Mav, As I've said with PGHI when it was trading below .03 on December 16... be patient... it will happen... Within two weeks it did happen... and many gained 100%. Techs are never 100% but have proved to help me gain substantially! Take care. mach

Based on the PGHI chart doesn't it look like it may continue in a slight downward trend tomorrow? The MACD line is tracing down. What do you think?

Wow... If that happens... I will be pretty excited Denzen! Its been crawling up slowly now for a few days... Small gains.. but consistent... pushing into .03 ... when that falls... and it will... yes we could get quite the surge in price. mach

RSI... Relative Strength is one of many tech indicators. Key is to never use indicators along... You need to use many at once to help you figure out the what ifs... imho the techs look great...... 70 is generall overbought... but stocks can be overbought for weeks at a time... and the price can continue up at the same time... 20 is oversold... and stocks again can trade oversold for weeks and months... GWDL is a good chart to see months of RSI in that area. Take care. mach

Cndy, From the look of the chart... MACD on the attached 3 month chart is pointing straight up ad will cross the centerline soon... releasing the "Bulls". I do not try and predict the day to day moves using MACD... It could do a number of things tommorrow... but the end result in the very near future will be the same (up).. Take care. mach

PAYD cusip change went into affect on Dec. 8th. There was only about a 15% rise in price the couple days before the 8th with the price reaching .23 and then the price went down steadily until it bottomed at .17 on the 21st of Dec.. Today reached high of .24 Thanks for the charts Bam Bam, that sobered me to the fact that it's not at all certain that just beacuse we are getting a cusip change we'll automatically get a GLBT type jump in price.

Hi to all. I'm a new member, and just hang around mostly, but I read Matchabow wanted to know about symbol changes. I'm not very computer avvy and don't know how to do links, but if you go to otcbb.com, click on daily lists, click view, and you all can see symbol changes daily.. also deletions etc. I hope this helps you all make more money.. me too. You guys are great.

Does it show when the symbol change is to take place? Or does it show symbol changes that have alreadt taken place?

Well.... We are assuming that all stocks will jump when a symbol change happens... That is not the point...
The point is as follows... read my lead on this thread. You can change symbols all day long... dosn't mean a whole lot. The point is that Bentley communications believes its stock has bee abused by MM's Naked Shorting. There are two ways to identify shareholders which in essence fights naked shorting. One is to issue a dividend to current shareholders on record. This was completed. The stock price rose significantly from a penny to .047! And since has consolidated again.
Did more naked shorting occur afterward... maybe... So BTLY decided to make a CUSIP NUMBER and name change... not a symbol change and asked shareholders on record to contact their brokers to make sure they get stock certificates.... You really need to look at the big picture... You can not say... well this company changed its name and it didn't move up a whole lot... or this company changed its name and it shot to the moon. There are many samples in which companies have gone up 100% plus on the day of the change. There are also many instances when companies only went up a little. The point is Naked Shorting.... By law... all MM need to cover Naked Short Positions when this occurs. If you have done your research or at least read my into to the thread... you will see that Bentley communications is among 106 companies currently fighting Naked Short selling. They believe there share price has been "Beat Down" by this tactic... and are in essence at war. I think thre is a good chance this will move big on Monday... but yes there are no guarantees.
Also keep in mind... the techs are telling you screaming to you right now...that this will not be .025 to .03 for too much longer. When the MACD line crosses .03 it will explode.. the price that is... This is easil identifiable on the charts which i continue to point out.
Finally... in general BTLY is a great company with a niche market in a Multi-Billion Dollar business. Huge contracts have been signed and are on the way...You will see great PR's very soon! Hope this helps! As always... do your DD... and make sure you are looking at the Big Picture... Don't assume A plus B always equals C... Look at all the factors... out there... combine them and do your DD. Take care. mach

Nothing ventured... nothing gained... Im buying more if i can betwen .027 and .029 because.... I can see that no matter what is said... the techs are indicating this stock will move big time... All you need to do is review my BTLY Tech 101... but also... makes sense to have a considerable amount of shares for Monday...If naked shorts do cover... i will be here for the ride... take care... mach

Positive Divergence is when you see the price consolidating down… and a technical indicator such as MACD(Moving Average Convergence Divergence) moving up! Notice on Mavs chart that MACD has been moving up for the past 4 weeks even when consolidation was occurring. This is accumulation and is bullish… even though… Here’s more detail on positive divergence… Hope it helps… but read on… this will help you out big time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A divergence occurs when two lines on a chart move in opposite directions vertically. For instance, if a stock's price has been moving lower for several days but, at the same time, its 50-day moving average has been rising, the stock is said to be diverging from its moving average.
Divergences between a stock and one of its indicators are common and often occur before a stock changes direction. People often look for divergences by comparing a stock's direction to the direction of its RSI, its MACD or its Stochastic Oscillator. Other indicators and oscillators can also be used.
There are two kinds of divergences: positive and negative. A positive divergence occurs when the indicator moves higher at the same time the stock is declining. A negative divergence occurs when the indicator moves lower as the stock continues to rise.

So we have POSITIVE DIVERGENCE OCCURING… but is tech analysis always right. Often but not always. What you do is use other tech analysis technique to confirm the positive divergence. One that people use often is VOLUME. You can see by the on-balance volume of BTLY that it has been gradually increasing… confirming a reversal in the consolidation.

Confirmation Confirmation is a subsequent signal that validates a position stance. Traders and investors sometimes look for more than one signal or require validation before acting. For example: confirmation of a trend change may entail an advance past the previous reaction high. For an indicator such as MACD, confirmation of a divergence may be a subsequent moving average crossover.
A centerline crossover is sometimes interpreted as a buy or sell signal. A buy signal would be generated with a cross above the centerline and a sell signal with a cross below the centerline. For MACD or ROC, a cross above or below zero would act as a signal.
Movements above or below the centerline indicate that momentum has changed from either positive to negative or negative to positive. When a centered momentum oscillator advances above its centerline, momentum turns positive and could be considered bullish. When a centered momentum oscillator declines below its centerline, momentum turns negative and could be considered bearish.

Nitro, for PAYD the news came out for cusip # and name change on Nov. 24th, it actually happened on Dec. 8th. That may help when looking at those charts from Bam Bam. I'm still in and holding for free shares.
