That word "worm" just conjured up an image of a certain CEO that we all know and love.

On a related tangent, to quote John and John of "They Might Be Giants"...

My name is Dr. Worm
Good morning. How are you? I'm Dr. Worm
I'm interested in things
I'm not a real doctor
But I am a real worm
I am an actual worm
I live like a worm

I like to play the drums
I think I'm getting good
But I can handle criticism
I'll show you what I know
And you can tell me if you think I'm getting better on the drums
I'll leave the front un-locked 'cause I can't
Hear the doorbell

When I get into it I can't tell if you are
Watching me twirling the stick
When I give the signal, my friend
Rabbi Vole will pay the solo

Some day somebody else besides me will
Call me by my stage name, they will
Call me Dr Worm
Good Morning how are you, I'm Dr Worm
I'm interested in things
I'm not a real doctor
But I am a real worm
I am an actual worm
I live like a worm

I like to play the drums
I think I'm getting good
But I can handle criticism
I'll show you what I know
And you can tell me if you think I'm getting better on the drums
I'm not a real doctor
But they call me Dr. Worm

How can there be a big pop without a little pop first? Would be nice to see it trade at least. Anyone try to sell lately? Are we still blocked from trading a stock that is not suspended or revoked?

Just got a responce from AT about the rest of my shares I was trying to have them remove an unmarketable securty just to have the right off for this year for my taxes and this is what they sent me what do you guys think???

"Dear Valued Client:

We received your request to remove a position from your account as non-marketable. At this time, it appears that there may still be trading interest on the specified security. In this situation, the security does not meet the required criteria to be removed from the account as Non-marketable.

You have three possible options available:

1. You may try placing a trade to sell the security on the open market. If it appears that the cost of the commission would exceed the proceeds collected from the sale of the security, you are welcome to call us and ask a broker to place the trade for you so the commission may be adjusted accordingly.

2. You may continue to hold the security in your account.

3. You may request that we issue you a stock certificate for the shares if the transfer agent is still processing requests. A $40.00 fee is charged for each stock certificate requested. Delivery of certificates issued in the account owners name typically takes 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the current volume of the transfer agents involved.

If you have further concerns or inquiries, please e-mail us from our secure Web site's "E-mail Us" link. For security reasons, we do not answer account specific questions that originate from a source other than the secure Web site.

Sincerely,

Client Services
Division of Ameritrade, Inc. "

Interesting when I try to click on the MAMG in my portfolio it says that is not a valid Ticker symbol what a bunch of goof balls

good stuff--gotta think about the ramifications...

also, what *I'm* thinking is to take the full loss--I had $30,000 + showing, and I dammm sure took screen shots....

then, later, they showed at .0001 x 50 shares...

lol, how can any jury decide I did NOT lose?

It's really pretty obvious...$30K for weeks, down to zip...cuz I could NOT trade. Meanwhile, others made tens and even hundreds of thousands....

Just got another email back apparently you can not get romoval of a Non-Marketable Security.

Thank you for contacting us today concerning your account.

I show MAMG last traded on 8/2/2005. If you are unable to place a trade for the shares there are two options available to you:

1. You may continue to hold the security in your account.
2. You may request that we issue you a stock certificate for the shares if the transfer agent is still processing requests. A $40.00 fee is charged for each stock certificate requested. Delivery of certificates issued in the account owners name typically takes 2 to 6 weeks,
depending on the current volume of the transfer agents involved.

I get the same I think what they want you to do is place it through a broker and then they will charge you whatever they get for it so if the last pps was .005 and you have 50 shares which equals .25 then AT will charge you .25 to do the transaction. Im just not sure its worth it

Just FWIW

lol...new development: Check your mailboxes.

Gotta letter today :
quote:
"Upon closing odf the exchange transaction in accordance with the agreement, Orangebox will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Cirilium Holdings and Media Magic will become will become Cirilium Holdings' cpntrolling shareholder, owning approximately 80% of its outstanding capital stock. There are certain restrictions . . . ."
We also have "appraisal rights," but if we exercise those rights, that is, if we "properly dissent to such we "will not be entitled to receive any distribution made thereafter by Media Magic to its shareholders."

From the "APPRAISAL RIGHTS: PAYMENT DEMAND FORM" page:

  1. The shareholder's name and address...
  2. The shareholder asserts appraisal rights with respect _____ shares of Media Magic, Inc. common stock.
  3. The shareholder did not vote for the transaction.
  4. The shareholder does ( ) does not ( ) {check one} accept the corporation's offer to purchase the shareholder's shares at a price of $0.005 per share (priror to the Orangebox-Cirilium Holdings transaction.)
  5. If the offer is not accepted, the shareholder estimates the fair value of the shares (prior to the Orangebox-Cirilium Holdings transaction) to be $________ per share, and demands payment at this value per share plus interest.

