1.) DI+ is trending up (buyers)
2.) DI- (sellers) is trending down as is ADX for DI-
3.) PPS/trading is trending up and touching the upper Bollinger Band
4.) Volume of buyers has picked up significantly
5.) Slow STO is at 50 and trending up. At 65 is a huge point for breakouts.

This is my first official post of a TA. So take it for what its worth. But with a name change and a huge potential... this looks just about as good as PGHI.

I wonder how you can find out who is going to be changing their symbol in the near future? That would be a good trading strategy.

Best of luck to you guys and gals!

Bringing this back to the top. Only a few of the many tech indicators... Take care. mach

THIS IS A MUST READ FOR ALL!!!!!!!!
BTLY TECH ANALYSIS 101

HOPE THIS HELPS U SEE WHAT THE TECHIES SEE HAPPENING SOON

KEEP IN MIND TECH ANALYSIS HELPS ELIMINATE ALL THE “NOISE” IN THE MARKET. IT HELPS YOU “SEE” EXACTLY WHAT IS OCCURING. PRICE MOVEMENT IS A REAL TIME COMBINATION OF ALL THE POSITIVES AND NEGATIVES OF A COMPANY. TECH ANALYSIS HELPS YOU INTERPRET AND FORECAST MOVEMENT. THIS IS WHAT I SEE HAPPENING. AND HERES AN EXPLANATION TO HELP.

POSITIVE DIVERGENCE
For the past month BTLY has been consolidating after a runup to .047 from .01. There was “profit taking” until .023… where it bounced… it bouced up and then retested .023 a second time and then a third for just a brief period. This is often described as a double or triple bottom. The bears “sellers” were unable to bring it past .023 and thus it became the new floor after three attempts! Does that make sense… When a stock runs out of sellers… then the bulls “gradually” seize control again. Get it… less sellers… more buyers… prices rises. Aha!

Positive Divergence is when you see the price consolidating down… and a technical indicator such as MACD(Moving Average Convergence Divergence) moving up! Notice on Mavs chart that MACD has been moving up for the past 4 weeks even when consolidation was occurring. This is accumulation and is bullish… even though… Here’s more detail on positive divergence… Hope it helps… but read on… this will help you out big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

**************************************

A divergence occurs when two lines on a chart move in opposite directions vertically. For instance, if a stock's price has been moving lower for several days but, at the same time, its 50-day moving average has been rising, the stock is said to be diverging from its moving average.

Divergences between a stock and one of its indicators are common and often occur before a stock changes direction. People often look for divergences by comparing a stock's direction to the direction of its RSI, its MACD or its Stochastic Oscillator. Other indicators and oscillators can also be used.

There are two kinds of divergences: positive and negative. A positive divergence occurs when the indicator moves higher at the same time the stock is declining. A negative divergence occurs when the indicator moves lower as the stock continues to rise.

*********************

So we have POSITIVE DIVERGENCE OCCURING… but is tech analysis always right. Often but not always. What you do is use other tech analysis technique to confirm the positive divergence. One that people use often is VOLUME. You can see by the on-balance volume of BTLY that it has been gradually increasing… confirming a reversal in the consolidation.

Another BIG CONFIRMATION…….. COMING SOON!!!!!!! MACD CROSSOVER CENTERLINE! LOOK AT THE CHART! CAN YOU SEE IT! MAV MAPPED IT OUT! We have Positive Divergence upon the 0.00 centerline. When the crossover occurs… the BULLS WILL BE IN FULL CONTROL and this baby will move! Here’s a little more detail! Read on! Hope this helps you… Remember you can read all the news… listen to all the opinions of everyone in the world… but what the techs do is help look at all that information… at one time… within minutes and make a buy/sell decision! If you have any questions… off the board: email: machtabow@yahoo.com mach

Confirmation
Confirmation is a subsequent signal that validates a position stance. Traders and investors sometimes look for more than one signal or require validation before acting. For example: confirmation of a trend change may entail an advance past the previous reaction high. For an indicator such as MACD, confirmation of a divergence may be a subsequent moving average crossover.

A centerline crossover is sometimes interpreted as a buy or sell signal. A buy signal would be generated with a cross above the centerline and a sell signal with a cross below the centerline. For MACD or ROC, a cross above or below zero would act as a signal.

