting on air. It looks like they will have no problem going live this time but it seems they are not prepared for it? Does anyone else have any comments about this?

I don't think this really changes anything. They state that they will offer original programming, but it doesn't say that everything will be original. If it takes airing some pre-produced programming to have 24/7 capability, then that's ok. As they grow, I would expect more and more original material. One example comes to mind: When NBC decided to air "Queer Eye" on NBC's thurday night lineup, it didn't hurt Bravo. Actually, if anything, it brought Bravo to the attention of viewers that may never have considered watching it or have never heard of it. So, if ABC or Pridevision show some of the same material, it just may expose viewers to the type of content on QTV. Don't forget, many people will have a preconceived notion of what a "gay" network will be. They'll be expecting a cross between Caligula and Drag Night in the Castro!. Just my opinion though...

Guys and girls look at the bands carefully ........this breakout will be huge....and the rsi is below 50......the last time the rsi was below 50 it took off from .0002 to .0036 now that was huge....... we are poised for a massive takeoff. The rsi is now as of this moment below 50.
