I was surprised....the Berkshire website is about as plain jane as you can get. If you have a moment, go look at the message from Warren Buffett. I know he came from humble beginnings and all, but it is so simplistic. It reads like I was talking to one of you about advice...
The part that I think negates the possible connection, at least on this Lloyd's deal, is that it specifies a European subsidiary of BRK will manage the assets -CSHD is definately not European in nature.

Part of what people are concerned about is that there is no real financial audit of FHAL...AND? This 10K filing was to be for FHAL...Not CVSU...
Again I am hoping that the 10Q will give us a better understanding of many things...

A few things, at the risk of sounding lika a fuddy duddy, although chronologically speaking, I am probably about as young as most people here.
1) For the love of god and all that falls from the sky, enough about the Berkshire Hathwaway/ CSHD comparisons. I mean I am just about ready to stab myself in the neck with a No. 2 pencil. Let's get this thing steady above $2, okay? Yes I know BHA had to start somewhere, and it's a nice enough thought, but come on.
2) I'm all for having a little fun, dreaming out loud and some wild speculation, but at some point keep a cap on it. For instance, I tell my friend, "Hey I had a dream last night I was married to Shakira" and I stop there, but I don't go on and talk about what we ate at the reception dinner after the wedding and whether or not she and I talked about whether we'll send our kids to private school. Just be reasonable in your wild-assed speculations.
3) DD is not quoting someone else's post, especially an anonymous faux-Egyptian who occasionally spouts vague, disjointed premonitions. At best it can be qualified as 'interesting'. It also isn't fact all of the time, so try not to get carried away. Not bashing THE MAN perse. He seems like a nice enough fella. But he doesn't fly, have x-ray vision and he doesn't work for CSHD. He's an investor just like you and me.
4) If a basher or someone throws out a fact or a claim and says, "No one can prove that you can (fill in the blank)" and you respond with "Yes, but no one can prove that you can't (fill in the blank)." That neither proves nor disproves his/her posit. It's akin to "No it isn't... Yes it is!" type arguments.
5) Man, I love cheering. When this thing was moving and it went up to $4.00 and people were posting live L2's and getting all excited that's awesome. Quoting Simon's interviews with some optimistic commentary is great too. I mean suffice it to say, if you're long, love Rufus and quoting him- you aren't gonna put in the stupid stuff he says- and I'm down with that. Ain't nothing wrong with cheering. Just throwing this in here to balance my other comments.
6) If you wanna drop a dime on a rumor, quote the rumor source, and let it be known it's a rumor.
Not trying to be the board policeman. This is America, the board is a democracy and if it chooses to go a different route than I like, than I am free to leave. I chose to do this lengthy post afterhours, in-between Simon's potential interview with the SEC Attorney, becuase I didn't want to clog up space. Just wanna get a few things off my chest- and no doubt some will disagree.
But I'm done now. I'll shut up for awhile now, probably go wander away from the computer for a while. Good luck to everybody. Tonight's interview should be interesting.

We may complain about people bashing the stock but now a few of you super serious people are bashing other share holders. Enough! If I feel like talking about something off topic for a brief moment it's really not up to you to tell me if it's ok or not....