Movements above or below the centerline indicate that momentum has changed from either positive to negative or negative to positive. When a centered momentum oscillator advances above its centerline, momentum turns positive and could be considered bullish. When a centered momentum oscillator declines below its centerline, momentum turns negative and could be considered bearish.

Mach, 'been gone awhile, but I've been holding BTLY, was wondering why there wasn't more discussion on it. I know it's bounced around in the .02's for a while, but IDNW (GBLT now) did the same thing, though for a shorter time and at a little higher price.
The barchart com website doesn't have that high opinion of BTLY, but I think this will be one case where their opinion is proved wrong.
Thanks for all the great tech analysis. I know it takes work to learn, but with the examples you guys give a new member could almost learn TA by osmosis on this board !
BTW, members might want to check out PLKC, I think it's one of mullets picks.
Good luck all members !!!

Thank you allstocks. I encourage all to do their part in keeping this board fresh and clean. We deserve it here! mach

Please Remove B*****D. He/she is disrupting all threads. And members are becoming very upset. Its great to offer great DD... but to go through threads and attack people and make comments such as "this suckz" is adolescent and needs to stay off the allstocks thread. Please. Thank you.

On December 16th when I posted a tech analysis for PGHI... at .026 and recommended a strong buy.... American Bulls had a Sell rating and Barcharts had a low buy opinion. But nontheless... it went up for almost 10 straight days returning over 100% very fast. In the middle of the trend maybe on the 5th day... American Bulls rated it a buy as per candlestick analysis. Also, Barchart trending indicators which compiles trending to form an opinion finally gave PGHI a 100% buy at the end of the run at about .06. Always keep in mind that candlestick analysis and trending by these sites is based on PAST TENSE. Only through DD can you forecast the future and make astronomical gains. Learn to be a leader and not a follower and the market will make you rich! Take care Breakout! mach

Hello chrispete I am also a SCUBA diver, this barter idea of yours should be great. Good luck and keep diving.

If the room was going to be empty anyway, and an extra person can be put on a boat without hassle, why not? They don't lose money because there was no profit potential in empty spaces and I lose nothing other than a few hours of my vacation which I'd probably snooze away anyway - everyone gets something of value, and none of us are out any cash. Again a win-win.

That's what this company is doing, with an ease of resource access similar to Ebay, only without having to expend actual cash for the resources.

One happy fundamentals guy here. [/B]

Mach, 'understand about barchart's analysis and agree with you 100%. One thing that kept me in BTLY for so long was the issuing of a
"dividend" in the form of stock back in Nov.
This was definately a very positive sign to me.
Good luck all members !!!

BTLY will get past .03, keep in mind .03 is a big resistence point- and we are already testing it. Once it is broken, we will see some great movement IMO

This information talk about the trend of the barter industry in the future. Looking good.

CEO Predicts Globally Web-Linked Barter Companies
By Petr Koubsky

Steven White, president and CEO of International Barter Corp. (IBC), predicted that barter companies will soon be linking worldwide over the Internet to enable international barter operations.

He delivered a seminar entitled "Trading Beyond The Year 2000" at the National Association of Trade Exchanges (NATE) ....

"There are two significant trends that are changing the face of retail barter," White said. "First, many of the 400 independent barter company owners in the US and Canada are now recognizing the benefits of consolidation. Second, the barter industry is learning to embrace and utilize the Internet, to capitalize on the predicted thousand per cent increase in goods and services ......"

Already, barter companies are creating innovative Web sites and putting their client directories on the Web. They are soon expected to link to each other, thus expanding the regional availability of goods and services to the member businesses. The result, according to IBC, will be added revenue and profitability for all.

The forthcoming link-up of barter companies will cause "an explosion in the growth of retail barter, far exceeding industry forecasts," said White......

Mach and Mav, you guys have expounded on the triple bottom. Will you please take a look at PRVH. I see it forming one now at @ .20 and thats a cheap price to pay for a company that is earning .05/sh. profit last quarter and probably the next couple also. They are also going to pay a 20% div. mid summer. They have been as high as.38 just last Nov.

Thanks dz

PRVH is one to keep an eye on, try not to pick bottoms though, wait till it has moved.

BTLY is doing great, still buying pressure at .03 and hardly any selling.

Do you or anyone know where you can find how many shares bought and sold for free. I am able to find number of trades but not the numbers for bought and sold. I thought there was a link posted a while back but haven't found it. Thanks for any help.
