I spoke to an etrade guy last week and he tried to place GTC orders for me at 50 and 100 and they were rejecting all...
he speculated the MM's they use (Nite and Etrade) don't like having open orders that high on the books and creates more stuff for them to do...

Scottrade local branch tells me that my GTC sell order (which I have had set for the last two weeks) will be cancelled on the day that trading is halted for the reset of the pps. (The rep. explained that it is Scottrade's standard procedure to do so in such a case for the protection of the customer.....so glad they care about me....ha ha!)
So far today my GTC sell order for $50 per share is still showing as an open order. Wondering if I see the order get cancelled today ??

That is wierd! I tried to do a Sell Order for $15 and Scottrade wouldn't take it. Said it was too far above the current PPS. I called and was told that I could only place it up to $6. It was 6 something. If forgot what the cents was. I wonder why you can place one and I can't???

GreenDay.....I had to have a broker from Scottrade place the order at the broker assited rate of $27. I could not place anything online, which it sounds like you are attempting. I do not know what functionality the broker rep. used to place my order to sell, but he accomplished within a minute during my telephone call to Scot. Hope that helps clarify how I was able to place my order.. GLTA

Just called etrade and was told the same thing...the "market maker" kicked it back...to clear it from his books...it's easier for them to keep track... Blastards...what about what is easier for the etrade customer? If I had set that GTC order and walked away from my computor for a few weeks and have this reset and my order never went through...they would have had one pissed off Momma!(Tis never a good thing to have Mom mad!)

Glass...Funny you should ask...I also put in a GTC order for another stock that is tradin at .05...put the order in for $25...I did that about noon...so far it is holding...when I asked the rep..she said that they place orders through different MM's...and each MM has their "own" practice...
Glass...I have heard that MM's can't "short" your stock if you have a sell order in...(as far as "legal")...but if you don't have a sell order in...then they can...is that true?

Yes I spoke with Ben today and I asked if he had to file any S4 or 8k today for the merger completion. His answer was the attorney handles all the filings. Then he stated they were in the finishing process.

did you know the black helicopters are actually nano-bots?
on a serious note:
oil is tanking...
everybody should be looking at and posting heavily shorted TECH companies that are actually solvent..
all of this money coming out of oil is gonna go somewhere....

I will now bring the sacrificial goat to the alter. Donning my white cultist robe and brandishing the holy Scimitar of Rufus, we will drink the technicolor Koolaid of happiness as we hold hands and shave all our heads while chanting "C-S-H-D". In this dreamlike state of greed induced stupidity... it comes to me..... "one hour left to purchase the sacred shares." And the goat meets its end..... mua hahahaha

You know if I remember right we started placing all those GTC orders for two reasons. One cause we were excited and had nothing better to do, and two to get the MM's attention showing them how serious we were about the value of these shares.
I guess it all worked out. They definitely took notice.

In addition to Scottrade, I also own CSHD in my eTrade. Since Scotty wouldn't take my GTC a few weeks ago - I put it on eTrade. I have just a small portion of my shares to sell at $13. Just what I need to protect my initial investment. The rest I'm holding LONG. Anyway FWIW - the GTC is still open and has NOT been cancelled.

With Fidelity, you can not enter a sell (at least for pennies) that exceeds $15 of the current pps.

Well Dog...IF he is "trust worthy"...guess his meeting went well...otherwise..he would have said to sell ..."I'll post why later"...he seems rather "un hurried" with his info....
