I think the I that looks like an L is just pixelation with the ink, but I do agree it's fake (and it's quite obvious!). Since there's a seal on there the document would've had to be scanned, however when a document is scanned you will never see letters THAT fine, they're CRISP clear! That's one thing, another thing is, look at the letters and the line around the signature. When you open a photo editing program of decent quality, you will see that the lines and letters do not change color when the signature "supposedly" goes over it. There's 16m color combinations and when the signature goes over the line it shows PITCH BLACK just as the line/letters. That's because the line and letters are on TOP of the signature, now who signs a letter before it's written? correct, fabricated! The letters is all you need to look at to know this is fake. And then there's of course the document Wallymac posted... IT'S SO OBVIOUSLY FAKE! lol

Do a reverse lookup on the phone number on whitepages .com and this is what is shows:
......
(404) 791-5490 is a cell phone based in Atlanta, GA The registered service provider is Bellsouth Mobility, Llc**. Detailed listing information is not available.
.........
Who would list a cell number on a statement like this?

It's got to be fake (IMHO). I can create PDF files until my hearts content. It's easy. If it's not fake, it would surprise the heck out of me.

dunno yet. people keep forgetting there is this non-profit thing to work thru in order to re-set the price...
seems to be just another nail in our streets credibility coffin?
irrevocable trust Definition
A trust which cannot be changed or canceled once it is set up without the consent of the beneficiary. contributions cannot be taken out of the trust by the grantor. Irrevocable trusts offer tax advantages that revocable trusts don't, for example by enabling a person to give money and assets away even before he/she dies. opposite of revocable trust.

Well that didn't take to long. Appearantly both Portman and I am right. PDFs do strip most of the information out that can be used to track document creation. But appearantly not all of it.
I found two lines in the uncompressed PDF file that struck me as "interesting".
Well it turns out that PDFs "do not" carry a hidden manifest, but they do have a finger print. And the above two lines are it. Basically, a manifest would document where the document came from, but a finger print is "unfortunately" useless unless you have the source to compare it against.
Meaning the very fact that I am posting this will tell the creator of the FAKE document to toss his computer to keep from being prosecuted. (No matter though I am sure they will figure that out before the court order is filed.)The above two lines can be matched to the machine and Adobe Distiller instance that created it.
I started looking at them when I saw the reference to uuid (universal unique identifier) and the recognizeable format of a GUID (global unique identifier).
In any case the uncompressed document has an abnomal number of Microsoft references in it so I am leaning toward MS Word as the creation tool. Below are a few exerpts from the uncompressed version. I would post the uncompressed version someplace but I am thinking anyone posting this PDF is likely to be named in a lawsuit so I would rather not.
By the way most of these references could very well be because MicroSoft Font encoding is just so common that even Adobe Distiller uses it. I am going to decompress a few other example PDFs and see what they turn up. But I am more interested in finding the source image of the blue stamp and signature. I am willing to bet I find a black and white version somewhere that matches identically and the creator of the fake altered the color in a program like Photoshop.

The non-profit thing...that only falls with the "FHAL"...not the "CVSU" or CSHD.
I was unable to find any guidelines for time frames with the 368(?) rule...like the "reset" needed to be done within 90 days of filing the "new assets" or anything to that nature...seems you may be able to wait forever?

good work, i suspected as much after i read that bit at Rices instructions on using Distiller...
This web page allows you to upload your postscript files to the server where Distiller is used to convert them to PDF. Once the conversion has taken place you will be able to download the new file back to your computer. To be able to use this service, you must be a member of the Rice community and have an email address in the rice.edu domain. Please note that this service is only available to full time students, staff and faculty. Email addresses in the alumni.rice.edu or outreach.rice.edu mail domains will not work.
