quote:OMG...Jo you sold? ALL? I was mad at myself for trying to do A flip with some of my shares...and not buying back in...cause I had an emergency...but...I am so sorry... You can still get in low in the am....and the PPS is going to continue to climb...
Yep, I sold it all.
Those of you who know my terrible record with trading know that I've been in situations before where I've been up and then the stock tanks and I'm stuck with 80-90% losses. (STTK, NDOL, XKEM). As it was, I had bought more at higher prices and I was averaged in at about 1.77. It was the difference between a 20% gain and about a 1% gain to sell before it hit $1.78.
I made my decision based on the PR they put out right before closing with the original October 30th date and the price that it was at that time. I guess that OTC stocks can say whatever they want in a PR and then claim a typographical error. It really sucks though cause I considered myself to be long, but I just got panicked. Rufus didn't consider stockholders like myself when he made that "TYPO", I guess.
I feel SICK!

Jo, don't ever be down on yourself for selling and takin a profit. You did what you thought was right, which was to protect your capital. No shame there, you can still make $$$ on this stock, you just won't get the dividend. GLTY

Not likely.
Shorts owe the dividend to the other side of the trade.
Since this went ex-dividend TODAY their accounts will be market as owing a huge 6 x $11.78 placeholder dividend for every share held short in their account.
DID YOU HEAR ME?
Everyone short just went capital negative in a huge way that's independent of share price.
NOTHING LIKE THIS HAS BEEN DONE BEFORE.
What a freakin' play!!!!
IMMEDIATELT EX-DIVY FOR $60+ which will be held over them until 10/30. Forced settlement.
Bankrupt.
Shorts just got wiped out. Retail and naked. Eliminated. __________________

Wally ~ I will say it again... it is not the same as dilution when you put the new shares in the shareholders account. Tommorrow the share price will not go down because no new shares are going to hit the market. Give me news and atleast a $22 pps value on NASDAQ and I will trade some of these in for something a bit more stable and brand name like Walmart, Disney, or Coca-Cola... but not until they reach at least 2X book value or better yet 3X book value.
Sell if you don't want the free ones. It's up to you.

eh.. i'm not so sure about owing 6 x $11 ish.. I think right now, they do owe the 6 shares though.. but the price? that's remained to be seen.. and what is the exact deadline that they have to cover by? 10/30? I'm still in fear of the MM's .. they could just drive us down still..

I still cannot believe this is happening . What do you think the market will do tomorrow ? Rise on the news or drive it down further to try and cover the additional shares it must now cover before it gets listed on NAS ?

If the Record Date = 10-16-06 and the Pay Date = 10-30-06 then the Ex-Date would be 10-26-06 which means you could buy through 10-25-06 and still get the divy. Also, if you were to sell prior to 10-26-06 you would not get the divy.

If there's only so many shares out there, how in the world are the shorters going to come up with 6 times the number they shorted? I assume they will have to buy out someone with real shares thus eliminating the 6 additional shares they would have received?
Anyone want to try and explain just how the shorts will cover this? Seems almost impossible to me (except with a huge run in the pps that gets the longs to sale).

I'm curious...if one sells tommorrow do they still get the divy for the other six shares?
Where am I going with this? It doesn't matter if the shorts cover tommorrow they still owe those six extra shares right? Anyone think they will actually cover?
Wait...as of right now 1 of our shares = 7 shorty shares right? That is until the divi occurs...
