It's not a done deal for us. If you noticed, "It is our hope..." (GVRP crying and begging) SEC is not going to make this easy for GVRP.

I thought we might be able to get some sleep over the next couple of weeks. Nope. Saga continues, story deepens. What a friggin' soap opera!

unwind the trades....
Robert W. Pearce, the company's chief executive officer, said: "We are very grateful to the SEC for having acted so quickly in response to our request for help. The confusion about the actual number of the company's shares that are publicly available for trading appears to have caused some investors and various members of the brokerage community to be maintaining positions in our stock that are far in excess of the actual number of shares that we have outstanding. It is our hope that the SEC will ultimately resolve this problem by fashioning a solution that will permit the brokerage community to reverse the trades that should not have occurred in our stock during the past week."

This is what company WANTS, NOT what SEC will due....
SEC could nail em on this and i hope they do.

no, i said apparently, thinking that surely they wouldn't file that amendment--which right now we on this thread have not verified, either--if it were otherwise. Since then Glass has chipped in with supporting opinion so I'm leaving it for now...is there a larger question I'm missing?

I have been in Indiana for a couple of days, boy have I missed alot. I have just perused this thread quickly, like a few minutes only. It seems that they are hoping the SEC unwinds it all. BUT, obviously they are planning to have more trillions of shares than can be printed. Why authorize the shares if just unwind back to 11 shares?
Quick thought is they do not expect an unwind? Of course I guess it a good idea to prepare for the denial and hope they aren't denied.
Tex, litigation seems inevitable but premature to me at this time. No one knows what remedy will be crafted if any so who knows what relief to ask for?
Wish I practiced in fla, seems like too easy a solution in some respects. Just back date an amendment. In Tennessee we can't do that, we just bribe legislators instead LOL

When talking with an attorney it is critically important to listen carefully to semantic usage of words. Attorneys never state anything directly; they always leave "argument" room if needed.
Joe Kamnik, made that statement of his after a very long discussion during which I partially persuaded him I understand his position, his need to be careful and persuaded him I am on his side; a psuedo trusted partner.
we find that they want to issue trillions of shares to give to us. we know SEC was looking in to them.
It is my opinion that the SEC will not allow them to just give these shares out. Why: because it is illegal by SEC rules as we know. Also: this would give the company all the money from selling before the ex-date as well as all the money from illegal F/S sharees (the ones we currently have or don't have in our accounts)the SEC doesnt want all companies to do this, this company can not be rewarded.
I am not sure what the SEC will do, (buy back, unwind etc..)I am of the opinion that trading was halted so they coud sort this out and stop them from dilluting with the newly applied for shares.
Keith
And I'm hoping you are right.
ME too, I re-linked the news thought your post was an older one...selling all your shares wouldn't have helped, actually if they were allowed to flood the market with shares, you would be able to keep profits.

What he stated, has been parroted by GLUV.

pure PR judo tactic--SEC halted em, and company tries to make it sound like SEC did it at company request.

George, the amendment is there but, to the best of my knowledge, it has NOT been scanned into the system; there is no photocopy available, yet.

i-hubbers apparently believe it, and if true, one of thir members, a board mod, went to the statehouse and "begged" for it, cuz he din have the correct form of curency...no one here, at Allstocks, as far as I know has verified it. We haven't even asked who from here is near enough in Florida--Tallahassee, I think.

true, you can see via the statehouse link that an amendment was filed May 25, but it's not yet available online, hence the ihub-mod's reported trip...
