[Wink] thats nice glass.

that's why i clarified that one mention last nite - i feel like someone can repost on another board, and if it comes from AS it gets instant street-cred.

and of course that one last nite was an iFLUB repost on here, copied over to seem like it originated here.

not that i DD'd it to see if it was a legit post or not. wasnt the point.

and agreed... somebody made a booboo, be it an accounting mistake or a bad judgement call.
i suppose that trickle effect is still finding its way to the culpable party...

oof, sry portman. that is a bummer.

side note: if anyone knows where that quote is from 2005 where mr. miles says he has ceased his operations / turned them over to another party...
it was brought here a while back.
and i would like it for my files, since i'm still DD'ing and forming my opinion on the whole matter. thx.

Timothy Miles, A.K.A. 'Nick Tracy,' In Slovenia, Gives Up..
2005/05/09 00:39:31
'Our-Street' Website (1 of 2)
(financialwire.net via COMTEX) -- May 9, 2005 (FinancialWire) "Nick Tracy," whom FinancialWire unmasked in an expose a year ago as no stock hero, but rather a never-do-well individual named Timothy Miles charged by U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission with stock fraud and charged by detractors as being a sloppy investigator who despite picking some bad apples, has almost never had his facts straight, says he's giving up his website, "Our-Street.com."

After the Illinois court loss, Miles had taken down most of the comments about Circle Group Holdings and Halpern, as well, although he did add a statement after the judge's decision, when Miles had posted "Freedom of Speech IS DEAD," that could be considered libel anew: "That the courts would allow someone to invade and silence this home of unbiased and independent due diligence simply because some corporate criminal doesn't like the truths being told about him is wrong on many levels and has consequences beyond this website." It appears that he is still referencing Halpern.

haahaahaa what a joke:

Illinois Judge Susan Zwick, in her ruling against Miles, however, pointed out to Miles that "the same constitutional principles that guarantee free speech also work to insure that one who engages in such speech will stand behind it." The judge's order also pointed out numerous conflicting claims and statements made by Miles in filings and affidavits that were not supported by facts or evidence.
Miles has since publicly solicited help on legal fees via PayPal or credit card. He did not state in his solicitation whether any of the funds might also be used in his defense of fraud and corruption charges brought against him by the SEC. He also did not indicate whether he would provide any reporting to the public regarding received contributions.

One year ago, FinancialWire unmasked the elusive, mysterious proprietor of Our-Street.com, who had claimed to be Nick Tracy of London, as Timothy J. Miles, of Klamath Falls, Oregon. A day later, Miles posted his admittance to his true identity, and a more or less confession, including the fact that he was being sued for fraud and corruption by the SEC.
"Securities and Exchange Commission v. C. Jones & Company, Carter Allen Jones, Timothy J. Miles, Gaylen P. Johnson, and Jonathan Curshen, Civil Action No. 03-WM-0636(PAC) was filed in the District of Colorado May 9, 2003.

wo! this dude has serious credibilty issues with Rufus? shheeesh...

Miles welcomes responses from his targets, but invariably brands them as "lies."
Before heading to the relatively safe haven of Slovenia, Miles' unmasking included revelations that he is a former broker and self-professed failed public company executive, who also operates websites devoted to art auctioning and a mysterious otherworld crystal his site says has revealed to religious leaders around the world "the meaning of life."

crystal what? isn't that a drug or something?

I don't think that "choice" is telling me they are "wrong"...I think they are trying to tell me to "cover my butt"...if I have doubts...
I mean really IF there is even a chance that the market is that short...I would think that each and every broker would be telling their client to get CERTS..IMO...AND it also clears the broker the moment I get the CERTS...

I've been reading many of Tut's posts today and I want to see what ya'll think of my "speculation". I think that Tut is involved with the Humanitarian Society. Why, well it was the post below that led me to believe this. Not sure if he is Canaday himself, but he claims to have information we don't and is very careful in his posts not to reveal to much. At the same time he is itching for someone to figure out who he is. This is just my OPINION. Let me know what you guys think.

