RyBree - If Yakima posts on their website that they are now requiring Aero, and only Aero, to be installed, then I will back off.

But if the statement from Aero wasn't true wouldn't you think Yakima would put a rebuttle on their website. Give me proof that this is a scam and then maybe I will start believing.

Only one way to find out... I'm in the process of contacting Yakima Speedway.

Why would a reputable company like Aero state the below if it weren' true????
"All vehicles that race at the speedway in 2007 will be required to have an Aero Exhaust muffler installed on their vehicle. Yakima Speedway, an historic one half mile oval track located in Yakima, Washington (www.yakimaspeedway.us), will be supplying Aero Exhaust mufflers to the racecars that do not already have one installed"
Couldn't they be sued for misrepresentation???

Why don't you just contact Yakima Speedway instead of theorizing over it. I'll get to the bottom of this.

I would think that a Company PR would predate a Web Site Change. Just my opinion. But I guess calling the Speedway will get this argument out of the way.

I don't feel the need to call for my common sense leads me to believe that a company like Aero would not release false information. I still don't understand what you are gaining by trying to make everyone skeptical. It is pennyland. Geesh. Always a risk at this park. I am with 10of13, Wit and Imak. Enough said.

What good would that do? Maybe he is not able to release info as of yet. Cassity - I believe in these companies and what they stand for. Maybe I am naive, but I like it that way.

Ask him if he recently spoke to a subtle basher who has been banned from every other board he visits. I bet he says "Yeah, I talked to that guy"

I tried to call him already, left a message with his secretary(his wife). I'm really not sure what I'm even suppose to be asking him.

The "exclusive agreement" is that the raceway will stock AERO and have the exhausts available for discount purchase because Yakima raceway has specific sound limits. They know AERO solves the problem immediately. Yakima signed a deal to sell AERO... quick fix in the pits for cars that don't meet the requirements. Yakima Raceway has no other agreements to carry other company's exhaust... hence "exclusive agreement."
I called Ron this morning and asked him if things has changed since Yakima Speedway's PR on 1/2/2007 about Aero Exhaust. I told him that I thought that drivers were encouraged, but not required, to use Aero Exhaust, but a PR put out by Franchise Capital says that Yakima Speedway now requires Aero Exhaust to be put on their vehicles. I told him that I was concerned that Yakima Speedway now requires Aero Exhaust (pretending that I'm a racer =) ). His response was that he has not heard of this, that this was news to him.
Well, he is the manager, so it is hard to imagine that he would not have heard of this first, but who knows. Maybe they haven't told him yet. Or maybe FCCN jumped the gun putting the "required" wording in the PR this morning. Who knows.
Anyway here is Ron's number: (509)925-2806.

Wit, you can check a lot of other boards. By some strange coincidence there are about three bashers with only a few posts each on Ihub asking the same exact question about calling the racetrack. HMMMMMMM, now that seems odd.

They exclusively carry AERO exhaust... they have specific sound requirements... AERO available at discount at the track through "exclusive agreement."
Sounds good to me... even if they took PR liberties with the interpretation in your mind. The deal is the deal.
