No, you bought an admission ticket to an old fashion carnival complete with bearded ladies, bodiless men, three armed midgets, a rather large eight-hundred pound lady, piano playing chickens, house of mirrors, sword swallowers, fortune tellers, and most of all, hawkers!
Decades back at an Oklahoma carnival I was smacked on the head by a sword swallower because I said,
"Mister, you dress rat funny."

Then I must have tried out one of those $1 try-your-luck-for-a-chance-at-a-cheap-stuffed-animal booths at this carnival. Think it might have been the spray the water in the clown's mouth game. A bunch of players sat down at their nozzles. Some people got water to spray out. I just got to sit there waiting for mine to spray. Trouble is, the game stopped just before anyone sprayed enough water to ring the bell to win the prize. Gotta wait a couple of weeks to see if they'll start the game again, or give me my dollar back, or tell me tough luck, you got your entertainment. Coulda won a SpongeBob, too!
Yeah, the sideshow was interesting, but I was hoping for the SpongeBob plush.