Posts: 126 On a very light note and at the same time a very serious one as well. I want to share something with all the shareholders tonight. I know most of you are fast asleep and that is good. To those I wish pleasant dreams. This message is for all shareholders that have held up against all the odds and this is for you to wake up to with the new morning. One day soon you will all know who I am. Money and especially this business can turn brothers against brothers, sisters against sisters, family against family. There is very good reason why I am with you all in this journey because that is my purpose but it comes from the heart and not from any sense of duty or selfish motive. I truly believe that this is everyones opportunity to better their lives in many ways. You have stumbled across something I believe is very special and unique. Don't let anyone make you lose sight of that. Most of all believe in yourselves and don't lose sight of that, and remember that you are all brothers and sisters in a world that is changing so fast. Too fast for most of us and if you spread just a little understanding once you have come through this you will be able to even make the enemy like unto yourselves. I think we have all become a kind of family in this particular venture. World peace is fast eroding but together you can make a difference. Rufus mentioned to do something charitable with some of your profits. I also think and feel the same. It would be a noble thing to do because this company should make a big difference in your lives and allow you the luxury to look at the world in a much more positive and understanding way. I want to quote from a songwriter of a particular classical rock group that I have strongly admired for years. The following has stuck with me ever since because it echoed my own philosphies.

After he had journeyed,
And his feet were sore,
And he was tired,
He came upon an orange grove
And he rested

And he lay in the cool,
And while he rested, he took to himself an orange and tasted it,
And it was good.
And he felt the earth to his spine,
And he asked, and he saw the tree above him, and the stars,
And the veins in the leaf,
And the light, and the balance.
And he saw magnificent perfection,
Whereon he thought of himself in balance,
And he knew (who) he was. in brackets is my own addition.

Just open your eyes,
And realize, the way it's always been.
Just open your mind
And you will find
The way it's always been.
Just open your heart
And that's a start.

And he thought of those he angered,
For he was not a violent man,
And he thought of those he hurt
For he was not a cruel man
And he thought of those he frightened
For he was not an evil man,
And he understood.
He understood himself.

Upon this he saw that when he was of anger or knew hurt or felt fear,
It was because he was not understanding,
And he learned, compassion.

And with his eye of compassion.
He saw his enemies like unto himself,
And he learned love.
Then, he was answered.

Just open your eyes,
And realize, the way it's always been.
Just open your mind
And you will find
The way it's always been.
Just open your heart
And that's a start.

A Question Of Balance, 1970

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door?
With a thousand million questions
About hate and death and war.

all joking aside, talk about taking advantage of people...
that site gives ridiculous hope to people searching for real help.
http://www.themeaningoflife.net/index.htm

the forum has been removed recently. it was filled with confused people's comments as to how disappointed/affected/influenced they were by this "great gift"

the only great gift on their is the webmaster's registration list [Wink]

oh- and notice this where he says he has "liquidated his assets"

Thank you for registering with me. I will notify you as soon as I am able to get the documents published.

Please, don't forget to help me out and let your friends and acquaintances know about this site. The more people who register, the easier it will be for me to get these documents published and out to the world. I am liquidating my personal assets to accomplish this task and I would rather spend my money on the printing than on advertising. In truth, I wouldn't know how to advertise this anyway. I think it is better shared person to person. So please, tell a friend won't you?

Sincerely,
Timothy

oh, i loooved nights in white satin!!!

ok, so here's what i gather so far:

that album is from 1970, so Tut is in his mid to late 40s.

also, the moody blues originated in ENGLAND. i noticed yesterday that a lot of the spellings Tut uses.. ie favour instead of favor... are the British versions.

so, who involved in CSHD is a Brit in his late 40s?

and from the 'maybe it ties in dept' : keep in mind one of those form 144s - the one for 585,000 shares - was exercised thru Merrill Lynch in London.

any further input Cassity?

There are a lot of references between Paul McCartney and King Tut:

King Tut is Tutankhamun

Tutankhamun was born about 1343 B.C. and came to the throne of Egypt at age 9 or 10. He didn't last long. He died at about age 19 under mysterious circumstances (although latest forensics have established not from a blow to the head) and was entombed with a relatively modest stash of precious objects for his use in the afterlife. But unlike all other pharaohs' last resting places, Tut's tomb was left mostly intact until 1922 when British archaeologist Howard Carter discovered and opened it, letting loose King Tut mania upon the world.