Boy o boy...

Figuring last trade before illegal r/s was at .0002, I guess I'll fill that blank in with $600 per share...

Deadlines are Dec 16, 2005 (for asserting appraisal rights) and Jan 5, 2006 for notice to withdraw under Florida law...

Is the company even open? Did the name change? Are they considered private or public? I still don't understand why your brokers won't sell it. I had a stock fall off the earth and I had 40,000,000 shares than a r/s 25,000 then it fell off the planet. My ameritrade account still shows the positions. They were determined worthless.

I think if you ask for anything higher than .005 then they just say they do not have the money to pay and you lose. They should file bankrupcy IMO.

Yes but MAMGQ still has a short position percentage of 1,250,000 percent of the entire OS and a short position of 13,800,000 percent of the FLOAT. Actually, it is more likely 18,000,000 percent of the FLOAT.

If a requirement results that the short position be covered it will not matter whether the stock is "Q" or not. In an "Economics 101" world there is no question of whether a requirement should occur to cause such short covering, it would be a reality.

The shorts (insider, broker, MMs) can cover their short positions at .0001 or $300+ it does not matter to me. Just as long as the share structure is not allowed to change until the short position is covered. Require a forced buy in per Reg Sho requirements.

Now consider this:

What will happen when MAMG Shoirt Interest reporting becomes a requirement?

TIME WILL HAVE RAN OUT. How can a short position of 1,250,000 percent be explained in terms of the entire OS ?

Short Interest Reporting in Pink Sheets Securities Coming Soon!

New York, NY, November 7, 2005 -- On Thursday, November 4, 2005, the SEC published for comment a proposed rule change to amend NASD Rule 3360 to expand the short interest reporting requirements to over-the-counter (‘‘OTC’’) equity securities, including securities quoted on the Pink Sheets. The full text of the proposed rule change is available in the Federal Register or online at: http://www.smartpdf.com/register/2005/Nov/03/66875A.pdf.

In January 2005, Pink Sheets petitioned the SEC to cause the amendment of NASD Rule 3360 (http://sec.gov/rules/petitions/petn4-500.pdf). Under the current rule, NASD members are only required to maintain such records and make reports regarding securities included in listed on Nasdaq or on a national securities exchange. This excludes OTC equity securities, thereby denying investors and the markets for these instruments the protections of transparency and regulatory oversight provided by Rule 3360.

NASD will announce the effective date of the proposed rule change in a Notice to Members to be published no later than 60 days following Commission approval. In recognition of the technological and systems changes the proposed rule change may require, the effective date will be 90 days following publication of the Notice to Members announcing Commission approval.

seriously, they're simply pulling another gambit. We need *expert * opinions here--if nothing else, we need to throw monkey wrenches into the works to slow down their steamrolling of the rules and regs....

For real, what would be "fair" to me? Everybody who made good bank on this could step up and pitch in for a killa equities attorney to render an opinion for those who could never trade.

imho, the big-cleanup guy from i-hub should step up, first... 1/2 mil? c'mon, dude, throw 50k in the pot...

H2 knows who I'm referring to...

The lawyers that know how this chit works ain't gonna *do nothin* without some dough up front, plain and simple...

and--wowza--we really *should* "f" with these guys as much as we intelligently can--what a buncha crooks, relying on the SEC to "f" us, cuz we played a pink...ya, there's some justice

I have yet to receive any paperwork. Who is your broker? What brokers have distributed paperwork? I have instructed my broker via an email they are NOT to sell my MAMG stock unless I place an order for them to do so. I made sure to copy the SEC and NASD on the email. I also inquired to regulators as to why no criminal charges had been brought yet. I also inquired how it was acceptable for a broker to RS someones stock when they were aware or should be aware that a violation of rule 10b-17 was in progress. I inquired as to how my broker was protecting me and acting in my best interest if they had a reasonable reason to believe SEC regulations/security laws were being violated if said broker moved ahead anyway and stated "not my problem, it is the companies liability not mine".

good post, Mr Bill.

I got my letter first, apparently--judging from reactions here and at i-hub. Did *not* get it via Scottrade, although Scottie being Scottie ("letter of the law" blah blah), Scottie may have "complied" with any requests for names/adresses before other brokers...

Didn't ScottTrade try to send many people paper certificates as well? They seem to be trying real hard to distance them from GVRP/MAMG stock liabilities IMO. Seems pretty clear why, huge risk if the short position had to be covered. From a FAIR economics point of view that is the only TRUE resolution.