"The album closes with the other item of the title of this particular album, "The Balance", by Graeme Edge, another of the oratorical style songs of which the Moodies were particularly fond, especially during the early years. The theme of the song is that one only has to look around, and if one looks for it, it IS possible to find some sort of hope and meaning to it all, you just have to find love and compassion to find the answer to all the questions with which the album opens."

http://www.connollyco.com/discography/moody_blues/question.html

Concepts of 'Good' & 'Evil' are only what one has been programed to believe.

Newton...for every action, there is an equal yet opposite reaction.

"The Balance," a story in only two verses that juxtaposes two seemingly unrelated events, one being the mere eating of an orange, and the other being regret for transgressions. The concept that relates natural forces and the conundrum of human existence comes full circle, creating balance and ending in a positive waythis wonderful philosophical and artistic exploration.

My wife and I are CSHD shareholders and we were concerned about SCOTTRADE; according to the NOBO list had a very large naked short position. As we had just moved to SCOTTRADE from TDA due to shorting concerns and not being able to buy CSHD, we moved to SCOTTRADE as it was reputed to be a better breed of broker- no shorts!

Imagine our surprise when the NOBO list was published! Should we now move our account out of SCOTTRADE? So, like a good stockholder, attempted to do some DD and see what the heck is going on....our broker at SCOTTRADE was almost spitting into the phone denying that any naked shorting of this magnitude was going on. Granted, they are not going to admit to NSS....and my local broker is not very high up the food chain.

So, ADP was contacted to verify the accuracy of the published NOBO list. A Mr. Tom Sposato at ADP called back on Friday and stated that the NOBO list provided to CSHD was in error, and, that in fact the fault was not CSHD's but rather ADP's fault....Tom stated that ADP was in contact with CSHD and he expected that CSHD would be correcting the NOBO list on the CSHD website.

Tom stated that the "technical" fat-finger error had overstated the NOBO list significantly, and, that the correct NOBO list would be more in line with the DTC list....that is, a 2x or 3x NOBO list vs. float was incorrect.

Being a concerned shareholder I contacted Ben Stanley today and Ben informed me that CSHD was aware of the error in the NOBO list and would be posting corrections to the website hopefully by Monday. Ben did not state what the correction would be (up or down, perhaps they don't know yet). I have been following the thread and I know TUT believes that the actual NOBO list error will show MORE naked shorts than 75 million. If so, great! Other than will it bankrupt my (or anyone else's) broker?

I know that others on the thread have posted about this, and my concern is that if we (or anyone else) move shares NOW we will be not able to respond quickly to market changes during the transfer. Just an FYI for anyone considering changing brokers (AGAIN!).

Phil did provide some excellent advice if you are considering changing- transfer out in small amounts so that you can still be able to respond to changing market conditions.

I still think that this is a good stock to be in.....just concerned that if the NOBO list is accurate my broker doesn't stick it to me!

This should be a great week.....as long as my broker doesn't restrict selling!

Hopefully CSHD will post the corrections soon as they can and resolve this question. Waiting for that 10k and reset!

GLTA
Not that I don't believe you, but as of this very moment, I DON"T!

When I call on MONDAY morning and talk to BEN STANLEY and find this out for myself, then I'll believe this.

With that said, I don't care if it's accurate or not! THE FACT IS THAT IT DOESN'T MATTER!!!

What matters is that we are SHORT and the ones that will pay are the MARKET MAKERS! We WILL get our $. PERIOD!

Each shareholder is insured up to 25.5 million after SPIC.

So let the NOBO list go!

I've been doing some research and (call me crazy) I still think that tutankhamen is Paul McCartney.

Paul McCartney did a cancert with Tutankhamun's (aka King Tut) artifacts.

tutankhamen states in his post "One day soon you will all know who I am." - OK if he is credible it must be someone extremely well known if we will ALL know who he is.

Early Beatles Recordings For BBC to Be Released
A new album by the Beatles, featuring previously unreleased songs recorded more than 30 years ago, will be in record shops by Christmas, the group's record company said today. Kevin Howlett, a producer for the BBC, discovered the old Beatles recordings in an archive when he was looking for material for a documentary. "It was like finding Tutankhamen's tomb," Mr. Howlett said. November 23, 1994

I could go on and on and on with references, comments & quotes relating between McCartney & Tutankhamen.

OK I'm done - I won't mention it again.

However, cain't go with the Newtonian logic re "opposite reactions": the moon causes the tides, right? So when the tide goes out? the moon should go backward... [Eek!]
